you forgot to mention you can get a strider's ring which upgrades skull splitter to brain splitter which makes you spin even faster for more damage. I personally like to pair it with leaping stone for extra height and instant reset to remove the few seconds of vulnerability at the end of using the ability.

Stone jungle is underrated af in the DD community imo. Once you get a boss knocked down, you just spam stone jungle over and over again to keep the stunlocked, its an amazing skill
Also if you perfect block with holy enhancement on your shield, you'll make multiple orbs that come out destroying anytjign you see (including your frame rate)

Don't sleep on the Powder Barrage Assassin sword skill. You need the Bitterblack ring that upgrades it before it becomes useful but once you do it can stunlock crowds of dragons to death with ease. Comes from Bitterblack Gear level 2 which makes it relatively easy to grind for by hitching a ride on a harpy at Fortress of Remembrance as there is a guaranteed spawn on the upper level of the tower near where the harpies spawn. You can reset it by traveling back to Grand Soren and resting till morning 5 times.

I did not know the Mystic Knight's cannon and sigil skills "synergized" like that 😲. I am glad I decided to replay Dragon's Dogma after all these years. There are a lot of things I never tried or even thought of trying back then. ❤
It only activates when an enemy is inside the sigil. Its a cyclops MELTER though. Slap 2 great cannons and a sigil down and watch the armor just drop off em and soon after they're stunned and down. Usually around then I run in and blast them with stone forest which is a NUKE of a skill

you were using abyssal anguish a lot but no mention was made of its insanity, it cloaks your sword in a hefty dark aura that will add an absurd amount of damage and stagger power to any of your blows while also making each swing hit multiple times which can elevate your greater cannon into a chaingun or just delete multiple healthbars with a singular swing into a weakspot
Use it with burst or Blink strike. the strike itself hits enemies 10-15 times based on the level of the skill. It hits so quickly that it can even break guards and stagger enemies 90% of the time. Even big ones like Cyclops and ogres. I can also repeatedly break and Ogre's guard with this combo.
The game isn't lying when it says in Arc of Deliverance description that it needs support from your pawns. Against large enemies, it's best used when they are knocked down, staggered, and offer you their weak spot to hit on. Many players first playing warrior just unleash it on some ogres toes and wonder what all the fuss is about. But charge it right or before it fell down and smack its head with it will delete health bars. Unfortunately, the warriors greatest asset is still the infamous jumping light attack.
I remember playing this game so much back in the day. That I remember the entire map in the back of my mind and would never get lost anymore even at the misty forest. I remember the cycle of monsters in bitterblack isle, their positions, and would attack them at angles they wouldn't even notice. I've replayed it to the brim that the seneschal is practically just a clone of my character.

BTW you can reduce the cast time of skills using talents or was it aspects from vocations Specifically from Sorcerer and a magic ring from the king in a quest to stop a mad wizard. Which you'll have to dupe with the black cat and give the fake to the king in two playthrough's just so you can have your pawn have it on their inventory aswell. If memory serves right you dont even have to equip it. You just have to keep it in your inventory.

the Assassins Dagger counter skill, with the skill ring for it, can one shot nearly everything in the game. and what it doesn't one shot it will two shot. aside from the final boss of Dark Arisen
My favorite has definitely always been the Ricochet hunter, nothing like taking down Elder Ogres, Eliminators and living armors on your own with a single “spell” Mystic Knight used to be my favorite class, but after exploring the Magic Archer, way cool. Only way I play through BBI 😊
Despite how much more utility every other class seems to have in this game, as a new player there’s nothing better and honestly satisfying than smashing a Cockatrice’s skull open with Deliverance as I turn to stone in the last second. I might have died, but so have you.
Ruinous sigil is also great for smacking large, downed enemies. For instance, stand right next to a downed fire drakes heart and cast the spell. Does a shocking amount of damage if the element is aligned to it's weakness, and it's very spammable. Hell, use it on a standing dragon, if you have a large enough opening- attacks that strike from below are amazing for every type of dragon but Wyverns. It's also great at locking down living armors, once their anti-magic armor is broken. you can also trigger great cannon with shield counter spells. Holy riposte is especially strong in this regard, as it hit many times very quickly. And speaking of shield counter- MK's perfect block works on everything but dragons breath and Diamons void banish vacuum thingy. This includes Exequay, if you timing is really good.
I'm always surprised people don't talk about Splinter Dart from Strider, only the splitters. Probably because the game doesn't tell you how to activate the ability properly, but it deals an absolutely ridiculous truckload of damage even if your stats are low, stunlocks even giant enemies and you can use it from range.
@@Ugly_Casanova If you just use the ability and shoot you'll get a weak explosion where the arrow lands on the ground. You have to press and hold the button to shoot as the arrow is in the air, then release the button when you want it to explode, but before it hits the ground or a target. The result is a series of about 8 explosions in a big area that deal a lot of damage.

