Even if its fucking easy its still my favorite along with the dragon. I live just for the fateful decision drop when he reveals he's your previous character, "i shall meet you on your on terms, joined by my own companion of old" "you stand now at its end arisen, see your journey through!" i mean damn, this is an experience even if its the easiest fight unfortunately. The dialogue and emotion is close to grigori level.

"yeah, sure... he is definitelly weak at his head, but... who will climb at his head to hurt him... or... just stop him for a second or two"... that moment when you realize that the fight goes for half an hour and you lack on healing items and started the long and slow moment when you run our of Wake Up stones... what a wonderful fight... god lord... to me the best fight is the Daemon tier 1... nothing at DD compares to that moment.

You get used to it. Bolide does enough AoE to get many of the glowing spots and you can punch the rest. As for Metal Golems, you can manually point Gicel at their amulets and chip away at them. As an aside, the jumping force slap is one of the Sorcerer's most useful skills and comes in handy bullying magic resistant goblins. They're also extremely mobile with holy spam. Standing around pulling world enders is cool and all, but usually unnecessary. Sorcerers are the kings of the dogma.

It respawn every 14 days at 3 different locations. outside of grandsyn, old battle ground and dragon forge hill.
In NewGame plus...it'll respawn at dragon forge dude's hill every 14 days.
I farm it before griffin Hunt..Ive killed plenty instead of having to chase it to blue moon tower. I play magic archor. I carries a spare set of gold forge fire enchanted daggers at all times.
I can kill the black chramira outside of the village with ONE SHOT to the head
with just 1 buff of magic balance. For the Curse dragon with dark bishop...I'll buff 4 -5 time before I open the door. The dragon goes down with ONE. :-P....For death, I'll simply set BAIT..then lure it into the hallway as I do with
those giant dog..i have 9 fold bolt and Richat shots RINGS...when buff 4-5 times,..Death will RUN..so I carry extra BAIT..lmao
For pestie flying creature..I shoot super drake in the FOOT with rivet bolts
just for kicks and giggles ..just so I can watch it stump it's feet :-P
The same for dragons in the sparyard and forgotten city.
Death or the curse dragon will spawn in EARLY when I play..
so there 's 3 super dragons in one room at the same time...just for FUN.
9 fold drops ALL flying things...The trick is to make it fall on the ROOF..so I can slice it;s heart out on the ROOF,...not down in the alley....where you can get gangbang.
Drake is the most memberable for me...becuase it took me over a week
to learn how to fight/beat him. Sometimes it would take 2 hours just to fight him...but it was more like TRAINING as I learn the mechanics of the game.
I just grab to his Tail or scale him...fly on top of his head for kicks and giggles. now,..even if I fall from a high distant..it wont kill me..My mage will heal me..
The first time I ran into drake was in the DARK doing an escort mission.
Damn goblins were chasing me too....it was wickage .
It had a shocking/fright/fear in my EXPERIENCE of the game.lol
Once I figure out I could camp 100 yard away..save every 7 days. Drake shed
lots of TEARS for making me almost pissed in my pants the first time I ran into him. :-P

It's pretty clear from this list that you've never fought a Metal Golem using the caster classes. If you don't have a physical weapon, M-Golems are absolutely miserable and unfun, since their amulets are immune to magick damage, and there's always one or two amulets that are way up above the ground, hanging off some fucking tree branch of floating the the middle of the fucking air. At that point you have to basically pray that your Bow using Pawns have the brains to actually attack the amulet instead of wasting time attacking the M-Golem itself.

I feel that the Gazer ranking is a bit unfair since it's assumed that you know how to deal with it. The mechanics are much cooler when you find it the first few times, which is a much better basis to rank all of these bosses in the first place.
Discovering the ability to break the magic its using to revive its tentacles and attack the orb of power was epic. And using your brain to guess that the tentacle could hit its own body was a great addition that they didn't really need to add, but made the fight a bit better and more interactive.

    • @The_Rift
      @The_Rift  2 года назад +4

    • @blakeslone9820
      @blakeslone9820 2 года назад +2

@@The_Rift Absolutely. Many bosses after the first few times become much less interesting and fun and more annoying and time consuming. Golems and metal golem are a big one. It's incredible the first time because although they share model and some animations with cyclops, it feels much different. But then you fight them again, or as a caster, and everything is much less enjoyable or even annoying if you can barely hit it. Especially when the metal is floating and you are a melee class.
And then of course, some like gazer are just a cake walk once you know what to do. I think the intrigue comes from seeing that enormous enemy and frantically finding out how to kill it.

