@@Ozzie_Mandias Okay but what did Buffy *do* to him, exactly? I can see that kind of comment being called for when it comes to Spike, but she treated Angel well to a fault. Not turning her back on him even when Angelus took over and separating the two identities once that was over and taking the heat from her friends for it, etc. Not thinking Angel was written three dimensionally on that show is valid but it seems to me like you want any excuse to hate on Buffy....
in HER show. he is boring. in HIS show,he is awsome. i watched them both as they aired. hes sooooo much better in his own show. they outgrew each other

Angel is a far better character than stefan damon klaus Elijah eric bill and edward Cullen. All of them pale in comparison. He not some brooding cool guy angel has so many layers than those 2 dimensional characters.
? I feel like you answered your own question lol. Cuz he was no longer a side character, he was the main character. And honestly look up interviews on here. There are so many. You can easily find an answer to your question that way if what I said doesn't suffice (which it most likely doesn't lol, sorry)
@@frankbarrie6785 yes... but its the same character... Cordelia showed growth as a character without changing her personality... I honestly wasnt a huuuuge fan of angel because of that actually... i still watched it but I still preffer buffy...
@@BrunoOliveira-to7hf His personality really isn't that much different, he just got to show more aspects of it :) As already mentioned, he always maintained the tendency to go into broody mode quite easily! Basically, he found other sources of lightness and happiness in his life that were still safe within the confines of the curse caveat situation! (And also a fair amount of these clips in particular were him either under cover and thus putting on a character, or under the influence of magic haha)
Love to see people appreciating Angel in 2022 lol
This is one of the reason why I don’t trust people when they say that Angel is boring (especially the ones who watch ATS after Buffy)
Once he got rid of that narcissistic "ball and chain"... a whole new set of stories and adventures opened up to him.
@@Ozzie_Mandias but how was he narcissistic, he was probably the most selfless person and usually kept his emotions to himself
@@ethanf6136 I meant Buffy... once she was out of his life... mostly... he developed.

"I'm a funny guy."-Angel
True, Buffy believed so. That's whom he said it too. 🌸🔥🥰
"Why not just run for a shorter amount of time?"
Don't think that one's being a dork.
The text made this so much better I'm dying laughing rn
The fact that my best friend is almost exactly a freshman version of Angel, in both the way he looks and acts is quite cool IMO
angel's always been a favorite character of mine...
a guy like this...turns into Angelus...
The depression line got me so much. Happy 4th folks
All of these made me really laugh and 0:13 - 0:18 might be my favorite dialogue of the show
These clips of ‘Bones’ are wild.
This Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel: The Series
Angel reminds me of me. 🤣
I’m in the minority:
Angel > BTVS
I agree!!

@@sylvienowak2860 No, still definitely in the minority

Lol that was thw funniest thing I've seen all day 😂😂😂😂
David is allowed to be a dorķ for as LONG as he wants ¡!!@
And then soon after he'd join the fbi and solve crimes with Bones
Lucky what the vamps in buffyverse doesnt have the number maniac weakness or we must see Angel counting all coffee beans one by one
I really liked the Doyle character. It's a shame Joss decided to kill him off. It sucks even more the actor passed away from OD in real life.
How have Cordy and Wes not heard of Bonanza? The reruns still play on TV.
Cordy doesn't watch old TV and Wesley doesn't watch TV

The only realistic vampire was "Valek", from John Carpenter's "Vampires"! 💯👍🏿💯
Why was his personality in his show so different from Buffy ?
Because they gave him a character arc.

It's not that different. He is still serious and brooding the majority of the time haha but he does have his goofy moments.

Thats what I was thinking! LOL
Where's that Muppet video from?
smile time season 5. demons have taken over a children's tv show and angel is turned into a puppet.
@@JosephineMiller Thank you!
