Marseille are testing Arsenal's resolve knowing we need to move Nketiah to raise funds for a new striker. Arsenal don't necessarily have to sell to Marseille. Problem is Eddie might not agree to move to another club after agreeing terms with Marseille. I still think we can offload Eddie elsewhere to call Marseille's bluff, which will then force them to pay what we demand. Nelson also needs to go. He's actually been a pain in the backside. He's long overstayed his welcome but he's happy to sit on the bench for the pay cheque. We have to move both players to maximise funds for a striker, but even if we just sell one of them, we'll still invest in an attacking player

You are just making an assumption the same as everyone is and I guarantee you like us all get angry when we sell cheap. If Nketiah leaves this summer for even 20 million it will be because the structure was better.
If Marseille had offered 27 million in one payment next summer the deal would have been done. If you would have had your way we would have sold him for 15 million 8 weeks ago which is already according to you 12 million less than we were offered now. So the point is had we sold him fast the way you are demanding we would have taken a lot less money.
What are we telling clubs wanting our players if we set a price and then keep dropping it over an dover again??? This is the reason our record sale to this day is 33 million for Oxlade Chamberlain when Chelsea sold Lewis Hall for more than that.
If you want us to sell better than you have to accept that we have to earn that right now by refusing to drop below what the club want. Nketiah is not an issue and with the potential of up to 14 extra games this season if we make the later stages of cups we need 25 players. I am happy with the attack and factually we have enough goals in the team as proven last season and the season before. If Eddie stays then fine as long as we sort out the midfield which is not dependent on Nketiah leaving.
It's annoying that whenever a player prefers Chelsea to other clubs, Liverpool, Arsenal and Man. Not for a decade
150k and above are for players that have been a quality starter for seasons. Caicedo doesn't have that at that time. A quality starter but not for seasons. But Liverpool should be able to sign Lavia, 50k is a good number for him at that time. Caicedo now do worth 150k tho. Paying a high salary to a young player that haven't prove his consistency is a gamble. You can see that happened with Cole Palmer having 80k on his first Chelsea contract. Cole Palmer new salary is probably around 140-180k. Chelsea took a gamble with Caicedo, given him huge 1st contract. But this might cause some problems in the near future (1. Player salary rise 2. Club salary structure 3. Other clubs might rethink to sign him on that wages if he doesn't work out - this happened to Barcelona's players like Joao Felix and Ansu Fati which both have more than 200k per week contract).

As a united fan I completely agree. I predict Arsenal will win the league and United finish second. They are the two up and coming teams with young talent rebuilding and going places. City and Liverpool have aging squads, Liverpool lost klopp and pep isn't far behind him but apparently Arteta will be turned on by the fans if they fail to win silverware and United won't finish top four even though United haven't failed to reach top four two years running in almost 40 years. Don't forget city also have 115 breeches to answer for. Leceister are being deducted 10 points before a ball is kicked for overspending, Everton and Nottingham forest were penalised for a combined 5 breeches of FFP. City might be relegated to the third division yet.

This Liverpool pull talk is just cap. Lavia wanted to join, Liverpool didn’t want to pay 45 million and only offered 42 million. That wasn’t accepted and then Liverpool stupidly went and tried to get Caicedo even though Chelsea had done months of ground work with him and he’s a Chelsea fan. Lavia felt insulted and then didn’t want to go to Liverpool. None of that has to do with pull, that’s just awful moves from the ownership. Liverpool also backed out of Bellingham and even if he just wanted to go to Real Madrid over Liverpool what does that have to do with pull, same as tchouameni. You can’t criticise a clubs pull when a player chooses Madrid instead. Yeah it’s extremely embarrassing going for a player publicly and not getting them, but these instances have nothing to do with pull.

Thank You for pointing out other factors, as its not just Slot called him and he said No. If he was their top, or 1st and only transfer target as many have said, then if 3 million was the issue that's ridiculous in itself. And add what you mentioned about Caicedo and Bellingham, any transfer always has so much more going on behind the scenes.
