I'm glad that we are finally having the LEGO Technic set with John Deere license. I really hope that in the near future, there will be more LEGO Technic sets with John Deere license.
Those who build in green will like those new additions :) EDIT: I like the style of this review, everything we need in compact form. Good job on this one!
I think for the price it is a interesting set! You mentioned that tractor doesn't have any suspension at all but if they added a simple vertical tilt integrated with steering or something like that( K700 from spintires), it would have been perfect for the price/functionality wise. Cheers!
The 42136 set was supposed to have a trailer with pneumatic log loader. Just like the old legendary $60 LEGO Technic tractor with log loader with pneumatics.
I was able to buy this set for 15€, I think it's a great set, it is aimed for younger builders. This can be a nice opening for kids of 8+ to enter the technic world!
I think in terms of playability for younger Technic builders, this set looks pretty good. An 8yo me would definitely have been happy to get it. Perhaps they could have made it somewhat more generic (i.e. not specifically John Deer) to save on some licensing fees?
if you pay attention to the details the trailer is not John Deere ag, it is Deere construction with the yellow and black logo instead of green and yellow like the tractor. I bough one for my kid.
2:53 if the set gets any bigger,it will be just another one of those 18 plus sets without any advanced mechanisms like you always complain about,do you really want that to happen?
You make it 4wd when you play with it 😉 Jokes aside, this is the most fun and playable set in the wave… I love to practice the reverse with a trailer which isn’t so simple since this tractor has articulated steering… My kid love the tipping trailer feature, so we both really enjoy it together!

Got this set for my wife who loves everything Lego farm themed.

they likley would nit have made it if it wasnt gonna be john deere
I build it for 3h but I was watching Lego Ninjago so I didn't pay much attention to building so in the end I build for like 40 min together

The colours on this really pop
This is a set i might get just for the tires.
Great review!
Why do basic Lego sets need corporate branding? Can somebody @LegoHQ please remove those stupid CEOs and consultants?
This is a small Technic set for beginners.
It's ok.
Why not do best 100 or below dollar sets?
this is a nice small little set
Are they coming out with a model that tows a t90 instead?
Do you think Russia stole John deere tractors in reaction to this ?
Which smaller $10 set is better? The Motorcycle or the Telehandler?
I like both. Maybe motorcycle is a little better
I also have both, the motorcycle is simply ingenious although I find the telehandler more fun to play with.
This set is decent
Tractors themselves dont have suspension just an axle on a joint that allows the axle to move freely, the main suspension is the tire itself
What is taking so long? After the mclaren review you said the John Deere review will come the day after
I’m sorry

The class xerion tractor was epic though! 3 modes of steering, power functions, gearbox, and more! I want something like that
I like the John Deere
Since it is a licensed LEGO Technic set, there is surprisingly no information about the real John Deere 9620R 4WD tractor. 0:16
They should have changed the trailer to a Russian tank
J🤢hn D🤮🤮re
Joke aside, this looks really good.
I don't understand the instructions
Was planning to buy it until i realized that its not actually 4wd
it's only $30

I feel this is too much and I think $15 to $20 is more fair
you pay an extra for the john deere brand.