Something interesting I learned about Great Cannon is it acts as a target for Bolide, so if you have a sorcerer pawn and want more meteors to land, slap one down and it'll attract a few extra explosions while firing bolts every time it's hit.
I am actually loving the vocations. Each time I start to get over the class I just switch and enjoy a different style. As for being sick I am just slightly congested. Was in a lake the other day and it did a number on me. But I feel fine otherwise. Thanks for asking!
Instant reset will always be the best skill in my book. Its an instant recovery whenever you get hit, you can use it with other skills to increase mobility, you can use it to skip the lantern animation. The versatility of it is nearly infinite.
Skull Splitter and all its relevant Upgrades negate fall DMG, if you move to the edge and activate the skill whilst still moving to the edge you will skull splitter off and land safely. Make sure not to JUMP off the edge otherwise you will take DMG, Its essential when playing Strider and Is so versatile.
Dragons Dogma left a lasting impression on me years ago. I’ve always thought it has a special kind of magic. I’ve picked it up again to play on Steam deck and it’s awesome. This time round I’m determined to max out all the vocations and try everything. I love games that are deep and varied with levelling and progression, Dragons Dogma offers this in spades. Constantly allowing you to switch up playing styles keeps things fresh and intuitive. It’s still a joy to play even after multiple play throughs
There is secret synergy between magic canon and bolide, magic canon becomes bolide target when it's released so 1 main Mystick Knight and 3 Sorcerers are gonna wrought destructions
I think I'm about level 38, right about when the fat guy gets put on trial and you get the mission, and sometimes I think I do too little damage for some reason. I consciously picked Magic Archer because I looked up it was the most damaging class, but for the most part, I never seem to do like, a fraction of an inch on most bosses' hp bars, and that's using special attacks like the magic arrow that splits into a circle of small magic arrows that then bombard the target. Maybe it's because I like to wander around and find some enemies that are too tough, but I always feel like I'm underpowered for anything except at the very first area. My complaint isn't that I lose, it's that fights take A LOT of time even if I mostly win. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I think one of the slight problems you might be having is that stat growth is determined by the class you level as. So weirdly to get a powerful magick archer I think you need to play as Sorcerer for a quite a few levels. Because that levels your magick strength. Apparently there is some end game gear that adds so much in particular stats that you can change class and what you have been playing as doesn't matter so much. I would recommend picking a class you enjoy. I picked strider then switched to Assassin. Now I have nearly mastered Assassin probably gonna switch back to Strider finish mastering it then move on to Ranger. Gouge on Assassin is pretty ridiculous. I jump onto a cyclops or ogre and start gouging away and it's dead before I know it. I use daggers for most enemies but use a sword for the big boys.
HunderdKisses/ThousandKisses & Instant Reset clears this entire list. Reset cancels every recovery animation to always remain at plus frames and can be used to perform combos.
Don't need magic peraipits as a Magick archer. Equip magic rebalancer on your daggers, they function the same and stack, pop the skill 5 times and let go with your bow. You'll be able to melt death easy.
Here is a tip for magick knight if you have a mage pawn you can train them to activate your cannon First equip them with only 1 skill I think it's called mantissa it creates a bubble and anything that enters will be positioned Now when in battle put your cannon inside the bubble when it is cast as the bubble can also trigger the cannon not as fast as hitting but is automatic Repeat this with your pawn and you will teach your pawn this interaction and they will start putting the bubble on the cannon whenever they get a chance now you can go and do your own thing as the cannon does some nice passive damage it is a small increase in damage 2 orbs per activation every half second a cannon for max of 3 cannons
Ranger has an Arc of Deliverance (deadly arrow) but when timed it deals good dmg also from ranger is corkscrew arrow when used with blast arrow it continues to penetrate into the spot saving on having to use 10 blast just use 1
Some less flashy but arguably more crucial skills would include; Hundred Kisses (Strider already gets bonus climbing speed and damage by default), Exodus slash (Warrior's only source of I-frames), Magic Rebalancer (weightless, free Demon/mage's periapts for Magic Archer), Instant Reset (a true lifesaver for any of the yellow vocations). There are also some comically broken augments in the game. For example; Opportunism and adhesion on a strider (If you can climb it, it is as good as dead). Hell, some combos of augments can make your character basically immortal (though you have to keep your HP in the red and the screen effect can be obnoxious).
One of the funniest things you can do with Ricochet Hunter is to stack up on Demon's Periapt and Magick Rebalancer and throw a couple of Ricochet Hunters in a room full of goblins in BBI You will kill everything but the Shamans, which will be bouncing around for around 30s at full health bc they have almost 100% magic resist Also, you can ragdoll Death to... Well, to death. You can even completely kill him without him even noticing you are there. Bloodless Stockade is the best place to do so
just bought my steam deck and definitely cant wait to play it again on there. remember picking up the game on the switch years ago, had a hard time in the beginning but once you get used to it there is a lot of fun to be had.
Magic knight with "articulate" augment (you get it playing as a sorcerer. Speeds up casting) AND wyrmkings ring (speeds it up even faster) then pair perilous sigil, with great cannon. Stand inside the sigil while casting so enemies can't touch you while casting. Anything weak to magic will be WRECKED lmao.
I want to add the high spellscreen from the mage class is litteraly the most op ability that make you invincible both from ccs and from statuses and from any type of damage while also increasing the resistance literally one of the best
personally the class with the most beautiful skill is sorcerer ( Maelstrom, high Gicel, seism, bolide, high cosmetion etc ) But anyway u made me fell like i didn't know this game at all even if i played it so many time. Good video
You have a point. Sorcerer is the most flashy and I think the spells make you deal good damage even if you aren't high-level. Maelstrom is just beautiful as you can lock enemies in place while casting another spell. Nothing will ever be as awesome as a giant tornado.

