- I didn't mean for this to be all season 2 but i got to the 4 minute mark and realized that it was so far. So i just decided to find the rest of clips in just this season and maybe do a part 2 from all the other seasons.
btw the more is petty, old man, vain and cheap lol

Gotta be honest, I really enjoy goofy, slightly-man-out-of-time Angel so much more than "eternally mysterious brooding Angel" that he was on Buffy. This was a spin-off that did right to the characters involved. Even to Cordelia, if you ignore that entire bullshit 4th season.

Angel, Wesley and Cordelia had some of the best character arcs of any show I've watched (again, if you forget season 4).
That was Joss Whedon's fault. He wasn't happy the actress was pregnant
@@Stuart267 that was the reason she was written out of the show, sure. It was not the reason for the extremely shitty and bizarre storylines that occured with connors return, the Beast, Jasmine, etc etc. That was just bad writing. And we know they could do better because both season 3 and 5 were very enjoyable to watch.

His character grew and changed so much when he got his own tv show. He had more of a personality on here than he did on Buffy.

He took the name Angelus because his sister called him an angel after he "returned from the dead". Which was in character as the family was very catholic, and he showed up at night on the day of his own funeral.
I rewatch this scene so often 3:23 cause it’s so cute, he wanted to feel included 😭

Angel is literally one of the greatest shows of all time and was canceled unjustly to the point every other network says it was a massive mistake that they did and the president of WB at the time says he regrets his decision to this day.
Angel surpassed Buffy and should have went at least 7 or 8 seasons.

he was bland in buffy and in the last two seasons of this show (with the exception of the puppet episode) when you're annoyingly bland for longer than you are a lovable dork, the blandness is all people remember

Honestly, while Angel and Buffy were more “passionate” and “intense” as a couple or whatever. These scenes show why they weren’t good for each other. Angel never really had friends in Sunnydale. Even when he crossover into Buffy, after his show started, he went back to being the broody dude he was in the first three seasons in Buffy.

Man, coming off of Buffy, it's both really weird and super-refreshing to see Angel being CUTE.
