Could you imagine what would happen to the pharmaceutical companies stocks if everyone in the world just stated walking for a half a mile a day.

Best of luck to Jeff. I can relate to becoming paralyzed with trying to find the perfect workout and I am so glad that I just decided one day many years ago to start with walking. I explored other fitness avenues as I gained momentum with weight loss. I kinda think momentum is the perfect workout if that makes sense. You want your workouts to evolve with time and the key is to just keep going.

Absolutely. Jeff is one of MANY who struggle with this. It’s not abnormal. So maybe there is some comfort in that. Momentum as a workout is a cool way to look at it. I like that!

Great video. I'm 62 and use Kettlebells and several Deadlift variations to stay strong.

2:31 “But we have to start somewhere. And the first place to start is being consistent and taking initiative and doing that over and over and over and over again until it just becomes something you do.”
That statement serves as the death of ‘analysis paralysis’. Thank you for that.

Motivation needs commitment. Lent was my catalyst that created a 5-day/week kettlebell habit.

A super positive, honest video. Amazing brother. It's really the small things in life. And focusing on something simple is just one of the most powerful acts you can do.
At one point when I was younger, I was having a trouble feeling useful, and having purpose. Felt so disorganized, and that if I couldn't get my shit together, how could I help anyone else?
In response to this, I volunteered to go do trail restoration work on the Pacific Crest Trail. There, I got some great advice from the local volunteer foreman. He said, "One of the best habits you can develop is if you're getting up to go somewhere else, look around and see if there's something you can carry with you." That advice sounds too simple, but all of the sudden you find yourself just... staying present and instantly become more clean and organized. And from there, as you said, is where it starts, and the rest just blooms if you stick with it. Great message!

Solid assessment and contribution. Feeling useful is a real struggle for people in the modern world. Especially kids. Finding that place with solving your own problems could be a good place to start.

That’s awesome my friend. Walking should definitely be near the top of basic exercise. It’s a lost art! Doctor Leo Marvin’s book Baby Steps is a testament to true progress.

I think that’s why I wanted to respond in this way. I think a lot of people give themselves a lot of crap because they don’t understand why they don’t take action. Everyone does this at some point. It’s fairly common. Take note of it and just start something!

I’ve gotten back in the gym in February. I’ve lost 35lb and started getting back in shape and building strength. I’ve recently gotten interested in kettlebells. Is it ok and beneficial to do kettle bell swings every day? Or do you need to take a break or rest from kettlebell swings? I’ve recently found your channel and subscribed. Thanks for any feedback or advice and thanks for your content. I’m enjoying it and learning. - Drew

I think it’s perfectly fine to do kettlebell swings daily. I did 100 a day for year at one point. Mixing up the sets and reps. And weight. Just keep your core tight and stay focused. Take breaks when needed. Get after it!