Pretty good list man, im suprised you didn't mention magick rebalancer since it's literally free periapts and you can stack it though I can see if you didnt mention it because its not a raw damage skill. I'm also not sure if you've gotten the brain splitter ring yet but you should definitely try it, its quite the upgrade from skull splitter, its actually just unfair.
Arc of deliverance is good but slow to load up the ball, oh and also if the weapon has some magical power in your weapon, you can apply it more easily given the gigantic damage, and something he forgot to mention depends on the damage of the weapon, if you have a weapon with very high damage, you can reach hit kill some bosses with it
This is a weird one but I would out the torpor spell with the hat that buffs sigil. You can literally timestop any monster for about 7 seconds if you spam it enough. And theyll be really slow aswell. Makes fights much easier and you can cast a powerful spell while theyre timestopped
@@SheenShots you can easily farm cursed black item from killing Diamon. Just be a ranger and equip tenfold arrows and then bring 2 liquid vim and 8 conqueror perriapt and tons of blast arrows. Don't forget to save checkpoint before going in. Just skip everything and head straight to the boss. Rince and repeat if you don't get the items you want through loading your checkpoint save.
First time player. Got the game about a week ago. I started with fighter, and out of the 3 I've tried it's my favorite. It's Super fun and keeps you moving. I then went warrior. Its Super simple and easy to play and not much to worry about and it's attacks are op and fun to look at. Currently on mystic knight. Like fighter the attacks are fun and adding magic to them is awesome but going from fighters shield parry and bash style with quick slashes to MK magic parry system slows me down. I find myself not using the shield as much. Its my least favorite of the 3 I've tried. It's good but I catch myself casting the ground sigil spell and magic cannon on repeat. The ground sigil amazing. My favorite to use. The MK is cool but Its not my over all play style.
I tried these skills and they are still not powerful. I am between Level 79 and 80 and still not strong enough and not enough room and power… how do I make them melt down health the way you showed?
Fun fact There's another skill for the Warrior vocation called "Arc of Vengeance" or something along those lines that basically lets you take damage and store it up for a massive counter attack But there's a neat, if situational, thing that you can do with that ability. If you use Arc of Vengeance while inside a certain instant kill spell certain enemies can use, not only will you actually survive the attack, but if you land the hit afterwards, you do instant kill damage to any enemy that's unlucky enough to be in the way of your weapon. I learned about this a while ago and I don't remember if this specific part is true or not, but I think I saw a video where someone used Arc of Vengeance to kill Death in one hit after surviving the slash from it's scythe EDIT: just looked for it, what I saw was a warrior using that instant kill spell from a mimic enemy to store up the damage to one shot Death from behind while it was busy using it's scythe attack
When you duplicate duke Edmunds ring in the story and give him the forgery one it states it allows for quicker magick or spell casting but i think thats a miss typo because i have it on me all the time and the spell bar still goes up as normal i dont see quicker spell casting
I just have to say that any skill of yhe magic vocation can be op due to the hidden mechanic of simultaneous casting. Where if you have a pawn that has the same skill when one of you casts that skill, and the other one casts it also you the one who casts 2nd will share the same gauge as the first one.
Idk why but I always get annoyed when someone says you should jump to stop your single shot before doing holy focused bolt, like literally all you have to do is start holding the button down while youre doing the animation of putting the boon on your staff, and then just start holding the button again as soon as you let go for each shot after that, it's not only faster, but it also doesn't ruin your really cool gameplay captures by making you look like an idiot, not to mention who cares if you have 1 regular shot come out before your focused bolt
Its perfectly fine that you don't enjoy doing that, but jumping is the better tactic so you have to understand that others are going to use it. Obviously most of us care about the 1 shot that's why most of us jump. People play differently.

