The Last Stand :: SCRIBBLE LINK PURGATORY

Formed when some guys studying in Dayananda Sagar College (Bangalore) thought of jamming up together for fun and trying out on music and further became the first rock band of the college. The band was formed in Nov 2006 with Pretm (Vocals), Vijeth (drums), Lukhendro (guitars) and Siddartha (bass). Earlier the band started of as an alternative band covering bands like Lost Prophets, Finch, Drowning Pool, Incubus, etc.. The band now stands as a metal band with a touch of alternative music in it which makes the band unique from the other Indian bands. The Band has a set of own compositions with unique riffs, fast solos, thundering double bass and screamo-melodic vocals. The band is especially known for its extraordinary performance and unbelievable acts on stage. The Band has played in almost every colleges in bangalore and were the guest bands at the Northeast Fest held at St. Josephs college of arts and science. This band was at the bangalore rounds finals of Campus Rock Idols08, played at Kingfisher October fest08, Timesyouthopia organised by times of india group and many others. They were the winners at Alliance College Fest (transcend06), Rock to glory organised at Lido Mall07, RV College of Engineering Rock Fest(8th mile08), PESIT Rock Band competition (ATMATRISHA08), and bagged 2nd place in International School of Business & Media Rock Band Competition, Acharya Habba 07(orgainsed by Acharya Institutes) and Scintillation-08 (organized by Jyoti Nivas College). Apart from this the band has played in many pubs, malls, etc...
