I definitely agree with you about just how great a good flow run is, even just as a viewer. I've never jumped a bike, but going back to my snowboarding days I had the same feeling. I love watching nice, smooth runs.

very fun video eric! however apart from the dirt jumping I am engrossed by whatever is going on in the background at 3:29 ish: in the distance a car horn honks, after a beat a man yells "really?!". it's like the first scene of some drama
Your transition from gravel bikes to mountain bikes reminds me of all those kids who listened to nu metal back in the late 90's and 2000's before moving upwards... Gravel bikes are the nu metal of off road cycling. :'D

I ride pump track tites on my 26ers. Billy Bonkers and DTH do it for me. I dont jump tho

My mtb came with kenda tyres as standard, absolutely terrible, far too hard swapped them for continentals and never looked back 👍
I agree, one change can make such a difference. Maybe that 16 flat spoked front wheel doesn't really belong on a 40 year old road bike. I have a 36 spoke wheel with 50 year old hub that would look more correct. The track bike should get the bladed wheel.
