Ok we need one for vests at work (suede /leather etc ) I’ve had several nautica brand vests I wear around the office without a jacket and for late nights I actually used stretch straps to hold my sleeves around my elbows ( read as 1600s barkeep )
I’m glad that you mention personal upkeep and hygiene. That ‘old people’ scent begins to creep in as early as we are in our 40s. I moved thousands of miles away from relatives for a job. Finally able to visit home after 3 years, and noticed a different ‘scent’ on both my father and father-in-law. Both guys were in their 50s, so I just chalked it up to part of aging, as I’d noticed this about my grandfather years before. I did a little research, and found it was a REAL part of aging! Older people do smell differently as they age. At about age 40, the body subtly changes the way omega-7 unsaturated fatty acids on the skin are degraded. These acids get exposed to the air and create a compound called “2-nonenol.” Nonenal most likely gets produced due to hormone imbalances. These imbalances occur as people age, resulting in more lipid acid. Additionally, our skin’s natural antioxidant protection declines and results in great oxidation of lipid acid. Nonenal is then produced when lipid acid is oxidized, creating this “old people smell.” Furthermore, chronic illnesses and diseases such as diabetes, uremia, eczema, and dermatitis can add to the smell. Though present in both sexes, women tend to pay more attention to hygiene, so the ‘aroma’ isn’t as obvious. Gentlemen, it’s important to pay close attention to personal hygiene, regular laundering of clothing (including jackets), cleaning car - and home - interiors, and especially maintain your health to hold off the breakdown of one’s body. Stay healthy, stay strong!
"Since the “old people smell” is a naturally occurring result of aging, how do we address it? It certainly is never comfortable when you have to bring up one’s body odor. Fortunately, according to one study, the “old people smell” isn’t as intense as many may assume. The study states that of all age groups, a senior’s body odor was one of the least offensive amongst the demographics. During this study, each participant was given an unscented t-shirt with underarm pads to sleep in for five days. The age groups consisted of men and women from young (20 to 30 years old), middle-aged (45 to 55 years old), to seniors (75 to 95 years old). Of the age groups, the middle-aged women in the study were ranked the highest for the best smell; directly behind them was senior men. It’s tough to get rid of this odor. That’s because the fatty acids that help create the odor are not water-soluble, so it does not wash off in the shower. The reason the smell is so distinct is that the acids can easily transfer to clothing and bedding that are close to the skin, and can’t be washed off. The best way to minimize the odor is for seniors to engage in healthy lifestyles that include regular exercise, clean eating, reduced stress, and low or no tobacco or alcohol intake. Drinking plenty of water can help dilute the fatty acids and minimize their impact. Some anecdotal evidence points to Japanese persimmon extract or some varieties of green tea to help break down the compounds responsible for the smell and dissipate it more quickly. Others suggest using an organic, fine salt or sugar scrub to keep skin exfoliate and remove oils. There are a few other ways to reduce nonenal odor: Air out living areas regularly. Sometimes a senior’s environment can be warm and stuffy, which magnifies the odor. Open windows and use ventilation when possible. Wash clothing regularly. Even though the nonenal-2 molecule isn’t water-soluble, a laundry supplement designed to fight stains and cut grease may help. Make sure the bedding is clean. Air out bedding between use and regularly wash in hot water. Minimizing the smell may vary on your lifestyle and living quarters, but certain dietary and lifestyle changes may also help. Since the scent is a naturally occurring change in our body, it cannot be erased permanently. The Good News While the ‘Old Person Smell’ may be a bit musty, it’s still ranked less problematic than middle-aged body odor. In fact, people compare nonenal to the scent of cucumbers, aged beer, and old books - nothing inherently offensive. So, the next time you walk into a senior living community, retirement home, or your parents’ house, you’ll know why you smell what you smell. It’s a natural byproduct of aging, and it can’t be eliminated even with superior cleaning and dedication to personal hygiene. Franklin Park® Senior Living, with retirement communities in San Antonio, Texas, and the surrounding areas, encourages you to visit our blog for more information regarding aging and senior health."
