      If you want to never break a chain again look at getting a Shadow Conspiracy Interlock chain. They're pretty legendary within the BMX community and I've never heard of anyone breaking one of the regular ones, much less the "supreme" version with forged links.

    thanx for great vid. i remember being a kid with limited funds and when i got a chance, i upgraded my bike parts. i knew my bike inside and out and really appreciated any changes. i am seeing so many great used bikes on craigslist. i think there is something about spending some time with a bike and learning skills with what u got. a better set of clubs does not make someone a better golfer. it is just more forgiving n hides mistakes. a paintjob is really cheap way to make big change. thanx!

    Noticed the headset cup flying out when you went to remove it -- gear ties are the answer here! Bend one in half with one end through the headset cup and into the center of the removal tool and it'll pop onto the gear tie without going flying or dropping onto the floor.
    They also work great for keeping a fork in place while you take off the stem.

    I have an old school Cannondale thats 25yo. the paint has some dings in it from use over the years but I really like the two tone silver to red paint. I constantly go back and forth with leaving it alone, powder coating it, and stripping it to a bare aluminum frame

    A lot of bmx riders use halflink chains because they’re more durable.

    • @RandySRT
      @RandySRT 4 года назад +1

      The added weight of a heavier chain adds rotational mass. So I can see a con to it as well, especially if you do any climbing. But for DJ and BMX, why not?
