I remember playing NFS Nitro on the Nintendo DS and everyone was freaking out like 2 years ago because no one could find proof of the secret moon level after you beat the game

damn the secret moon level is one of painful experience in my childhood

I mentioned this a long time. Nitro looks like if NFS was a Nickelodeon kids show that got a licensed tie-in game.
Fun fact: Apparently Nitro uses the same game engine as Most Wanted and Carbon.

Fun Fact:The Ds Version of Need For Speed Nitro was Developed by FireBrand Games (they also ported nfs undercover for nintendo ds and nfs the run for 3ds/wii) and they used the engine 3D OCTANE which is an engine that they made.
Many ds racing titles they launched (trackmania,dirt 2,grid and cars 2) looks identical because of using the same engine!
I think that what makes this game special (and what modern racing games tend to lack) is its sense of _style._ It uses real-life cars, but they all have slightly unrealistic proportions, and this also compliments the graffiti system (where the track is painted in the colors/patterns/icon of whoever's in first place). Not to mention the soundtrack matches perfectly.
It actually feels like you're racing in a stylized cartoon! I wish modern racing games were brave enough to try stuff like that.

Nitro is deffo not obscure, at least in my opinion.
This game was like the bright shining colourful package in the bargain bin that ALWAYS stood out from the rest.

Ngl, I had fun playing this game back in the day. Not everything has to be 4k, super realistic ray tracing and have F1 simulator physics, fun doesn't require that.

NFS Nitro or as I would like to call it: "Stereotypes The Video Game".
Basically NFS Nitro is like one of those Hot Wheels car games and seeing this video about this game is quite fun. I may try it out myself too one day
The craziest part of this game is the fact that the Challenger SRT8 and the Zonda R are in A class together.

Kuru, if your playing on dolphin you can fix that screen problem in the cutscenes. Turn on the experimental manual texture sampling under advanced graphics settings.
I played this game with friends years ago. Doing elimination with cops in multiplayer is chaotic (VS) and the best form of team work (Coop)

Me and my brother played this as a co-op racer on the Wii back then. We even got the DS version later.
This game's multiplayer is the best in the series in my opinion. Most others didn't feel as fun since single player was the focus.

On a serious note, this game needs a bit more credit then it originally got imo. It's far from perfect but it's one of the best racing experiences you can get on the Wii.

Need for Speed Nitro kind of reminds me of the Asphalt racing series for some reason, Especially Asphalt Adrenaline.
