- Playing Steely Dan's "Hey Nineteen" on my system. See the Pioneer M73 amplifier and the Pioneer C73 preamplifier playing through the Thorens TD1500 turntable with an Acoustical Systems fideles cartridge. For CDs I have the audiolab's 6000CDT cd transport outputing coaxial digital to the Musical Fidelity MX-DAC. The speakers are RJKAudio's WMTW-10 speakers. They are my own design DIY speakers. Enjoy :-)

It’s always nice experiencing a system’s successful synergy. Well engineered Mastering in the studio, helps bring this all home. From the Speakers, to the SPECS, and from the alignment on the Thorens, to the condition of that stylus 💎 , when that synergy is there, the world’s greatest performances are at one’s command.
(It can really tax the patience, climbing the hill, but the resolute perseverance MAKES IT worth it, all the time).
🌹thank you 4 posting
Well said, thanks.... 🙂
Awesome sound from that Thorens top of my list for turntable upgrades
It is a very nice TT.... 🙂
I swear the algorithm must know I don't like Steely Dan, I keep getting related videos pop up.
LOL, too funny.
I know it certainly isn't convenient or aesthetically feasible but....have you ever tried bringing those speakers further out into the room? If not you may be amazed at the imaging you may achieve. They sound great where they are but i bet they could even sound a ton better if they had space all around them. Love Steely Dan btw! Play in a band and will covering some of their tunes this weekend
You could be right but the esthetics of the speakers further out are not desirable to me. They sound amazing where they are now and soundstage isn't lacking in any way. Thanks for watching.... :-)
@@RobertKohut TOTALLY understand that! They do sound amazing. Trying to find ANY information about those speakers but there is absolutely nothing when i do a google search. Where are they from and how do i find out more about them? thanks! oh dummy me didn't read the next sentence. You made them....wow!! Great job!! Dynamic and full range sounding! They are some of the best speakers i have heard listening to video clips. Just watched a guys coverage of the munich high fi show and he had very high end mics and recorded in 4k. Your speakers would stand toe to toe with most of what i heard there and put many to shame.
@@RUMBLEGO1 Thanks for all the kind words!! :-)
A fellow audiophile recently shared your post with me and I must say .....I was quite impressed with your mix of vintage Pioneer Spec gear , Thorens deck and choice of song 😉👌. So much so it inspired me to play and record that song on my rig , albeit the digital version as my turntable isn't installed at the moment 🤷♂️.
BTW: What speakers are being used ?
Thanks for the kind words. See the description for details. :-)

Those are some extremely impressive DIY speakers 🔊 you've created 😉👌.
I also posted that track on my channel after your inspirational demo. Feel free to check it out 😊
@@2DangeRuss4u Thank you! I will. 🙂
It sounds pretty rough on the edges but after all these gears are what they are…….
The ChiFi front end sucks.
No bass !
It doesn't go deep but what is there is pretty nice and fast. Depends on taste, I find it quite acceptable for music.
No, no. Steely Dan plays the system.
May be so.... 🙂
