- Well, Dragon's Dogma 2 has been announced, but I never played the first one. Here we will be fixing that as I have been told it is one of the best RPGs ever made. I will be plaything through the Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen version and doing as much content as I can. As I don't know too much about the game I am sure there will be a big learning curve. At least for me 😂. Hope you enjoy!
Set in a huge open world, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen presents a rewarding action combat experience. Players embark on an epic adventure in a rich, living world with three AI companions, known as Pawns. These partners fight independently, demonstrating the prowess and ability that they have developed based on traits learned from each player. PC users can share these Pawns online and reap rewards of treasure, tips, and strategy hints for taking down terrifying enemies. Pawns can also be borrowed when specific skills are needed to complete various challenging quests.

It clearly deals holy damage indeed. It creates lots of holes in the ground.
I wish there was Earth-based damage in the game as it's clearly an Earthquake spell.
now that you mention it
it is odd that seism is a holy based element
and maelstrom is dark based element
because in dragons dogma there are only 5 elements
fire, ice, thunder, holy and dark
we're pretty much missing wind and earth type element
@@lawliet617 They should add Water too, imagine summoning a tidal wave to crash down and sweep enemies away, or trapping goblins in a sphere of swirling water.
And elemental reactions so the drenched status effect has a visible effect when lightning strikes them

All the goblins in the beach gangsta until the level 200 arisen that spent all their time in BBI shows up making the ground shake real hard
At 200, sorcerer is nothing compared to a pure INT Magic Archer. 9 fold bolt will wreck everything in seconds with no cool down.

@anonymousinfinido2540 intelligent (magic) build. Pure int build mean all points goes into magic for maximum magic damage. But you are left with a weak body; meaning lowest hp, stamina, and physical defenses.

I mean it's clearly an earth based spell, but well, dragons dogma don't have an earth/geo element. And you can see the circle thingy when casting the spell on the staff, judging by its color, it's definitely a holy spell.
I mean, maelstrom is dark damage
I love casting it inside grand soren, standing on top of the fountain in square, guards can't get me hahaha😂
The devs knew how busted holy Bolt was, so they only have you one Other holy damage spell

Water, Earth/Vines, and Wind element should be added in Dragons Dogma 2. And Elemental Reactions.
high seism is actually pretty useful at taking down flying dragons if you time it perfectly
you might think its impossible considering that seism is a skill that is only affects ground type mob
well in the case of a dragon as long as it hits the tail it will take it down
it also applies to wright too if i remember right
Always have my main pawn as a sorcerer because all the spell slap dragons like bitches
I've always pronounced seism as size-zim because seismic, at least for my entire schooling and watching science shows I've always heard the ei pronounced with the I sound. Anyway nerd moment aside, it is a fun spell

I love this game, its unfortunate that you don't actually take down armies since the spells for this class are pretty much made for that.
Hope they don't remove any moves or vocations for DD2..
They are adding more including geo mancer i.e. manipulate nature
Never play DDO but does anyone know if multi-player interacted with sorcerers ability to join in on another sorcerers chant to cast the same spell at the same time, multi-player with sorcerers would be awesome but a little broken if that was the case.

To be fair the sorcerers strongest attack is focus bolt specially if you only played as a sorcerer pop 4 demon pri bless your staff with holy and just hold square and release after it’s charged it destroys everything even things that are not weak to holy get rekt
Never! Give that spell to a pawn. Every single big spell is better then his one high lv dlc
Since I like to spell sinc and have control on what spells are going to be used I disagree.
on the dlc hard mode I just have big problems with it. I don’t know if it’s ever helped me. Even with the most meta magic leveling. However maybe with the spell buff it’s something. Set up feels rough sometimes for me personally though. To each their own!

bro i love your vids but why can't you pronounce any of these spells right. like, its weirdly consistent. Seism is based on the word "seismic" as in, to describe earthquakes
Often for words like this I go with what I have been calling them for the entire game. Sometimes words just sound normal one way and I don't usually look up the true way to say it.

it's super slow
That's the trade-off, personally I like it since it means it makes it a little challenging to use the big spells, the game is already pretty easy.
