It's been a while but Barrys Back! And he is returning to the format that first introduced him to the unsuspecting world.... Rhythm Roulette!
In this sequel to the Original Barry ventures to one of his favourite places in Cornwall. The wonderful Pool Market. This time donning a trusty welding mask Barry plucks 3 random records from 3 equally random stalls. Spoiler alert... He wasn't as lucky with his picks as in the previous effort where he scored a Hair ST.
Barry then returns to his cosy garden studio to check out his selections. Expect much flicking, chopping, programming, scratching, head nodding and tea drinking. It was touch and go with Barrys rather underwhelming selections but in the end he did good with not one but 2 beats.

A very slept on sample based beatmaker. 1- it doesnt take much to get him going. 2- he transforms the source into something it barely suggested. 3- he makes stuff more original than most non-sampling musicians.

Love that the "official" Rhythm Roulette is usually somebody just looping a 1 or 2 bar sample and putting any old drums over it, and here's Barry making full tracks out of bric-a-brac records. Great to see you back, Barry!