And the counterpart is the smell of young men which seems to be strongest and most repulsive at and immediately after adolescence. There have to be feremones involved here which help women choose men of the best breeding age. Perhaps the old man smell starts when the ends of chromosomes start to deteriorate? Anyone who has such low self-esteem as to try to avoid looking their actual age is not really great breeding material anyway. Keep in mind the overall idea of our American idea of hygiene is designed by Madison Ave to sell soap & all that goes with it. It's a huge part of GNP that doesn't feed, house or educate anyone. Vanity....pfffft.
How wonderful it is to not care anymore whether people like what I wear or not. Since I stopped wanting to impress others I feel so much better. Funnily, I am more popular since. No outfit will ever compensate for an insecure character.
Future episode suggestions: 1. How to properly fold clothes 2. What to throw away when you move thousands of mile to a new home/life.(i.e. When I moved from San Francisco I kept 50% of what I had. Too much. When I moved from Bangkok I kept 40% of what I had. Also too much. When I moved from NYC I kept 15%. Too little. 25-30% is about right IMHO.)
Nowadays I actually prefer the t shirt tucked in when going out but at home I'll normally wear it untucked. I agree with all the points in this video. Appreciate the content and info as always.
Tucked/Untucked changes your body proportions, especially depending on the pants when you do tuck. You have to figure out which one works better for you, I'd say.
I've been wearing a uniform for nearly 40 years and have always had my wear dictated to me by regulations and/or necessity. Now that I've retired, I want (need) to up my game. With that being said, I have been watching your videos and am making good progress. You talk about colors and style, what to do and more importantly what not to do, but one thing I have yet to see is the subject of socks. I know this is a small detail, but I see men wearing casual clothes with and without socks. What are the guidelines for this? When is it ok to go sockless, what colors are good and what should be avoided? Thanks Antonio.
T-shirts? Depends. If wearing alone, untucked. But when you wear a short jacket over it and it hangs out below the bottom of the jacket, it starts to look like that fanny pack earlier in the video. And with a jacket, it sort of is an undershirt, so tuck it in.
The tucked in T shirt I rock quite often. I'm also tall, jacked and I have a shoulder to waist ratio of 1.75. It looks really good if you have a tapered physique.
The fanny pack has really made a resurgence and I can understand why. I use to rock mine proudly in 1993. Today we have the wallet, the keys, the personal phone, the company phone, the money clip and it’s a crying shame to see all of these bulging the back pocket AND the front pocket (even worse). The fanny pack and shoulder bags that the euro guys are wearing have become more of a practical utility accessory.
I agree. I would also add that a proper sized shoulder sling would do just as well. I would also go as far as saying not all fanny packs are stupid or bad to use. Some are definitely great quality and would be ideal for everyday use.
I wear a shoulder bag because when I go out I have to switch to and from prescription sunglasses and it's more convenient to carry my wallet in there too. It's a lot easier than carrying around a glasses case everywhere I go
I am 100% part of the tucked-in-tee gang. It creates a cleaner silhouette and shows off my relatively narrow waist. Not a good look for overweight men. Tanner Guzy is the #1 evangelist of the style.
For me, it depends: If you are thin, you can go tucked. For short and stocky guys, it does not look good. If wearing sneakers, go untucked. If wearing boots, go tucked. When wearing leather jackets, it will depend on the style of the jacket. Cafe racers, being more body-hugging, look better when the t-shirt is tucked. This is, of course, just my take on the subject, and it's based on the assumption that you are wearing a good-fitting t-shirt
My hair stylist used to ask whether I want her to trim my eyebrows. I've since given her blanket permission to trim whatever she thinks needs it. I haven't ever regretted that decision. As for grey hair, the only place I show grey is my beard. And, I do rock the salt & cayenne look (yes, I'm a ginger) because I've been told I look too young without the beard.
I enjoyed the content of this video, but what caught my eye is the U.S. flag poster with the transparent Marine's face. Awesome. Where can I get one. Also I learned a lot from the cologne video. Nice work.
Got rid of my college clothing last month mainly because I got a lot less attention when I wore them (they were from a local uni, not a rival). I'm 40 and even though I graduated 5 years ago the proof is on the results, at my age, I just can't pull them off.
