Zuko was of course the cute star, but I couldn't help smiling and having a warm spot in my heart when Zuko was following you with a piece of kibble at a time and Gunner was just sort of placidly observing the whole thing from his platform without being jumpy....what a good dog!! I always love his sort of dum-dee-dum-dum look

Bostons are the best little things. They're cute. Love to cuddle. Easy to train. What more could you ask for? They're like a perfect breed. Perfect with children. Small but can scare people away with they're loud freaking barks. I mean, they're the best.

That was hilarious when he jumped and took off running after the big dogs barked. The barking got both my GSD's barking, too. Zuko has some spunk.
I have had a total of 4 Boston’s in my life. I absolutely ADORE them.
Have you run into any health issues? I want to get one but I worry about their eyes and breathing 🥺
@@Daphne-lk3oe I have never had any issues with their eyes. I listen for a lot of snorting when the puppies play. They all snort some but if it is a lot then the pup may be developing breathing issues for his/her life.
@@kimlindsey5178 Oh okay, do you know how long it typically takes for signs of breathing issues to show? Like if I asked the breeder or foster if they showed signs yet, would it even be helpful (meaning would they be too young to tell if they’ll have issues yet)? Sorry if this is a difficult question I just want to make sure my dog is healthy, our last dog died at 8 due to cancer, and I would like my parents to have our next doggy as long as possible 🥺 (it’ll probably be the last dog they get)
@@Daphne-lk3oe I don’t mind at all. I would say, especially for a breeder, ask to see the paperwork on the mother & father of the puppy. SEE the parents! Of you go see the puppies, the mother is probably there. Observe the mom. Is she snorting? Does she seem to have a lot of redness around her eyes? Any reputable breeder SHOULD “warranty” the puppy’s health. Take the pup to your trusted vet & have them give the dog a thorough of exam as possible.
With rescues, your history on the dog may be more limited.
My last two Boston’s both lived to 15 & 14 respectively. The other BIG help to insure a healthy life is to give the dog high quality food! Let them run and get a ton of exercise.

Boston terrier is the boss does circles around every other breed of dogs and that's proven fact my x G/F has a terrier he's so athletic other dogs get tired where the Boston just keeps on going they're on another level if u ask me.

He is so precious. We have a rescue Boston/frenchie. His name is Maverick Wade. We just lost our 15 year old Bosti. His name was Boston Massachusetts, also a rescue. I love them both so very much and they have been the best “babies” ever.

My Boston loves tomatoes. I once took him to my dad's and we left him alone while we ran an errand, and when we came back he had stolen a huge heirloom tomato the size of half a grapefruit off the dinner table and was 3/4 done eating it.

I've got an 11 month old Boston right now, I had an 18 year old 3 years ago. She was my first one, and my heart, and rotten and one of the best I've ever had. This one is to smart and stubborn. She has that same little spot on her head like yours does. By the way I love dogs and cats and have had a minagery of all kinds of animals living together with no problems. Big, little, feathers, reptiles, marsupials. We could learn something from them.

OMG. I had a Boston terrier names Lucy Beane. She grew up with me and even protected me from a pitbull attack (not against pitties, it was an accident. I'm just stating the breed for size reference!) She was amazing. Oh my God I miss her so much. She passed from breast cancer ;-; she was an amazing dog, friend, mother, and soul
