What was your biggest success and/or failure in the last year? Did any new opportunities force you to try something new? HUGE thanks to the Patreon Supporters for making this content possible.
Posted my first video on my channel! Don’t know where this is gonna take me but I sure hope it’s somewhere good Thank you for opening up in this video it’s kinda reassuring
I've learned so much by watching youtube this year, watching series like Mindfield and Hamilton's Pharmocopeia. I have also gotten time to be self critical and learn more about myself. I definitly relate to how you felt about your job and wish I could also quit.
Unfourtenatelly last year was boring af for me at least. No going out, no girls, no cash, no nothing :D, but I hope this year things change for me a little ;d.
Not sure whether its a failure, but I lost my mother in 2020 which was quite a tough hit and still is. Though, I guess the success side of it is that I learned to stand on both feet, being more independent than to expect to rely on others. Is it strange? Yes, but I think despite the awful scenario, it does help being pulled out of a comfort zone. Even if it is to only expand yourself and your own horizon.
My RUclips channel has been growing in subscribers lately and I hope by this December I’ll be able to make RUclips a part time job and gain a decent amount of money from it that way I can pay off my car and upgrade to other things that will bring in content.
Ik how it feels, man. But hey,at least you have a car that you can go for a drive with most probably with no destination whenever you feel like. Damn,I cant wait to buy my first car. I just wanna go for a cruise every now and then... It really is therapeutic.
@@chubz01 same here. As long as the UK doesn’t get put back in lockdown, next month I will be starting my driving lessons and can’t wait to get a car so I can drive.
Bro this winter has been so difficult. I live in a city where I work from my apartment that only has one window. I rarely leave here and it’s been really depressing at times. I’m at a point in my life where a lot of friends have gone their separate ways, and it’s really tough to accept that. But, having your therapy videos, on top of your other videos, and hearing that we’re all struggling together is a huge help.
thanks man...I'm definitely in that age where my friends are married, having children, moving away. Add covid madness on top and its really lonely. This platform has helped a lot
I've been subscribed for 2-3 years and the progress you've made is tremendous. You made a great call quitting your 9-5. Congrats on the channel growth man!
“Winter is not good for car reviewers” - ugh, As a Canadian watching you rip around in the m3 in a snow storm was awesome! That’s what makes your channel unique. Love the POVs. Driving is my therapy too. Explains why I always forget to get something from the grocery store
I really appreciate that you are so open and mature about emotions and mental health because that is sadly rare in a lot of popular car content creators... feel like too many are just immature and privileged
This speaks to me. These late night drives are so relaxing and I love getting on those on ramps and hitting very unlawful speeds. It’s like freedom. Even though I drive a Kia nothing stops me from enjoying the crap out of it Especially in the boost weather we’ve been having lately down here in the south. It’s like the engine has so much more to give. I’m 24 and started my software engineering career only 2 years ago. I love cars so much that I have an itch to want my career to involve them. Unfortunately I’m not sure how to go about that. I’m glad you found your freedom
Keep working and saving so if you're about to lose all hope you can quit and take your shot. It sucks how much you have to save to make it a reality without panicking about supporting yourself.
Same exact situation here, software engineering too. Trying to find a way out but not sure how to actually make enough money doing something I’m passionate about.

Dude, Thank You! It's genuinely awesome for a guy like me to get a peak behind the curtains of your channel and all the personal thoughts and feelings you went through to get to where you are today. I wish more youtube creators did that. Anyways, just wanted to let you know how much I, and all of your subs, appreciate your candid and genuine style.