Oww you got rid of the pride entirely? A better idea next time, Just frame the shirt up and hang them on the wall.. i have a nice old armani jacket as teen still got sentiment value to it. but now can't wear them so i framed and hang ‘em up, looks great!
Shoulder bags are the reason I haven’t lost/dropped my keys, wallet, or phone in many year. And they’re way more practical and aesthetically pleasing then having pockets full of all your shit. I wear them fashionably but choose ones that are practical as well.
Having long hair as you get older makes you look older. I used to have long hair and when I finally decided to cut it people told me I looked 10 years younger. I wish I had done it sooner.
This is why I use a Late Middle Ages pouch as a belt pouch. Largely the same functionality, looks way better. It does require a surrounding outfit that it works with, though.
Love your videos. I spent 8 years in the U.S. Navy and I occassionally wear some sort of Navy t-shirt or I have some velcro patches that I display on my outerwear. I try to look for unique stuff though (i.e. old WWII squadron logos, authentic emblems, etc.). How about a video on classy 'veteran styles'? I've seen some guys who really go overboard. Is there even a place for this?
Thanks for all the great advice Antonio! Recently went out and bought a jacket, some new collared shirts and pants. Got a bunch of compliments at work and at home. Gonna visit that collar and co website soon. Thanks again!
On the topic of dad clothing and the fact that current trends are showcasing relaxed-fit jeans and shirts, can you talk about how to embrace the loose-fit clothing styles ( for adults over 40 )
I'm in my 50s. Why would any guy my age want to wear loose-fit clothes? They don't flatter heavy guys, skinny guys, muscular guys, or anyone else. I prefer to stick with timeless styles and let unflattering trends pass on by.
As a rule, I don't wear tops untucked unless they were specifically built for it: guayaberas or shirt-jackets with finished hems, banded-bottom sweaters or polos, etc. In particular, i find that deel of my pants, belted against my bare skin, is uncomfortable.
wow man since yesterday I laugh, I had memories of my old man and look into my bathroom and more, and I got to say you're video has made me realize that I have no life, well I'm kidding I'm studying and trying to improve my life as well, but wow I got to say out of this has to be like the 31 videos I've seen and its been almost 3 days. I also have trouble sleeping, and study some more in between. Keep it up Sir!
I tuck most of the time because I have worked my ass off to get rid of a gut and I like seeing the progress! If I am carrying concealed, I'll go untucked because it's easier to avoid printing.
I've gone from 120 pounds overweight to 20 pounds overweight, and while I still have a beer gut I can't help but notice that tucked-in shirts look increasingly less bad on me.
@@russwhaley Thank you very much. I started losing weight primarily for the energy. I don't mind looking fat, I think I looked better when I was in the 240-260 lbs. range, but I hate not being able to have enough energy for a hike or to study.
@@maltheopia I hear you. I like looking better, but health has always been the bottom line. I had a major "come to Jesus" about 3 years ago that really caught my attention. My kids needed a ride home from a football game one evening. My car was broken down and in the shop, and their ride had to bail unexpectedly, so no one else was available to help. I had a roughly 2 mile walk to get to them. Then, there was the 2 mile walk back home (so 4 miles total). Between lack of energy and constant pain, that night was a huge wake-up call. Took me about 3 days to feel right again. Terrible!
Some clearly expressed views and food for thought Antonio. Thank-you sir. I saw one still image had the model with their shirt untucked…apart from about 4 inches across the belt where it was tucked behind the waistband. Have seen this a fair amount and it just looks untidy to me. Each to their own, but wondered what your view is? I think it is a ‘fashion’ thing rather than ‘style’. It is possibly similar to a man wearing a dress shirt buttoned to the top of the collar without a necktie. An obvious breaking of a dress convention as a statement?
Antonio is the best in the game right now. His last couple videos like how to spot low intelligence have been highly influential when it comes to leading men in a direction that leads to them living their best life. Thank you!