I always play warrior and exodus slash is my favorite, if you get the timing down it will negate all damage magic or melee. I agree with you that the arc is op if you can get a living armor near a ledge and hit em with it, they'll go into the pit and die before magic buffing🙂
Sorcerer usually does extremely high damage with its skills yes. But that's because the cast time is extremely high. So its not nearly as efficient all the time. Also, some of the sorcerers skills are really big and do high damage, but hard to actually use in combat. Like Bolide. High Gicel is freaking great though. That is probably my favorite sorcerer spell.
I was playing an assassin, thinking it the boss deleter, until I saw your video ranking the classes. I swapped strider and maxed out the vocation and holy hell... I destroy everything!

There is an armor set from bitterblack isle that grants health regen. I like that for my tankier builds. For magic archer I always run the chestplate you can get over in the moonbeem gem doors. great magick boost and looks awesome. I did find a bandit bandana type of thing I used most of the game. Its got some teeth looking markings on it and looks awesome.
Just bought dead island 2 for 50$ (on sale), it was ok. Then I grabbed this because it was 4$ and I am having a blast. It's funny how things work out sometimes
Wanna cheese the game away? Just equip Sanctuary and other def up when near death augments and virtually every attack will deal 1 damage when your HP is low. Add atk up when near death augments and you'll pulverize everything.
I think there’s a lot of skills better than arc of deliverance. It has a lot of negatives and only 1 positive. - Massive vulnerability - Long charge up time - Big stamina usage - Almost no versatility(mainly against larger monsters such as cyclops whose singular weak point is high up) - big damage It’s a powerful skill and is fun to use however I think there are a lot of other skills that outmatch it. Unfortunately my 2 favourite classes to play (fighter and warrior) suck ass. Hopefully they fix this in dd2 so mêlée classes are on par with ranged and magic classes.
Magick Rebalancer. Or as I prefer to call it, Magick Unbalancer. You basically get Demon Periapts for free. I killed Awakened Daimon with this in 5 volleys.

