      cleo mina paneer is a type of cottage cheese. While it is delicious, it would make the dish not vegan. If that isn't an issue for you though, I'd say give it a try c: (I just watch for the recipes, I’m not vegan but a lot of the recipes on pul are very wholesome)
      Edit: The texture tends to be softer though, so it may not hold its shape like a firm tofu would.

    Sadia, A big thank you from Holland. My sister, mom and I started living a vegan lifestyle and also started incorporating some minimalistic elements. We have different motives tho: save the planet (all), fight high blood pressure (mom), become a home made chef (sister) and support an athletic and active life (my sister and I). Even our dad doesn’t eat meat anymore, and cut down on dairy!
    Because of the partial lockdown my sister and I, who study in different cities, live at home at our parent’s house for a few weeks and we reconnect and every night cook amazing dishes for each other. And of course, half of the recipes are yours haha!
    You and the people you work with and connect with here on this channel have played a very, very big role in this. This is a safe haven for people who for example watch the Game Changers and want to make this lifestyle their own. It’s because of you guys we proudly carry the name vegan, and I always recommend PUL to everyone interested. Keep inspiring, and we hope you all stay safe and healthy during this pandemic. Much love from Arnhem (and Delft and Groningen)

    Amazing recipes, Sadia!! As an Indian, I can see that though these are all adapted recipes, you have done your research on Indian techniques of cooking, from marinating with yoghurt to roasting whole/ground spices instead of just adding in "curry powder". Fun fact to those who might be unaware: traditional Indian dishes like Aloo Matar [peas and potato] or Palak paneer/tofu (spinach and Indian cottage cheese/tofu for those of us who prefer to veganise the dish) all have unique names and aren't all called "curry", and so no one uses "curry powder"! Also, thank you SO MUCH for just saying "naan" instead of "naan bread". Can't tell you how happy I am

    Can't wait to try these. Thanks! Love curries in our house and our favorite way to serve them is on a bed of sliced raw cabbage with rice/naan on the side. Adds great texture and reduces the amount of rice/naan consumed.

    You should add garam masala in the end (just few seconds before turning off the gas) because it contains lots of aromatic compounds that vanishes when you overcook them. Love your videos ♥️

    Just made the butter 'chicken' - it was divine! Thank you Sadia!
    Given we are all in self-quarantine, I made these subs & it still worked out amazing:
    1) used ketchup instead of tomato paste;
    2) used lemon juice instead of lime;
    3) used dried parsley in the mix instead of fresh cilantro on top;
    4) didn't have yoghurt so I baked my tofu with just the dry spice rub.
    Still tasted great!

    I love this channel, I learned so much through it as I become vegetarian last year, thank you so much Pick up limes.
    wanna give advice for even easier naan because as for me this one is too fancy + I quit sugar too.
    so I just did naan today, with flour (350gr), boiled water (250 gr) a pinch of salt and olive oil (2 tbs), that's it, the dough is very soft, I just ate like two naan for breakfast 😂, you can try, I can assure you it yummy.
    Stay blessed and healthy❤️🙏🏻

    Hi Sadia, when you add mustard seeds, you have to let them splutter in hot oil, it is called tempering in English but it is actually called tadka or vaghar in Indian languages. If you don't let the mustard seeds splutter then your curry will have a lil bit of bitter taste

    I've been looking at recipe channels on RUclips for years and this is the first curry made by a non-Indian person that doesn't contain 'curry powder'. Also, beautiful interpretations which I can already tell tastes heavenly. Kudos on the whole spices, I grinned so broadly seeing that. That's also something noone gets right. Whole spices just take these dishes to a complete new level. Brand new subscriber here, and just got a little more confident about using your recipes now. 😀❤️

    Sadia,
    Thank for all your tips, recipes, and plant ideas. I started transitioning to a vegan life style thanks to your RUclips show. I'm still eating whats left in my fridge, but not buying any more meats. Salmon will be difficult to give up so I may keep that and have less often.
    After trying a few of your recipes and those of other vegan RUclipsrs, I'm noticing that I have fewer cravings at night because I'm more nourished. Also, my digestion has improved. More plants around the house while I'm sheltering in place is also a benefit.
    In California, many of your ingredients are actually cheaper than meat.
    Another reason, I'm moving to vegan is the original cause of the corona virus; mistreating wild animals for meat in Chinese wet markets.
    Again, thank you for your valuable contribution to the health and well being of the world!
    Linda
