I really do think solanke will be a good signing for tottenham. The amount of crosses they put in to that area will give him loads of goals. Richarlison is a good backup and if they dont have their entire backline out for a long period of time like last year, they should get top 4

They have replaced Diaby with Philogene who was evertons main target this summer which shows how bang average he is. Watkins is nearly 30 now and his age will catch him up with all the games he’s got to play next season.

seems they are thinking that they will underachieve by losing Gordon Bruno or Isak, not a chance that happens, the Gordon rumour to liverpool was only a last minute PSR get out in June but got rid of Anderson and Minteh, personally if Newcastle really get going they could be right up there, last year they lost a lot of games through injury and losing Pope, the season before they had best defence in the league, if they sort their defence then have a midfield of Bruno G Tonali and Joelinton, with Gordon and Isak upfront playing once a week they could really push

As a fan of Manchester United I completely agree and it's not all fans of "top 6" clubs to be fair and as a United fan I ain't even a fan of a top 6 club 😂😂😂 , I personally love clubs like a Bournemouth or a Burnley having an extended run in the PL because it's like winning the CL for a lot of these supporters that have been in the lower leagues for most of their lives

I think the big difference between Ipswich and the Burnley of last year is that Ipswich own all there players that had great seasons, Burnley came up on the back of having a maatson, tella, harwood-bellis all on loan and then could never replace them when they went up. If you took leif Davies and Chaplin away from that Ipswich team they’d have the same issues this year
McKenna is more flexible too. We didn't dominate possession every game last season, passing sideways and backwards for the sake of it.

@aevison616 De Ligt really doesn't have injury issues. If anyone I would say Mazroui has and that is the issue with him. He's a fantastic player who started most of their ucl games. De Ligt started more games last season than any of united defender.

Brentford will finish somewhere between 10th, like 2 years ago, and 15th, but will NOT be in a relegation fight.

People are overrating Liverpool massively no recruitment of note as of yet while everyone around them got better. New manager as well I say they finish in 5-6th one long term injury to their defense may push them even further down
Liverpool have easily the 3rd best team in the league. Best goalkeeper in the league and one of the best CB's and RW's in the world. Plus a bunch of other quality PL players. Wouldn't expect them to win it but their team is much better than the other top 4 contenders so they'll probably be top 4 imo even if Slot doesn't do great.
The other top 4 candidates all have 0 or 1 world class players.
Maresca has literally played 3 different systems in pre season but he’s stubborn

Rory says Brentford doesn’t belong in the premiership but that feels a bit harsh. They gave Chelsea 2 great games and have a top striker. They are also a very solid management and owners I just don’t see them going down
Aston Villa are currently weaker than last season. Diaby replaced by a Championship winger and Luiz replaced by Onana. Two key players downgraded. Have 7th written all over them.
Diaby wasn’t that good for us. Bailey kept him out the team. Luiz also had a poor second half of the season. He didn’t even start when we beat Arsenal 2-0. Tielemans almost kept him out the team.
Champions league extra games especially the new format could be a challenge for Villa. But tbf Emery is a seriously experiences European manager.

I would say the villa squad is a lot more complete and well rounded, squad depth was the reason the villa tailed off towards the end of last season, emery looks to have pretty much sorted that issue bringing in cover all over the pitch bar maybe RB and CF if Duran goes
Best signing and breakout player will be Yankuba Minteh. Opposite wing to and being touted as better than Kaoru Mitoma
Liverpool even without signings still have a better squad than the rest outside of city and Arsenal. If slot ball clicks and its been looking quite promising in pre season, I can understand the klopp factor but I don't think we will drop that much, Liverpool definitely top 4 IF we click, I got united in the top 4 as well, I think they are going to improve hate to say it, Newcastle has to be in for a shout though, no European football, tonali, joelinton and pope back it looks pretty good for them, I think the Newcastle and Spurs push for top 4 but just fall short, Chelsea, villa and west ham from 7 onwards. High scoring points tally for top 4 this year IMO and city and Arsenal obviously fighting it out with city going 5 dont see Arsenal dropping but remaining as the main rival to city.
I'd go one further than that preseason Slot has improved the defence ,with lesser players how many times were Liverpool behind in matches last season? I think if he can get them cooking and keeping goals out they will be very close

Timber is gonna play ahead of calafiori. Hes top class. And he will fix our LB "problem". Zinny only played so much bc timber was out all year and tomiyasu was hurt a lot unfortunately.
Califiori will play more as a backup CB or will slot in if arteta wants to try out some back 3 formations in Europe

I like how Chelsea are completely dismissed but United are top 4 contenders. United finished 8th last year with negative GD. United has had a decent window. Zirkzee, de Ligt, and Yoro are good transfers, but Chelsea also has had transfers of similar quality in Neto and Tosin and we could conceivably get Osimhen and Felix.
Maresca ball will take getting used to and we have been defensively shaky during preseason, but given the quality of the squad, we should have a fair chance. Our attack is strong enough to comfortably put us ahead of United. Nkunku, Palmer, Jackson, and Neto mean a lot more G/A than whatever United puts forward. Cucurella is currently one of the best inverted left-backs in the world. Caicedo and Lavia have shown promise and Enzo doesn't magically lose his magic the moment he puts on a blue shirt, Poch's football just didn't suit him and he was carrying an injury much of the season.
I don't think Chelsea is likely top 4 competitors bc we will suffer defensively in the first part of the season, but we shouldn't be written off as 5-6th contenders. At the same time, counterattack United are seen as guaranteed in those positions.

Putting West Ham in the same bracket as Fulham, Palace and Wolves is a bit of a stretch.
The only time they have finished outside of the top 9 in the last 4 seasons, they were winning a European trophy.
Plus 3 years on the spin of European football, QF, SF and winners.
None of those clubs have been anywhere near that level of consistency.