My favorite has definitely always been the Ricochet hunter, nothing like taking down Elder Ogres, Eliminators and living armors on your own with a single “spell” Mystic Knight used to be my favorite class, but after exploring the Magic Archer, way cool. Only way I play through BBI 😊
Despite how much more utility every other class seems to have in this game, as a new player there’s nothing better and honestly satisfying than smashing a Cockatrice’s skull open with Deliverance as I turn to stone in the last second.

7 years later, still discovering new build/synergy.
Ruinous sigil is also great for smacking large, downed enemies. For instance, stand right next to a downed fire drakes heart and cast the spell. Does a shocking amount of damage if the element is aligned to it's weakness, and it's very spammable. Hell, use it on a standing dragon, if you have a large enough opening- attacks that strike from below are amazing for every type of dragon but Wyverns. It's also great at locking down living armors, once their anti-magic armor is broken.
you can also trigger great cannon with shield counter spells. Holy riposte is especially strong in this regard, as it hit many times very quickly. And speaking of shield counter- MK's perfect block works on everything but dragons breath and Diamons void banish vacuum thingy. This includes Exequay, if you timing is really good.
I'm always surprised people don't talk about Splinter Dart from Strider, only the splitters. Probably because the game doesn't tell you how to activate the ability properly, but it deals an absolutely ridiculous truckload of damage even if your stats are low, stunlocks even giant enemies and you can use it from range.
And how to properly use it?
@@Ugly_Casanova If you just use the ability and shoot you'll get a weak explosion where the arrow lands on the ground. You have to press and hold the button to shoot as the arrow is in the air, then release the button when you want it to explode, but before it hits the ground or a target. The result is a series of about 8 explosions in a big area that deal a lot of damage.

Something interesting I learned about Great Cannon is it acts as a target for Bolide, so if you have a sorcerer pawn and want more meteors to land, slap one down and it'll attract a few extra explosions while firing bolts every time it's hit.

I am actually loving the vocations. Each time I start to get over the class I just switch and enjoy a different style. As for being sick I am just slightly congested. Was in a lake the other day and it did a number on me. But I feel fine otherwise. Thanks for asking!
Instant reset will always be the best skill in my book. Its an instant recovery whenever you get hit, you can use it with other skills to increase mobility, you can use it to skip the lantern animation. The versatility of it is nearly infinite.
Dire Gouge is a ability ALL assassins need, it is really powerful

Lol I just had to.
Skull Splitter and all its relevant Upgrades negate fall DMG, if you move to the edge and activate the skill whilst still moving to the edge you will skull splitter off and land safely. Make sure not to JUMP off the edge otherwise you will take DMG, Its essential when playing Strider and Is so versatile.
Arc of Vengeance deserves to be next to deliverance. It can counter Deaths' or any other instant kill spell and damage in general

Dragons Dogma left a lasting impression on me years ago. I’ve always thought it has a special kind of magic. I’ve picked it up again to play on Steam deck and it’s awesome. This time round I’m determined to max out all the vocations and try everything. I love games that are deep and varied with levelling and progression, Dragons Dogma offers this in spades. Constantly allowing you to switch up playing styles keeps things fresh and intuitive. It’s still a joy to play even after multiple play throughs
Nothing more satisfying than dropping an Arc of Deliverance on a certain traitorous duke.
There is secret synergy between magic canon and bolide, magic canon becomes bolide target when it's released so 1 main Mystick Knight and 3 Sorcerers are gonna wrought destructions

