you do realize that these tyoes of phones are made for durability right? sure glass but unless you're so careless cracking wont be an issue, I had the iphone 4 for a few years and dropped it many times not a single crack on the glass

5.5 is the perfect balance for 1 hand use and gaming
Note 3 is still my favorite smartphone I've ever owned. I loved its swappable battery and it lasted me 4 years before I swapped to the Note 8.

I just love that wide 16:10 aspect ratio of the original Note! Phones are getting bigger screens these days by making them taller but narrow. I feel like the width is much more crucial to making the phone more of a tablet feel and that was the concept of the first Note to make it like a small tablet rather than just blown up smartphone. That's something they have lost down the road unfortunately.

Owning now Note 5 and 8 after owning note 4 for almost 3 years I still think Note 4 was the peak of the Note series in many ways especially hardware wise. You nailed it when you said that it has moved from a productivity tool to a fashion statement.

I remember when I first got the Galaxy Note and everyone was saying it was too big and they would never buy a phone with such a large screen. We were ahead of the curve back in the days.

I bought one a week ago in a poor state and rehoused it with a new screen. It looks new! I love it because it reminds me of what I had. I loved android and it’s ability to root and change the launcher! I never tired of its adaptability.
Then Samsung changed and I lost out with them.. I turned to Apple which in comparison is boring, however it’s safer than android. Or it’s was!! I recently spent a week with my old phone the HTC HD.. The phone was so slow but those memories again. I guess in lockdown I’ve become overly sentimental! I just love tinkering with OS and taking them apart.. So easy.
How was this phone only 7 years ago. Smartphones have come so far. Great work Arun👊

Bought it when it released....Still works compared to other ones...Kinda serves as a tablet now...but for the price I paid..Still the phone is alive. Superb build.
My uncle gave me this phone a few months for installing the software, I installed Lollipop in it, it works great! 👍

My second phone! It replaced a Galaxy S Captivate, which I really loved. I prefer using phones one-handed, so the Note was a bit of a pain for me to use. I passed it on to my mom when I got a Galaxy S4, but got it back when she bought the Note 4.

I remember dropping over $600 on an import from Amazon. I went to a Ghost Armor stand at a local mall and the guy was calling his friend to have him come over and look at it. They couldn't get over the size of it. I loved it at the time.
Man, that's how much I missed the Options key, while I have gotten used to the Recents key and pressing the 3-dot icon on the top corner, that was a damn legend of Android phones back then.
I only had to get used to it when I was forced to switch to the Oppo R5, then the S6 and now S9+.
