    Hi, Please help. I am between either Mofi Source Point 888 and Revival Atalante 5 spears to be used in my space which is about 20 sq metres. This room opens up into another room that is about 15.69 sq metres. Will use either of these two models for Prog rock, jazz and some reggae music. Which in your opinion is the better of these two models. Thanks in advance.

    I loves the 10 for Rock music but for orchestral music i missed some detail and refiness. Will those improve that?

      Yes. The tuning on the 1st woofer was changed to handle less bass and be more precise, transferring the deeper bass to the other 2. So you get great control in the mids and highs and strong bass also.

    I feel af that price point they float in a big pond of sharks. I don't see comparisons being done with speakers in their own price class so far.
    It was the same with his ELAC speakers, each and every single one I've heard wasn't bad. But definitely inflated my vintage guys floored them easily. Not to mention the actual german ELACS are tons better than the andrew designs . But there is aslo a huge price difference so fair is fair
    Would love to hear the mofi , but at that price i have to wonder....are they really worth it.

    Filter components are at very low quality. So, the finest detail and refines is lacing. That is unfortunate. Profit is the ruling force. But there is a solution. GR research have mad available an upgraded filter, that transform the 8-inch module into to a better speaker.
    The openness by RUclips is starting to push manufacturers to make better designs. Not to fool the byer.

      I was wondering about that BC he knows a lot about speakers so I would consult him in a Detroit second. Profit is the name of the game isn't it, but again I'd fall back on Grady's advice.

      @@josefserf1926 Hey everyone's ear is different. Some believe that the best speakers in the world is Klipsch, and nothing else. Some like JBL, some Like Elac, some like SVS, and on and on. You think I'm joking ok...not a problem. You do you.

      @user-oe1jk2ro4o 24 дня назад +1

      @@SkyshakerrrrIt wouldn't cost 20k or 25k. There are a lot of manufacturers that build speakers in Europe and the United States at reasonable prices. For example Spendor, devor, etc... Also I do not think there is an exotic construction or exotic parts in 888. They are made of basic paper drivers and a simple mdf box. Nothing special.

      @user-oe1jk2ro4o go buy those that's a lot involve in speaker manufacturing.