Magick Archer is one of my favorite classes but to get the right stats you have to play as a sorcerer for most of the game since the stats level suck
It's really not that bad. Ultimately, it will not make a big of a difference, for what you won't one shot, you'll deal with in two shots anyway.
I played as sorcerer only until level 10 and then went direct for MA
It's really fun and still able to take enemies really fast 😊
I think I'm about level 38, right about when the fat guy gets put on trial and you get the mission, and sometimes I think I do too little damage for some reason. I consciously picked Magic Archer because I looked up it was the most damaging class, but for the most part, I never seem to do like, a fraction of an inch on most bosses' hp bars, and that's using special attacks like the magic arrow that splits into a circle of small magic arrows that then bombard the target. Maybe it's because I like to wander around and find some enemies that are too tough, but I always feel like I'm underpowered for anything except at the very first area.
My complaint isn't that I lose, it's that fights take A LOT of time even if I mostly win. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I think one of the slight problems you might be having is that stat growth is determined by the class you level as. So weirdly to get a powerful magick archer I think you need to play as Sorcerer for a quite a few levels. Because that levels your magick strength. Apparently there is some end game gear that adds so much in particular stats that you can change class and what you have been playing as doesn't matter so much. I would recommend picking a class you enjoy. I picked strider then switched to Assassin. Now I have nearly mastered Assassin probably gonna switch back to Strider finish mastering it then move on to Ranger. Gouge on Assassin is pretty ridiculous. I jump onto a cyclops or ogre and start gouging away and it's dead before I know it. I use daggers for most enemies but use a sword for the big boys.
HunderdKisses/ThousandKisses & Instant Reset clears this entire list. Reset cancels every recovery animation to always remain at plus frames and can be used to perform combos.
Instant reset is a ridiculously good skill. I left it off because it has a different use than other skills, but its easily one of the best.
I like to use Skull/Brain Splitter in conjunction with Instant Reset and double jump to reach slightly higher areas than regularly possible.
Talk about shredding health bars.
Don't need magic peraipits as a Magick archer. Equip magic rebalancer on your daggers, they function the same and stack, pop the skill 5 times and let go with your bow. You'll be able to melt death easy.
Here is a tip for magick knight if you have a mage pawn you can train them to activate your cannon
First equip them with only 1 skill I think it's called mantissa it creates a bubble and anything that enters will be positioned
Now when in battle put your cannon inside the bubble when it is cast as the bubble can also trigger the cannon not as fast as hitting but is automatic
Repeat this with your pawn and you will teach your pawn this interaction and they will start putting the bubble on the cannon whenever they get a chance now you can go and do your own thing as the cannon does some nice passive damage it is a small increase in damage 2 orbs per activation every half second a cannon for max of 3 cannons
the spell is Miasma, and it works with Sorcerer or Mage Pawns, you can get them to do it with Maelstrom too
If DD got this much love when it came out, we'd be at DD 3-4 by now! :) (not sure that would be good or bad though LOL)
I used a lot of Immolation and the ricochet hunter, pretty awesome

They obliterate everything.
Ranger has an Arc of Deliverance (deadly arrow) but when timed it deals good dmg also from ranger is corkscrew arrow when used with blast arrow it continues to penetrate into the spot saving on having to use 10 blast just use 1
Some less flashy but arguably more crucial skills would include; Hundred Kisses (Strider already gets bonus climbing speed and damage by default), Exodus slash (Warrior's only source of I-frames), Magic Rebalancer (weightless, free Demon/mage's periapts for Magic Archer), Instant Reset (a true lifesaver for any of the yellow vocations).
There are also some comically broken augments in the game. For example; Opportunism and adhesion on a strider (If you can climb it, it is as good as dead). Hell, some combos of augments can make your character basically immortal (though you have to keep your HP in the red and the screen effect can be obnoxious).
The new greatsword stance is badass
One of the funniest things you can do with Ricochet Hunter is to stack up on Demon's Periapt and Magick Rebalancer and throw a couple of Ricochet Hunters in a room full of goblins in BBI
You will kill everything but the Shamans, which will be bouncing around for around 30s at full health bc they have almost 100% magic resist
Also, you can ragdoll Death to... Well, to death. You can even completely kill him without him even noticing you are there. Bloodless Stockade is the best place to do so
Never felt more like a Badass than one-shotting that Griffin with Arc of Deliverance when it attacked the cart.
I have yet to be able to do this, but I really want to. Saw someone try it and it was glorious.
just bought my steam deck and definitely cant wait to play it again on there. remember picking up the game on the switch years ago, had a hard time in the beginning but once you get used to it there is a lot of fun to be had.
I woud add high Malestorm.
It can clean a huge area of enemy's and even immobilize and damage bosses, it it Gan get lifted by it its allready dead.
One of the skills I never take off of Sorcerer.
I really hope warrior gets 6 skills in dragons dogma 2 and a skill that you can use while grappling monster, similar to scarlet kisses/dire gouge
they did that for dragon's dogma online, so there's no reason they would roll back on a universally loved change like that

