Thank you for watching and listening to the video. Your comment is appreciated.
Try moving the cab up by 1 piece seems to help with proportions need a 3pt hitch too
Thank you for your suggestions. I agree that the tractor Could used a hitch.
Very well done video! Would you by chance have a list of the additional pieces (not included with the kit) you added to complete these modifications?
Unfortunately I do not have the part numbers for the mods.
To the best of my knowledge LEGO Technic parts include:
Axles
Axle connectors (to connect the dual wheels)
Differentials 28 Teeth (with bevel gears)
Double Bevel Gear - 20 teeth
Liftarm Thick
universal joint
This is has been added to the description.
Put an engine to motorize this tractor would be more intetesting and close to realistic than adding more willy like monster trucks toy 😢
This scale being almost minifigure-friendly would be interesting next time City has the Farm subtheme. It works almost too well honestly, and expanding the Technic building style into other themes beyond System integration would also be interesting; might even bring newer fans to the Technic theme if Lego were to do this. But as a purely Technic set, I have mixed feelings about this set, and smaller sets like these in general, I just don't think they fit into the overall theme that well outside of building style, as the most amount of 'functions' these sets receive are a simplistic steering mechanism and maybe a liftarm that moves something. The mods to this set do help it regardless, but I still feel that this would fit better into the Farm subtheme of City better than it does Technic.
I agree with a lot of your perspective. This set would be a great addition to the LEGO City farm sets. I notice there are a lot of other sets using Technic pieces and this would fit right in. This set does also work as a good entry to Technic for those wo may be starting to get interested in Technic.
Hello! How about making the other half of the tractor tilt vertically, i mean to be able to overcome rough and uneven terrain? I was thinking if that would he possible it would be awsome! Cheers
could do a implanment that had a lego motor in it to run the tractor though the PTO
Thank you for your feedback. That sounds like a good idea to keep expanding on this kit.
Can you make a list of parts needed from thr original set as well as a video on how to put it together
I’ll try to when I have the time and add it to the description.
K thanks
Do you have plans available for this mod?
I am sorry but I do not have plans. If you have any questions about a particular part, or section of the build, I will try try to answer it as best as possible.
Why didn't you build a trailer to carry lego power modules to make the tractor move and steer?
Than ks for sharing your idea. I don't have the LEGO modules yet but will definitely look into a mod in the future.
I opened mine and one of the big rubber tires was missing
Sorry to hear about this. There should be four in the original set. Maybe reach out and contact LEGO on their website and/or contact the retailer to see if there are any other options.
This doesn't work can you tell me how to build it
If you want to let me know which part you are working through and I’ll try to provide feedback
8 hjuling
Thank you - Takk. I was interested in your comment. I looked up hjuling and it came up as "wheeler" in Norwegian. Thank you for your view and feedback.
