As a wolves fan I absolutely love coady, the best leader we’ve had in my lifetime. The way Bruno lage treated him was a disgrace I can’t stand the man. Terrible mistake letting him go. I hope coady knows 99% of wolves fans love him and always will.

@@MoreThanAGame_really strange decision. Lage wanted to move away from the back 3, he gets sacked and ironically we’re back in the 3 now playing some great stuff 😂 only thing I thought you’d ask him about was the Raul injury against Arsenal.

Super interview this, great watch/listen. Always enjoyed his post match interviews, just honest, open, humourous and comes across sound and dead easy going. Strikes me as the type of guy you'd want as a best mate, just has that aura about him. Class player and a real leader imo. I always remember watching when he played during lockdown when there were no crowds in the stadium and all you could hear for the 90mins was Conor shouting constantly. Organising, pulling the team together and just driving the team forward. Always wish Utd would have made a move for him (I know this obviously would have never happened) as he is the type of player I think would have helped the team immensely. Was surprised Wolves let him go, but as classy as he comes across, just got on with it. Brilliant player, quality profossional and all round top lad. Wish him well.

Outstanding episode in which Conor shows he is a model professional. I was gutted that Everton did not pick him up after the loan period. It was a no brainer for the club and I don't understand why it didn't happen. Well done lads for another great episode.

"How far do we have to go back ?" Great question straight off the bat. I saw a very young Conor Coady playing for the youth academy at Leigh Sports Village against Blackburn Rovers (if I remember right) The Liverpool team included a young Suso & Sterling, Morgan & Wisdom.
EDIT ; I mentioned these players before he eluded to them 😂
Conor played in midfield & whilst I can't categorically state he was the best or superior technically or skillfully, he certainly wasn't. What really struck me & still to this day resonates, that throughout this lads career it was his character on the field & further more his desire & determination as a natural born leader. Throughout the entiriety of the game, Conor was extremely vociferous, he was persistent in encouraging & demanding more of the players. Constantly in the ears of the opposition aswell ! Winding them up. You could clearly see his devotion & commitment not just to the team but to his football in general. His work ethic & ethos was what defined him, almost sacrificing his own role - personal achievements for the benefit of the team. But what's really pertinent here & specifically to the point I'm making, the match really wasn't important. Yet to see a young lad play this way, behave this way & think this way, some 20 years ago, still sticks with me. Conor really defines what it is to be a consumate professional football player and can look back on a very good career.

Conor is a CLASS ACT, Wolves were extremely disrespectful to him considering he had been there so long & had been a captain. I was GUTTED when we could not make his loan permanent & we all know why that was. Wish him all the best. 😀👍💙 COYB

Great lad, I was gutted he didn't breakthrough to the first team at LFC, always hurts when you watch local lads coming through the ranks and then they don't really get given that chance. He's done himself proud though, great career, real shame Everton weren't in a position to hold on to him

    • @MoreThanAGame_

Yeah mate but think LFC just had a few quality midfielders who he would have struggled to replace (his words). But you're correct he's gone on to have a great career, and it was simply down to cash that EFC couldn't keep him. Thanks for the comment 👍