Magic knight with "articulate" augment (you get it playing as a sorcerer. Speeds up casting) AND wyrmkings ring (speeds it up even faster) then pair perilous sigil, with great cannon. Stand inside the sigil while casting so enemies can't touch you while casting. Anything weak to magic will be WRECKED lmao.
I want to add the high spellscreen from the mage class is litteraly the most op ability that make you invincible both from ccs and from statuses and from any type of damage while also increasing the resistance literally one of the best
Some of those spells you can cast which summon pools of something are really useful. I like them quite a bit actually.

personally the class with the most beautiful skill is sorcerer ( Maelstrom, high Gicel, seism, bolide, high cosmetion etc )

You have a point. Sorcerer is the most flashy and I think the spells make you deal good damage even if you aren't high-level. Maelstrom is just beautiful as you can lock enemies in place while casting another spell. Nothing will ever be as awesome as a giant tornado.

Pretty good list man, im suprised you didn't mention magick rebalancer since it's literally free periapts and you can stack it though I can see if you didnt mention it because its not a raw damage skill. I'm also not sure if you've gotten the brain splitter ring yet but you should definitely try it, its quite the upgrade from skull splitter, its actually just unfair.
Arc of deliverance is good but slow to load up the ball, oh and also if the weapon has some magical power in your weapon, you can apply it more easily given the gigantic damage, and something he forgot to mention depends on the damage of the weapon, if you have a weapon with very high damage, you can reach hit kill some bosses with it

Few things have given me the satisfaction of fighting death in a sewer tunnel and popping ricochet hunter
This is a weird one but I would out the torpor spell with the hat that buffs sigil. You can literally timestop any monster for about 7 seconds if you spam it enough. And theyll be really slow aswell. Makes fights much easier and you can cast a powerful spell while theyre timestopped

you can just hold your attackk button after realising the bolt, it would instantly charge without attack animation
I hope warrior in DD2 will have a good mobility or added dodge roll.. It's the only game with Berserk feel to it aside from souls games.

What about Arc of Obliteration? This is the upgraded version of Arc of Deliverance. Can be gain by equipping a warrior ring with said skill.
If I ever get the darn thing I will use it. But the RNG has not blessed me yet.
@@SheenShots you can easily farm cursed black item from killing Diamon. Just be a ranger and equip tenfold arrows and then bring 2 liquid vim and 8 conqueror perriapt and tons of blast arrows. Don't forget to save checkpoint before going in. Just skip everything and head straight to the boss. Rince and repeat if you don't get the items you want through loading your checkpoint save.

how to turn of the cut scene when you kill the chimera snake and when your pawn grab a monster
First time player. Got the game about a week ago. I started with fighter, and out of the 3 I've tried it's my favorite. It's Super fun and keeps you moving. I then went warrior. Its Super simple and easy to play and not much to worry about and it's attacks are op and fun to look at. Currently on mystic knight. Like fighter the attacks are fun and adding magic to them is awesome but going from fighters shield parry and bash style with quick slashes to MK magic parry system slows me down. I find myself not using the shield as much. Its my least favorite of the 3 I've tried. It's good but I catch myself casting the ground sigil spell and magic cannon on repeat. The ground sigil amazing. My favorite to use. The MK is cool but Its not my over all play style.

Actually a very fair point. It is a very ridiculous ability that sort of turns the games combat into a very simple win every time.
Holy Enchanced Focused Bolts are a game breaker... You can Chill through BBI with it at relatively low levels.
No stamina cost for an extremely high damage attack. Makes Sorcerer insanely strong.
I tried these skills and they are still not powerful. I am between Level 79 and 80 and still not strong enough and not enough room and power… how do I make them melt down health the way you showed?
Fun fact
There's another skill for the Warrior vocation called "Arc of Vengeance" or something along those lines that basically lets you take damage and store it up for a massive counter attack
But there's a neat, if situational, thing that you can do with that ability. If you use Arc of Vengeance while inside a certain instant kill spell certain enemies can use, not only will you actually survive the attack, but if you land the hit afterwards, you do instant kill damage to any enemy that's unlucky enough to be in the way of your weapon.
I learned about this a while ago and I don't remember if this specific part is true or not, but I think I saw a video where someone used Arc of Vengeance to kill Death in one hit after surviving the slash from it's scythe
EDIT: just looked for it, what I saw was a warrior using that instant kill spell from a mimic enemy to store up the damage to one shot Death from behind while it was busy using it's scythe attack

