- We'll show you how to modify your throttle cable to work with the twist throttle and carburetor combination you are using with your mini bike, motorized bike or even a motorcycle. Obviously if you purchase a cable for your specific bike you will not need the information in this video but if you are buying universal throttle parts and need help getting them to work this video may have some information to help.

Can you tell me what is the throttle grip. Both grips with the "kits," broke because they are plastic.

Safe to assume you needed a "4 inch cable moving length"? 3" on the carb side and 1" on the throttle side?
I’m not sure if I installed mine properly. When I twist I goes back to its original position but it doesn’t twist much.
Bought a chinese made gas bike kit and installed it. The only problem is that it came with a bad voltage regulator lol. might just go get a brand new throttle stick and carb now............

How on earth do I take of the cap from the elbow
If you're talking about the black rubber cap on top of the carb, you just pull it off. Give it a little twisting motion as you pull.
Can I cut the cable and repair the cable. And is there a wire clamps I can buy
We sell a cable fitting (p/n 16430) that works on the carb side of the cable.
my bikes housing came broken but the twist throttle is fine just the part that protects the cable. should i buy i new one or will this do for now
If you're planning to use it just be sure the throttle returns to the completely closed position and it doesn't get hung up.

We used BernzOmatic products. Water soluble lead free flux and silver bearing solid wire solder.

Cable too short now, I can’t twist more than 1/4 now
If the cable is too short you can cut back some of the outer housing which will allow more cable to stick out.
How the heck does the wheel come off of the metal throttle part
hey my bruva! i just upgraded my throttle & carb! i got the metal throttle! all is good! just a question id like 2 know the answer 4 please! those metal throttles where the throttle cable screws into the actual throttle theres a "ALLEN KEY HEAD LITTLE BOLT" just next to it.... WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT LITTLE FUCKN BOLT MADE 2 DO? or is it legit 4 show? 🤣🤣🤦🤦 cheers

Your not showing how to remove the wheel in the throttle. Help.
Just remove the screw that goes through the wheel and remove it. Sometimes it doesn't want to pop out very easily so we'll gently persuade it with a screwdriver being careful not to scratch or damage the wheel.

all this nonsense wasnt needed, cut the other end off measure the outer and trim close to the hole with the wheel in
If you cut the other end off you'll have to solder on a new barrel to fit inside the twist throttle assembly. Either way you're cutting, measuring and soldering.
