After all the work and cash that you’ve spent on it I’d keep it. I’ve had an
E46 M3 CS for 17 years and put 140k miles on it. Had the odd year where several things go wrong with big
£££ bills, but you get through those bad periods and enjoy it again. There’s so many more good days than bad : keep it & enjoy it👍🏼

Sold mine for as you say, stupid costs. Which were exactly what i expected and calculated before buying, but it just wasnt worth the money. I never really enjoyed mine. This is my first visit to your page. Don’t sell it , the E92/93 or a nice looking cars and they will look nice in years to come. I will shear this , I own a E93 , during lockdown I decided I would use the time to sort my E93 out. I spent approximately £4000 on parts. I changed all the injectors, coil packs, lambda sensors, Nitro sensor, MAF sensor, EGR valve, Rocker cover, repair the Alternator and replaced Belt and Pulley, front whee bearings, replaced electric windows main control switch. Now what started this when it went in for its MOT the garage said the management light was coming and indicated the fuel pump was the problem, i give the Ok and they replaced it all was ok. Few miles later the problem return after several visits the still couldn’t resolve the problem. Covid 19 came.. Lockdown. Hence, I systematically went through everything I know that would likely to fail due to the mileage ( 80000) . It has performed beautifully since then. I am reluctant to part with this motor. I don’t drive it the winter that often. So don’t sell yours if you don’t have to .. in years to come they will be the model that many people will be wanting to own. Good luck.

Off the topic of the M3 - what watch are you wearing?
Oh and supercharge it - turbos lose some of the great sound from that V8

As you’ve said it will never be repeated. A V8 never to be seen again! Either dramatically reduce your mileage, and cherish it, or let it go. That’s the only way ahead.

First thing you can do is sort out the paint on it and the bmw badge at the rear. It bugs the 💩 out of me lol, and definitely some new rims!!!

Have you ever thought about learning how cars work with spanners and stuff instead of talking forever and paying people bucket loads to fix every little problem?

Yea keep it mate, you've spent money on fixing it, now enjoy it again!
But mate, never, ever say what else can go wrong! Lol, I'm a mechanic and I work at a BM dealer, and I'm a regular M3 forum reader, want me to list what else could go wrong!?😂 (cars generally as well as M3 specific stuff).
Anyway, why do you think their are only 2 options? (selling it, or keep using it as is, a DD), how about using it as weekend and special trips car and get something much more frugal for DDing? Save yourself a load on fuel costs, but you can still enjoy that lovely V8!
PS Assuming you keep it, before you mod it, spend a little on sorting out the bodywork, e.g No plate holes and the chipped bonnet, would look great then 😎

as you said, you've put a few quid into it now. It would be a shame to sell it, does it make sense to sort all these issues for someone else to enjoy?

these cars are a money pit, every month some small stuff goes wrong and parts are $$$ lol
