- OUR THROTTLE CABLE SNAPPED AND IT WAS CHEAPER TO REPLACE ENTIRE SET THEN TO REPLACE JUST THE CABLE BY ITSELF. IF YOU LOOK AROUND ONLINE, SOMETIMES YOU CAN FIND A BETTER DEAL. MORAL OF THE STORY; DON'T BUY THE FIRST THING YOU SEE OR NEED, SHOP AROUND. CHEERS.

Just bought one of these for $100 bucks it’s just rusted in a couple areas & the handles need to be tightened haven’t tried to run it just yet ! I appreciate this video incase I need to do this also ‼️😎

you skipped very key moments like how you got new cable end back on after you cut it.
The little bead that he cut off doesn't go on there. It stays off
You can crimp the end or solder it so it doesn’t fray. But the little ball at the end that comes on replacement throttles won’t fit through the holes in the throttle mechanism on minibikes
@@Flockingtheherd so it’s okay to leave off? Would soldering it be a good idea?
@@jasonvoorhees2767 you have to cut it off to insert it through the tube. Once it’s through the tube you can resolder the end. I guess you don’t really have to resolder it but you do risk the twisted wire strands coming undone. If you have a soldering gun then use it, if not then it shouldn’t be the end of the world. I guess you could put a dab of cement paste on the end if you didn’t have a solder. I guess it also depends too, the throttle replacement I bought didn’t have a ball on the end so I didn’t have to cut anything off. Some replacements may come with one

They cost new around $3500 out the door but used Honda or yamaha 250cc costs around the same price. I would rather get a used dirt bike for that price than Grom. But to each it’s own I guess.
so my screw in the engine is stripped for the 212cc how do i fix that so that i can get my throttle cable in

My wire messed up when i cht
How does the throttle snap back. Mine won't. I pull it the bike revs up then when I let go it stays engaged. I have to push the throttle Lever back forward.
theres a return spring that goes in-between the barrel nut and the cable goes through the spring

Does it have a Honda or Predator engine

I believe it’s an original engine that came from the factory but it’s definitely not a Honda. It’s very similar to predator engine but slightly better in terms of ability to power the headlights.

Was your old throttle cable attached to the engine linkage or was it completely gone? Usually it should be easy and straight forward process. Maybe you’ll find “how to” videos of linkage on other channels who upload go kart video? Good luck

Евгений Приветствую Вас Сударь!Как вы?Как Ваши Дела?Да ужжж хорошо отработал тросик газа,Евгений не хочу умничать,дело то житейское,по моему надо отпустить тросик от хамутиков,которыми вы его прикрепили к раме!От него ручка газа страдает,ОПАСНО если заклинит и об забор!Ручка Газа перетирается от натяга троса,от того что вы прикрепили хамутиками.Тросик должен по идее быть свободным!Удачи

What would you class these bikes as? Mini trial bikes?? Because if i type ‘mini trials bikes’ or ‘fat cat trials bike’ in ebay, just pedal bikes are shown. So what are they called if i want to buy one?!?

These bikes are called Baja mini bikes but I think that tractor supply stopped selling them because there’s a recall on these bikes. Welds are rated for 250 pounds but adults ride them until front fork head tube snaps and they bite the dust lol.

If you’re planning on replacing your grips than maybe a thump throttle will be better for you? We had it on our ATV and it worked great. Didn’t take much effort to press throttle with my thumb. Good luck.

For some reason my kid doesn’t like thumb throttle. We have one on ATV and his little girly thumb gets tired easily.

Eh I only like them for tricks or offoad. For just cruising I use twist.