@@anvilangst7573 if I was on a hike/expedition I’d take something that distributes the weight I’m carrying equally across my back ie a backpack. I’d use a sling for every day carry in towns/cities as it’s sleek and compact and I can still get an iPad and journals in it easily. I have a Filson Dryden briefcase for more formal work-based outings. Different bags for different days/occasions. If I went to an event such as a festival, a sling bag is perfect for me! I’m more likely to take essentials. If I took my briefcase bag (as much as I love it) I’d most likely fill it with stuff I most likely wouldn’t actually need and would end up being burdened by it. It’s all in the planning I guess.
I for one believe wearing a T-Shirt, whether it is tucked or not, varies mostly by what look you’re going for. When wearing a suit obviously you should tuck it in. Not tucking can cause an issue with the suit fit and look depending on your size and details about the T-Shirt itself. But with a pair of jeans I wouldn’t. Most times when wearing something like jeans or chinos where your T-Shirt is exposed is mainly to be comfortable.
Tucked or untucked, that is the question... Why not both? If I wear a tee only, obviously untucked, or maximum a french tuck. However with a jacket (like at 6:27) or an unbuttoned shirt I use to tuck it in if I wear a nice belt
1:08 I don't mind using a body bag switched in front. There are a lot of pick pockets in my town. it is better to secure my valuable belongings rather that to think about my fashion look...but belt bags in waist are an exception it looks horrendous imo
I’m 55 5’-10” at 175 athletic build with some Cellulite around the waist. I wear a slim boot cut jeans belt to match of course …T-shirt tucked in the front out in the back no graphic on it. I’m sure people are like tuck it in dude but you get to an age where I like what I like and I don’t feel it’s sloppy or outdated. Of course my dress shirts are tucked in, or on a casual day untucked.
I don't know about some of these. Classic graphic tees are in. Not talking about faded, over washed ones but crisp new tees. They're in but cost a bit more than a regular tee.
Great video, I wear my bum bag across my body, picked some leather ones in Morocco. They are great to have keys, lighter wallet etc while I ride my Vespa. I worry about things fallng out of my pockets while I am riding. Plus it is easy access while you are sitting down too. It is a fine line between being practical and looking slightly wrong.
University shirts and graphic tees are a good choice of clothing for getting work done on a summer day. And if you feel you need square toe shoes for that exact box, just get a slightly longer shoe, and go to a shoemaker to have an insert placed in to get that affect.
I liked tucked and untucked. Im more of work wear casual and suit, blazer, button up on the weekends. Im starting to like tucked more as I lose weight. I notice a movie called American history x the older brother had a tucked in long sleeve shirt style and I thought to my self why did that go out of style. Also noticed and older coworker who I know very well tucks his shirt weather its work wear or casual. untucked just seems childish now sometimes. I definitely going to start tucking my shirt in again.
Nice endorsement of Collars & Co. What fabric are these made out of Antonio? They don't specify in their descriptions. Looks at if they're synthetic polos by the moisture wicking and the 4-way stretch. I aim to avoid synthetics and go for supima cottons etc... for softness and the natural aspects.
Every time you hit the like button you get more handsome, that's a new one. Your eagerness to sell your videos at the end of every video is second to none.
I wear polos at work with average slacks. I suspect my grandfather did the same. I caddied for him and he did have some style. Otherwise all T-shirt’s are worn untucked, especially the polos .
Fanny pack, is a great option for concealed carry when you're in clothes where you can't carry or it would be inappropriate to where a tradition holster (belt or shoulder).
Love the collar shirts! Definitely a hot-weather alternative that I need in my FL wardrobe. It seems versatile as well. I always untuck the T-shirt if I'm wearing the classic shirt and jeans, and it goes great with casual shoes.
I only tuck in T’s when they’re an undershirt with an over layer that I know will lift my T when I lift my arms or I don’t want it to possibly hang out the bottom.
Shirt should be tucked in at all times! Where I live we call it a "newspaper" when a shirt sticks out your trousers or from underneath your jacket. It keeps your waistline high, gives opportunity to show off one's belt and makes the silhouette tighter and cleaner.