When you duplicate duke Edmunds ring in the story and give him the forgery one it states it allows for quicker magick or spell casting but i think thats a miss typo because i have it on me all the time and the spell bar still goes up as normal i dont see quicker spell casting
It is a small buff but it does help.
I have a hard time finding nonmagic skills I *don't* like in dogma, almost all of them are insane.
I just have to say that any skill of yhe magic vocation can be op due to the hidden mechanic of simultaneous casting. Where if you have a pawn that has the same skill when one of you casts that skill, and the other one casts it also you the one who casts 2nd will share the same gauge as the first one.
Idk why but I always get annoyed when someone says you should jump to stop your single shot before doing holy focused bolt, like literally all you have to do is start holding the button down while youre doing the animation of putting the boon on your staff, and then just start holding the button again as soon as you let go for each shot after that, it's not only faster, but it also doesn't ruin your really cool gameplay captures by making you look like an idiot, not to mention who cares if you have 1 regular shot come out before your focused bolt
Its perfectly fine that you don't enjoy doing that, but jumping is the better tactic so you have to understand that others are going to use it. Obviously most of us care about the 1 shot that's why most of us jump. People play differently.

I always play warrior and exodus slash is my favorite, if you get the timing down it will negate all damage magic or melee. I agree with you that the arc is op if you can get a living armor near a ledge and hit em with it, they'll go into the pit and die before magic buffing🙂

Ninefold Bolt of the mahic archer is also busted. With a few periapt you'll do almost has much as tenfold flurry with bomb arrow
One of those skills I never take off of that class. Its pretty much a staple of the vocation.

Sorcerer usually does extremely high damage with its skills yes. But that's because the cast time is extremely high. So its not nearly as efficient all the time. Also, some of the sorcerers skills are really big and do high damage, but hard to actually use in combat. Like Bolide. High Gicel is freaking great though. That is probably my favorite sorcerer spell.

I was playing an assassin, thinking it the boss deleter, until I saw your video ranking the classes. I swapped strider and maxed out the vocation and holy hell... I destroy everything!
Strider is crazy as heck lol. That skull splitter makes the game completely different.
@SheenShots ya I was lucky, the first gear 3 I purified was a striders band, so I'm running around with brain splitter obliterating everything. I actually posted a vid showing me skipping the second half of grigori completely lol

There is an armor set from bitterblack isle that grants health regen. I like that for my tankier builds. For magic archer I always run the chestplate you can get over in the moonbeem gem doors. great magick boost and looks awesome. I did find a bandit bandana type of thing I used most of the game. Its got some teeth looking markings on it and looks awesome.

Just bought dead island 2 for 50$ (on sale), it was ok. Then I grabbed this because it was 4$ and I am having a blast. It's funny how things work out sometimes

Wanna cheese the game away? Just equip Sanctuary and other def up when near death augments and virtually every attack will deal 1 damage when your HP is low. Add atk up when near death augments and you'll pulverize everything.
Considering to sell my PS4 so I can play the sequel in the future, so I can either buy a PS5 or a gaming laptop. This game is worth it
I think there’s a lot of skills better than arc of deliverance.
It has a lot of negatives and only 1 positive.
- Massive vulnerability
- Long charge up time
- Big stamina usage
- Almost no versatility(mainly against larger monsters such as cyclops whose singular weak point is high up)
- big damage
It’s a powerful skill and is fun to use however I think there are a lot of other skills that outmatch it. Unfortunately my 2 favourite classes to play (fighter and warrior) suck ass. Hopefully they fix this in dd2 so mêlée classes are on par with ranged and magic classes.

You basically get Demon Periapts for free. I killed Awakened Daimon with this in 5 volleys.
