Installing a stage 2 pro ls cam, springs, ls7 lifters, and summit pushrods in my 6.0 budget build to get my s10 rolling. All stock bottom end but already looking forward to building another from scratch with the pro ls line of parts. Easy to understand, quality material, made in the USA by people who would buy them, and prices regular people can afford. That’s a home run.

I put the stage 1 truck cam in my 4.8 02 Sierra. Exactly as described it made a very noticeable difference in low rpm torque. For a little over $300 total and a few hours work the truck is now fun to drive. Great product line. Thank you Summit! 👍

I bought my first two Pro Ls truck camshafts In April of 2019. One in my dad’s 6.0 tow rig and one for my 5.3. I have 90,000 miles on my 8718 cam. Now I built my own turbo kit, it has 20,000 miles since the GT45 was installed. Just running on 7lb wastegate spring. Tons of fun.

Love the Summit Racing Pro LS line. Single Summit S475 turbo on a 9.5:1 compression, stock bottom end 6.0 LS - which Summit Racing Pro LS cam would you recommend?

What would truck cam, springs and lifters kit would you suggest that I would not have to change pushrods and/or the converter? Also do you all have roller rocker with the trunyon upgrades?

Would a Stage 1 SUM-8718R1 with 4.56 gears benefit from a higher stall like a 2,400-2,700 Summit Pro LS Torque Converter?

I'm trying out the Big Truck Torkinator with the .600 lift springs in my "high compression" LQ4(swapping out the 317s for 706s so compression should be ~10.5:1) with TBSS intake and 92mm TB, 50lb injectors (going to flex-fuel), and long tube headers. Is 500hp to the crank a reasonable expectation with a good tune and air induction system? It's going in a 4x4 truck so good torque off idle with a lot of midrange power is what I'm after.

Did you ever try this cam? I’m trying to decide between the torkinator and the big torkinator

Great company, best parts, best service, best phone communication BUT making parts is sort of stepping on the feet of your suppliers. Summit supplying brands is-nicer than summit having a brand that competes with the companies that made them who they are today. When i go too the supermarket and see home brands undercutting local brands it makes me not want too shop there. This behaviour SOMETIMES stems from greed because-before your home brand, you relied on your suppliers and their brands. Now you want more, and-that’s not patriotic! Nobody like those that want all the cake too themselves🎂