For example, you can stop Hydra from spawning more heads by cauterizing its wounds with fire, which is how Hercules killed it in the actual myth. I know people don't like their comparisons but a permanent yet fixed number of heals per rest would like a souls game would be very useful. (Ignoring mage heals, those should stay the same.) Make it so you have a singular button to heal, that you have an animation to use said heal and a specific number so they aren't spammable. Not even the souls games kept us as cows eating mountains of grass after demon's. It's a good system, more games should pillage it.
Also buff it so at least higher healing spells, heal all health rather than just the gray bits for attrition. Mages should be the king of the heal, unless swap in the healing position to a new vocation like a cleric with that incense burner.

The second longest (and most annoying) fight I had was against a Golem in the witchwood when I managed to destroy every weak point except the one on its foot (I was a Strider) and he would never give me a clean shot on his foot. Trying so hard to do quest, get stuff, helping people but can't go back to meet them. Why can't you free roam after the game end? Just because the developers don't want to make a post-game world? You can avoid this ending but that also mean you need to sacrifice your lover or become the dragon servant so you can become a king. For me, my first Golem fight would be easily in S tier, I remember when I was exploring that cliff near the male bandit castle and seeing a sword in stone and a strange rock nearby. I took the sword and got my first magic daggers and the rock suddenly stood up and the epic boss music started. I fought with it for about 30+ minutes, because I didn't know how to beat it at first, hiding behind the rocks for his laser beam attack. After I beat it, it was such an epic feeling. I got the magic knives and defeated their guardian, no other game gave me such a satisfactory reward after a long battle. Of course I was pretty low lvl and was playing on normal and those magic daggers completely dominated the next half of the game.
Also while exploring BBI the first time on somewhat, then I thought, high lvl (about 50) the first time I encountered chained Gorecyclops... He completely wrecked me, but the sheer size and awe when I first saw it only made me more excited to play the game to find out what sort of huge and awesome monsters would I encounter next.

Daimon’s first phase literally couldn’t do anything to survive spamming skull splitter, and his 2nd phase literally couldn’t move if you have blast arrows. Grigori was extremely cinematic but it was easy (maybe strider is just too op). The ur-dragon was actually really difficult and I mean the offline one. An idea for Dragon Dogman 2
Now that the dragon is no longer, humans decided pawns were now useless and started to persecute them. Sir Julian saw the opportunity to gather those powerfull wariors and to manipulate them for his own goal: the conquest of the whole country. He would eventually face Lady Mercedes who, after a lost will turn herself to us, the arisen, to save the situation with our influence and after an epic fight with Sir Julian (with his 3 pawns equiped with BBI lvl 3 armors and weapons why not?) before starting the actual quest: a run throught the monster land to find out about the origins of pawns and eventually find them a land to live their new humanity.
Anyway, this game has a lot of potential and it would be a shame not to exploit it. What will happen to pawns now that their "reason to be" doesn't exist anymore: fighting the dragon.

    • @user-eb5jw9li2o

If you think that everything ends with the death of the dragon and the rise of a new seneschal, then you misunderstood the game). When the GG kills himself, he gives his world-dimension a chance to exist, but this does not mean that the Seneschal from another world-dimension will not want to set the dragon on again. This is the essence of the cycle. The throne of God must not be empty, there must always be a seneschal. What the dragons are talking about. At the end of the GG, he saves his world from destruction, since with the death of Grigori, the world begins to collapse. From what I understand, the Great Red Dragon serves as a containment mechanism for the monsters, and after its death, everything starts to fall apart. Not to mention the fact that it is the Great Red Dragon that makes a hero out of Arizen, pumping him and removing the limit of depriving him of his heart in order to be worthy of fighting him and enduring the test of the Seneschal and the burden of the Throne of God. One throne of God and many worlds-universes. The concept of the multiverse, a lot of Arizens from other worlds and one throne of God that controls everyone.

All DD endings do not lead to a happy ending. Agree with the dragon, you will live until another Arizen comes and kills the dragon. Lose to the Seneschal, become a dragon in search of a new chosen one. Defeat the Seneschal, over time, the roof will move out and you will begin to poison the "Dragon" on the worlds in search of a killer for yourself. Kill yourself, give the pawn a soul, but the throne of God will be empty, and as you know, the Seneschal should always be, and another Arizen from another world will take the place. Almost all dragons mention when the throne of a god dies, which means they are connected from the throne system.
