Only issue with the set is if it breaks you have to go to John Deere to fix it. Great review as always.

it's a little inaccurate how you can build this without having to call over a John Deere mechanic.

I hope it sells well and Lego makes tons more farm equipment. Having a Lego technic farm setup would be amazing! A seeder or a round bailer would be so cool in technic! Imagine a giant boom sprayer you could build yourself. So cool!
I had a feeling you wouldn't be able to resist this one Jang, glad you decided to review it. It's the perfect size and price for me. I've been steering it around my desk trying to back the trailer into different spots, only proving I should never be allowed near the real thing.
Now all we need is a plow, a planter, and a grain wagon to go with it.
And then a combine.
I'm sure any kid will love the way this steers
As a farmer myself, im a huge fan of this set lol
This is my most anticipated set ever!
I absolutely love it even though I have a few gripes
1, I wish the starfire satellite receiver had been brick built instead of being represented by a decal
2, I wish they had included some form of tillage equipment to be pulled, as these tractors are designed for heavy draught applications, but I can see why they chose a trailer for increased play value
All in all though, a LEGO JOHN DEERE set is a dream come true, and I hope they do more with the license!

I'd love to see a model B, or any of the old 2 cylinders really. give it a little 2 bottom plough, sickle mower or 4 row corn planter!
I'd argue that especially because its a tractor made with technic pieces, it should've had tillage equipment. I honestly don't see much play with an empty trailer that has no loading equipment anyway.
I hate Deere, people have the right to repair their own farm equipment.
I want another construction Lego city line like 2005. Those were incredible sets. Just classic yellow construction vehicles.

Only $30 dollars? That's actually a great deal. Similar sized non Lego John Deer tractors cost around that price. However, those tractors usually have the sound buttons and sometimes lights.
I’m not a fan of Technic as a whole, but this set just speaks to me for some reason. I will definitely be getting it. Plus I’m sure there’s a way to install a minifigure seat in that cab, it’ll just take some imagination. The big question is why it took LEGO so long to collaborate with John Deere?

I did not bother with any stickers on this set. Looks fantastic as it is. No need for messing around with stickers on this model. Best small technic build for a few years.
I wasn't even aware this set existed, and I don't usually buy Technic, but I now I want this. I love the color and the shaping of it all.
Looks like a fun outdoor model for kids to play with.

It definitely looks like not much is needed to make it minifigure compatible
it reminds me of the other tractor for the city set and it looks to be just a bit bigger so I'm gonna get 1 for my train to hall with the other tractor. as I'm kinda doing a project to do an 11 wide steam engine. with a grain hopper car, flat bed car with 2 tractors, a box car, a tanker car and a caboose.
want those wheels...

this is a cool set, i see these and the IH Steigers all the time.
I assemble John Deere tillage equipment also have direct contact with their JD tractors this one (as well as the dually version). Amazing and impressive in real life so I absolutely love this. I'll probably end up putting it in the break room. 😅
The scaling is actually perfect as I'm 6'4" and the tire is about exactly my height.

the ladder could have been a few of those green 2x1 tiles with the little walls or 2x1 cheese slopes

Servus Jang, another cool video from you, thanks for that. I really like tractors and don't like it when no figure fits in, but imagine if a manufacturer would add a suitable figure to every kit.....thousands of figures in countless sizes would be the result. That would probably kill the minifigure business, or...therefore: no figures at Lego-Technic (probably).

I love this set, and definitely will be picking it up soon.
One thing that does bug me is that it explicitly says "4WD" in the set title, however there is no drivetrain mechanism which would actually make it 4WD. Something simple could have sufficed. No need for a fancy gearbox or anything. just a couple axles and some driveline components. Articulating it could be done relatively easily with the multi-axis coupler piece.

I like how it looks, and the price seems pretty reasonable by Lego standards. Functionality is a bit disappointing though. I mean, it doesn't even beat the mini-Claas...
How cool would it have been if they would have given it a PTO driven by the wheels, and then a few accessories you could connect to that? And maybe include one or two in the set, and offer extra ones as polybags?

I’ve noticed more and more sticker cut-outs not centered in my own sets I’ve built as well. Usually not too far off like Jang’s but is slightly irritating.