Bro, I agree with you on most of this. I'm not into polos. If I'm wearing it, it's because I'm being paid to do so or as a favor to someone. I hate square toed shoes and boots. I don't own dress shoes. I'm in Texas. I have several pairs of Western boots that I wear when I need to dress up. They are snip toe and round toe. All my jeans are either dark wash or medium wash. I wear slim fit with a taper most of the time and straight jeans for when I am wearing boots. I'm in my 60s but keep in shape. Few people know my real age. Most women I know certainly don't and I'm OK with that. I've found that fit is the main thing. I enjoy your videos. Thanks for doing them.
Western boots are a huge exception to the square toes. I still think pointed-toes look way better, but they don't make you look as old as it would on loafers.
@@maltheopia The older Texans that have been here since forever tell me real cowboys that work in their boots don't like square toed boots because they are hard to get in and out of stirrups quickly.
@@thullraven1 Makes sense when you put it like that. So now there's another reason to be skeptical of square-toes, it makes you look like a city slicker!
I like a tucked in tshirt to start the day but i like it when it naturally fall out during the day an when the only exposure is the front belt buckle. Mind you this is not for a formal function but just as you come off the garden or your day walking around the neighbourhood towards the evening of the day.
Okay, so I've had the t-shirt tucked v. untucked argument so many more times with my sisters, girlfriends, and even my ex-fiancée than you could shake a stick at, and I am a FIRM believer in tucking in ALL t-shirts, for these reasons: 1.) Comfort! No matter the trousers, tucking in the t-shirt provides the same soft feeling at the waistband, since it insulates the body from any potential fabric bunching, or any elastic. 2.) Warmth! I'm only a buck and a quarter, and I live in the PNW, so damp drafts up my back and sides aren't usually on my list of top ten favorite things. Tucking the t-shirt disallows unwanted cold air. 3.) Style! Them hemline of a t-shirt is usually much lower than the waistband on trousers, so when a t-shirt is worn untucked (especially if it's a different color than the trousers), it lowers the beltline, which can be detrimental to short guys like myself. I'm 5'6, and having a lower beltline makes me look like a penguin. The higher beltline can also add the illusion of more stature. 4.) Vanity! I have received no fewer than 3 compliments ever day this summer that I have worn a t-shirt tucked into my trousers. I think it's because I can use my shirt garters (shirt-to-sock with trousers and tall socks, shirt-to-thigh for shorts or trousers with no-show socks) to keep the front relatively crisp. And if a cardigan, sweater, or ANY other layer is worn on top of the t-shirt, it should most certainly be tucked in, fullstop.
Well done. Thank you for mentioning the grooming of nasal hairs/ ear and nape of neck hair. Also was that a Greek Orthodox Church you were in with your daughter? Nice church.
But Antonio, regarding the fanny pack. I don't use a fanny pack but I have a shoulder sling. I have a 6 year old and I need to carry wet wipes and some other small things. Too many things for shorts unless I wear cargo shorts (which I don't wear unless it's to go to disneyland). I've looked at some small messenger bags but in my head I feel like it's a "murse". In the context of things I live in Hawaii and my casual wear is an untucked hawaiian shirt with chino shorts. The shoulder sling I use is worn on the back and the strap crosses the front of my body. I guess I could get a fancier sling maybe made of leather? Do you have any suggestion? Thank you
If your shoes hurt your feet or toes then they're not the right size or fit. Go somewhere that will measure your feet and do a digital foot assessment. Most decent running stores, like Fleet Feet do this. Then you have a better starting point. Thanks, Antonio, for another great video and on point content!🙌🥰
Lol. I've watched a few if your videos and I wasn't sure. But you got me with the "1% more attractive when you smash the like button" line. Liked and subscribed 🙂
I want to look older but I don't want to look like a joke. There's a difference. People always mistake me for 5-10 years younger than I am and because of that they think I'm less experienced. I also can't grow a beard so that doesn't help. I dress up and try to look more mature. It's just my boyish face. I can't do anything about it.
My ex-girlfriend and still friend told me I had the habit of dressing older , and more formal, than I am -- I did this experiment -- I wore middle-age clothes and got treated like a Dad , I wore "younger" more casual clothes and got treated like " a few years out of college"
I can agree with these and do admit if your younger if have a look that you can pull off that most can't I say go with it, but for some so called style things that are in I'm like I'd never wear this item isn't for me each there own.
