Can you guys start reviewing Korean skincare. I think Korean skincare is simply amazing, they’re at par and even better and efficacious than western counterparts and I’ve recently segued into Korean skincare and I’m amazed. They’re just sophisticated and technologically innovative. Gotten quick and amazing results from them.

Couldn’t have said it any better! Huge proponent of K skincare here. Never had acne until I hit my 30s. Western skincare wrecked it even more. K skincare was all about skin barrier (healing fR within). Western skincare is just taking care of the top layer. My skin dramatically evolved since changing over. Mind you, K skincare is not even big w/ retinol at all. It is life changing!

3 or 4 decades ago I used to buy a clay mask with sulfur. I had very oily skin and quite bad acne (prior to 4 rounds of Accutane). It was great, it sucked up some of the oil out of my pores while also actively treating the acne. It would calm my skin down for a couple of weeks.

I prefer Fresh’s Umbrian clay mask over this when I want that “spa” experience. I think the ingredients are much better overall, the results are the same (if not better!), and the price point is much better because the Umbrian clay mask comes in a smaller tube size for about $25. Deff check it out if you’re looking for a new clay mask! 😊

I am 49 and my skin has never looked & felt better since I switched to Caudalie skincare more than a year ago (having regular facials for the past 7 months including PDRN & Vampire probably helps as well). I tried Caudalie even before I was aware of its virality. My skin is sensitive and has a tendency to become dry without proper moisturisation, and it had been quite a struggle for me to find suitable products for my skin before this. I decided to try Caudalie when I was searching for natural, sustainable skincare that doesn't break the bank and found plenty of rave reviews about its star product, the Vinoperfect Brightening Serum (let's face it, French skincare such as Clarins can be quite expensive). I liked how the serum worked on my skin and decided to try other products from this brand, including this mask, and I've never looked back since. Despite most of the products being fragranced, they have never made my sensitive skin flare up or feel uncomfortable in any way. Just thought I'd share my experience of using Caudalie skincare for anybody who would like to try it, especially those with mature, sensitive skin.

I agree. I do see quite a bit of hate in the comments about the brand 😅 which is surprising to me. I love the brand. I have very acne prone skin, hormonal acne. Caudalie seems to be the only thing that has CONSISTENTLY worked for me and has kept my acne away. It is pricey but definitely worth it for me if it keeps those horrible break outs away. I have sensitive skin and the fragrances don’t bother my skin at all. I actually really like nice smelling products.

Caudalie is one of those skincare brands that I don't like, mostly because their products are so average for the price, and I also hate fragrance and all the essential oils they use in their products, so this clay mask is probably no different from any other cheap clay mask. I much prefer K-Beauty clay masks which are cheaper, doesn't have all those allergens and are also lovely to use.

I've been using this mask twice a month for a few years. It hasn't done wonders for my skin but it is one of the best masks I've tried. The Amazonian clay disrupted my skin mantle and it took years to recover from it. I'm one of those people that put the mask on and leave it on for much too long... sometimes an hour. With this mask, I haven't had any skin reactions but that may be because I only use it when my skin is feeling congested.

Great video! I personally don’t like Caudalie masks because I had also experienced redness after using a trial size. In my opinion there are definitely better masks on the market for less money. But…. I love some of the other Caudalie products despite the fact that they use perfume. I have never experienced problems with their skincare for aging (in terms of allergies or acne). Well I am also mixing products from different brands and I am always curious to try something new. Even so I have completed a lot of jars of Caudalie products which means something about me. Well this is only my experience and I am not advocating or making commercial of Caudalie. Great video! Thank you! I love and appreciate your work ❤.

The fact that the internet is crazy about this product, even though it just does what all clay masks can do, is kinda funny. Growing up, we always had this German brand 'healing clay' at home. Not just do make masks with it, but you can actually eat certain clays and they help with digestive issues etc. (Depends on the clay though! ) Well the difference is, that the stuff I'm referring to, is 5€ for 500 grams of powder 🤣
Clay was definitely one of the better things I put on my skin as a teen. Compared to toothpaste or nosestrips it was great. But nowadays, I only use it if my skin is extra oily & only on my tzone. I also kinda like the temporary effect it gives to the look of my skin (even though the pore's appearance doesn't last)

I know this mask works as every time after using it at night my skin would be more receptive of the thick layers of cream l put on my face and soak it up faster - the pores are less blocked by skins oil secretion. Further proof is In magnified skin photo done at my facialist also see the pore have nothing blocked.

    Doctors, looking for recommendations,
I'm new using skincare products am & pm. Exfoliating.
My face, specially under eye and eyelids, all around my lips are now irritating, burning and flaky.
What can I use to alíviate this irritation??
    Thanks

@doctorly PLEASE ANSWER!! If someone uses tretinoin every day, do they need to do any more exfoliating? Such as chemical peels or masks; AHA/BHA?

Caudalie is pretty expensive brand. I hate they put fragrance everywhere, even though I love their glycolic night cream!

I have combo skin with a fairly oily Tzone and most clay masks do this for me, it isnt that strange to me

I’ve used this mask for years, and have been a Caudalie customer forever. I have sensitive acne prone skin and this mask definitely helped with my breakouts. Their Premier Cru cream is the best thing I’ve ever used. That Aztec clay mask burned my skin.

The owners of Caudalie are really nice. They care about the environment and keeping the products as natural as possible.

Next time, you could apply the product on each other to overcome the no mirror issue. 😂

Hello doctors! Would you please do a review on Dr Benner’s vitamin C serum? Cause it claims that it is same as skin ceuticals one while a lot more affordable! Many thanks in advance!

I like it, but I like it for all the marketing reasons. Smells lovely, looks a bit posh, nice experience. In general I don't like clay masks with dry skin so it's about as thick as I'm going to get
