They are the best! I have one that's 11 years old and in last stage of heart failure 😭.
I can't imagine life without him. This is going to be so hard for me.
@@EE-hn8cg Lolly was 13 when I had to put her down with bone cancer. The hardest thing I've ever done. But now I have Belle, and she's wonderful!

All 3 of you are adorable to watch. I’ve had Boston’s for 20 years tried the pug but I’m a lifetime Boston terrier mom. Arrows 11 years young so far very healthy. Love the daily life videos!

I have a Boston/ Boxer mix. Never realized what a sense of humor and how very funny she is. Loves parks, ducks and squirrels. Oh yeah. Never met a dog she didn't like. Or human. They are the sweetest dogs.

Awwwwwwwwwww this is such an awesome video. I actually had the same doggie combo with my two girls Olive (boston terrier) and Penny (frenchie). Sadly Penny passed away last summer at 2 years old from IVDD despite going through surgery. It really made my heart happy to see Smudge and Chewy playing and running around just like my girls. 😢

You are lucky to have Smudge and his companion come back to you, after all that running.Most Bostons, are known to be runners, and I almost did’nt catch mine when we went to the beach, at Lake Michigan.Ps-if you ever give up smudge, he’d be spoiled rotten here.

I can just see how attached that dog is to you.
I lost my girl Dixie last year unexpectedly. She was almost 13. Loved everyone and absolutely fiercely attached to me. I could walk the streets of a busy city with no leash and she would stay by me.
Just a wonderful dog that I will always miss. I have a new one that is about 7 months old.... Some days it's a challenge. I sometimes find myself expecting that same obedient dog.
I love Boston's. Such neat personalities. My Boston is allergic to chicken and once I took her off chicken she doesn't have a many stinky farts.
Mine was the reverse mine is allergic to beef now on a chicken only diet never farts

This dog breed is unreal and unlike any dog breed I have ever seen. They are extremely loyal, hyper, neurotic, and not a mean bone in them. They often prefer to play with big dogs and they keep up. They are extremely tough and can take some abuse playing with big dogs.
They also love the ball and children! They however are not for everyone. If you want a calm lapdog, scratch the Boston Terrier off the list. But if you want a high energy, loyal and neurotic dog like Marley in the movie Marley and Me, look no further!!!
I am rambling, but I took mine to the beach back in September. She was doing zoomies, she saw a kid on a board in the water. She ran full speed and dove in. She then swam to him to climb on the board. The mom said I have never seen a dog act like this, are they all like this? I said everyday is a performance with them.

Hi Nick! Nice video, as always. It covers almost everything the dogs ‘endure’ with you, lol. Maybe a small tip: consider covering your dog’s ears when flying with them. As you know they have sensitive ears and flying a prop-plane exposes them easily to 60Db. Which gives permanent damage after just 30 min. exposure. For humans, that is. Turbine choppers are even worse. There are special headset and plugs for dogs on the market. Cheers mate, atb Irwin 🦅 #StaySafe
Yes unfortunately I have tried Mutt Muffs ($60) and tested with mics inside the Muffs and they make zero difference, (in fact my test showed the aircraft noise is slightly worse for the dog with them on) there is a newer version called 4 Paws K9 Ear muffs ($90) which I have, but have not tested in the aircraft but home test show they are equally useless. Dogs totally freak out with air plugs in so that is not fair on them. I am doing all I can but so far no luck, the products are a complete joke. So I only take them on very short flights until I get a quiet aircraft.
