Been following you guys for a while and it is always a pleasure to watch your content. What makes this channel so special is the consistency in their filming, you know that their sights are always zeroed in, that they have multiple "fresh" targets for each bullet making their target testing a lot more scientific, the slo-mo camera and general attention to details. Thank you for making such a quality content.

A longer rifled insert with .17 hmr would be some serious stopping power. Cone shape on the end of the insert so the barrel length have a slight difference would prevent the gas expansion from affecting the trajectories of some of the rounds.

    I wouldn't recommend firing a 40mm grenade from a rifle with a folding stock.

You could use the 12ga. as a master key in urban combat, though I hasten to add that an actual shotgun would be more effective. The .410 could probably mess someone up very short range. Same with the .22LR. I'd almost say keep it to less than 10 meters.

100 foot pounds ( rough estimate for .22lr ,with that barrel length )of pressure x 12 is 12,000 foot pounds , it's possibly more than that. X18 is roughly 18,000 ft lbs. If the mounting slipped rearward ,it would hit like a sledge hammer.over sized projectiles could cause a long enough delay to build up pressure ,force the clamp to slip or sheers a rail , and smash. Good thing you weren't injured .
