Great job!! I never noticed the Fred + plants thing and that just absolutely broke my heart. I loved the Fred/Illyria story arc even though it is so difficult to watch.
Right? I just finished rewatching Angel, again lol. And this storyline always gives me SUCH mixed feelings. I love illyria and I get excited for her to appear but I also love Fred and I'm heartbroken about her death every.. single.. time
There’s also a scene in the episode where they all cast a spell and revert to their teenage selves and Fred once again mentions how beautiful plants sound.

Something else that’s interesting is that in the alternative world in which Cordy is a movie star, Doyle passed his visions onto Angel. The last thing Cordy does before she dies in Season 5 is kiss Angel to give him one vision. So I’m thinking maybe the visions were actually meant for Angel all along? Also the similarity between Whistler and Doyle. I can’t be the only one who noticed … that’s basically the same character. Oh and you remember after Buffy sent Angel to hell and went to L.A. The girl she saved asked her if she could be Anne. That same Anne is later taking care of the street kids in L.A and on his last day on earth Charles visits her and helps her load the donations onto the Truck
So many great little parallels ... I love this show so much. Also I'm so on board the bi Angel train lmao. Honestly the whole "I want to share the pleasure of killing with another man, you don't think that makes me a deviant, do you?" (paraphrasing) was pretty on the nose ... and there was 'that one time', or something like him kissing Spike on the forehead in s2 of Buffy ... and Spike likes to hit him with 'ponce' and 'poof' and such, which could just be a general guy insults but is kind of interesting if you take it from the angle that Spike knows something others don't. I think Angel's just a guy from the 1700s so he doesn't really pursue it, and he prefers women anyways. Anyways AU Angel/Doyle was real haha.

It started with Angel, but at that point 'Joss's Curse' was fairly deep into gaining momentum I'm refering of course to something horrible happening every time a couple resolved all their problems, promised to get together on pure intentions, someone wasn't suffering as a result (Wesley for Fred and Gunn, Spike for Buffy and Riley, Dr.Horrible for Captain Hammer and Penny) or there wasn't a sinister subplot. Later it speread to all his shows like the plague, becoming more and more, swift and harsh.
Didn't Gunn and Angel pretty much become friends. Been 6 years since I seen the series. I got into it after bing watching Buffy when it was on Netflix. From what I heard if there was a season 6 Gunn would have became a vampire but they decided to end it with season 5.

I did not notice the thing with angel and doyle. it's incredibly possibly- doyle has such strong bi/pansexual energy and angel is technically canonically bi! it would make sense for wesley to try and 'no homo' it lol
1:02 is out of context, that is the episode where Cordelia met Skip and became a famous actress changing her whole universe where she never met Doyle or reconnected with Angel, thus when Doyle died the only person to pass the visions to was Angel.
