Not really "authentic ghetto" more like messy and unorganized. I get what you mean but even pictures of Kanye in his room are much more organized than this, this looks like a janitors closet
Much respect to Oh, one of my personal favorite producers and hands down one of the underrated ones too. From being part of Stones throw to making beats for Talib Kweli, Danny Brown, and many more. Shitt even making music for GTAV. One of the finest from the Westcoast forget Dj Mustard.
Hey its that dude that replied on my comment way back when ! Anyways, I feel you guys v.v dude is hella wack, I don't understand how he "stands out" from other producers, first he adapts sounds from Atlanta & Bay area I understand that, but making the same beat more than once with three keys and a annoying chant, while dudes like Oh who actually seems dedicated kick dust. It sucks..

They say Ke a go rata e bile ke batla go bua le wena. (This mean they like you very much.)
regardless of how you feel about the finished product, the idea to use nintendo 64 games is super creative. once he threw that little chopped guitar riff in there my head started nodding
man i totally remember playing nascar on n64 and hearing that blues guitar riff countless times when i was a young bull. it was so dope to see that on rhthym roulette. big ups!!
Ryan Q Thanks bro. I actually already have an interface. I use it ran through my speakers and with my guitar but I had no idea there was a way you could also run it through a TV/video game somehow.
I dont know what you guys are dissing. For me, listening to what he had to use for samples i was impressed and as far as the beat itself, it works for me. I can easily hear that beat getting ripped on by a sick spitter.
Now this man... you can truly call UNDERRATED. amazing skills. Just like Black Milk never being mentionend with the greats like madlib dilla preemo rza havoc finesse alchemist 9th nottz and so on...
I like the video game concept for the sample flips in this! Great stuff, meaning that you can sample from ANYTHING! I'm a big kid at heart too as I have a PS4 on deck! You gotta love those video games!... We know the beat was nowhere near the best, but we know Oh No has the skills! He did what he could with what he picked! Still a great series!
I like the concept to this one. I wouldn't expect someone sampling games, plus it increases the chance that you can end up getting something difficult. Overall the beat wasn't garbage, but you have to work with what you got. I've seen worst with producers sampling vinyl.
Word! I love when video game samples are used. Dude was nice with the Guile theme he made for Triumvir. Sidenote: Is it an unspoken rule for all producers' studios to be junky and dirty.
He kinda looks like Joe Budden. Also, love how he smoothly just kinda forgets about adding the sound from the NES cart ;) then again, dude faced like 5 blunts at least in this whole video.
I fucking lost it when he couldn't get back in the ring with that wrestling game. I always hated that shit with video games...I could never figure out how to get back in the ring! Also...this dude is fucking hilarious. Holy shit.
Bruhh that setup is so ghetto and i love it, it’s so scatterbrain just like sampling is, just throw stuff in there and see what you can build, the piano tucked in there with just a couple keys showing and available for use so if you need more you have to pull it out, I remember this being one of my favorite rhythm roulette video
Usually it was RCA wires, so just use the white and red cable. Yellow cable is for video. You could sample into a DJ mixer or with two 1/8th seperate to a 1/4 inch cable. Or just sample mono with a 1/8 to 1/8 into a mixer or your mic plug in the back of most ol desktops.
This might be the realist shit i ever seen making beats. The mouse on leg, the keyboard shoved under the shelf. Authentically ghetto as fuck.
fr tho

Third rule of sampling: Get copyright clearance before monetizing.

How can I sample audio from my ps2? I have a Numark PT01 USB portable turntable.