Sadly I recently attended a work colleagues funeral, however what was also very sad was the number of work colleagues wearing square toed shoes, some of which looked like they would've been new, back in the 20th century
On occasion I dress well and have a few sports jackets but most days do form fitting jeans and a T shirt or polo. Is there any chance you would be willing to discuss dressing well and carrying a firearm?
This guy sounds good I’ve seen his cologne and his clothing fashion. My suggestion to him is number one invest in your face, eyes and mouth. He should consider veneers or teeth straightening /whitening. Nothing says healthy then pearly straight teeth to go with his suggestions. Good skin products to keep even tone and pigment and avoiding the turkey neck with proper facial products and neck stretching exercises.
I often get compliments on my style by women and even other men. I do wear graphic tees quite a bit, but I typically off-set them with an unbuttoned button-up shirt over it, along with slim-fitting jeans, and a good pair of sneakers that pop. I’m in my 40s, but people are usually surprised when I tell them my age. All for those grooming habits as well. I get my eyebrows waxed, and pluck my ear hairs/nose hairs when needed.
Mate no offense but i had to check. u made a video with a turned baseball cap. Thats not a good fit and graphic tees with an unbuttoned shirt is totaly a 90s look. I know, cuz i wore it in the late 90s XD
@@emeukal7683 That was a quick clip I did for my CR team a few years ago and my hair was a mess. Taking one clip from years ago with no context isn’t a good judgment. Look at the videos where I’m singing and you might get a better view of my style.
I have grey creeping in just figure it is life. But I like to add some blond highlights. Not dramatic but just for fun. I have normally brown hair, so, I use a 'just for men" blond shampoo. not too often, just now and then.
Hey Antonio, I recently changed careers out of the construction field. Starting out in an office which dresses business casual… that being said I do use a satchel bag would you say this is a bad idea?

I agree that t-shirts should be worn untucked, but there is one possible exceptioncatch. Not all people keep their phones in their pockets. There are many clip-on carriers that attach to the belt. This causes the shirt to have a hem which sticks up in one area, and is not what the shirt's maker intended. When this happens to me, I feel unkempt and want to tuck in the t-shirt so as to avoid this.
I like the look of a tucked in tee. Can’t have a graphic on it though, it has to be plain. My wife doesn’t like it though, so of course I don’t tuck in my tees. I think it looks good because it accentuates a wider upper body and tightens the look in the waist area, giving you that “V” shaped upper body. It doesn’t do that for over weight people though. Untuck your shirt if you don’t have the right shoulder/chest to waist ratio. You don’t want to accentuate a pot belly!

There are a few other ways to reduce nonenal odor:
Air out living areas regularly.
The Good News
While the ‘Old Person Smell’ may be a bit musty, it’s still ranked less problematic than middle-aged body odor.
I started my sweat smelling different--and worse--in my late 50s. Im 64
How wonderful it is to not care anymore whether people like what I wear or not. Since I stopped wanting to impress others I feel so much better. Funnily, I am more popular since. No outfit will ever compensate for an insecure character.
I hear ya’, I’m in my mid 70s and dress in jeans & a T Shirt for daily comfort.
Future episode suggestions:
1. How to properly fold clothes
Keep .38 in my Fanny pack. Perfect fit with three 5 round speed loaders. Came in handy at ATM 4 years ago.
The tucked in T shirt I rock quite often. I'm also tall, jacked and I have a shoulder to waist ratio of 1.75. It looks really good if you have a tapered physique.
"It sends the signal ... that you don't care ... In fact, you've given up on life ..."
So they should rightly be called Husband Jeans.
Note that young Rock fanny back pic. So we can all say "do you smell what the Rock is cooking". And ignore the nasayers
I agree. I would also add that a proper sized shoulder sling would do just as well. I would also go as far as saying not all fanny packs are stupid or bad to use. Some are definitely great quality and would be ideal for everyday use.
That's a fact
i use a shoulder bag. its definitely worth it. carry a water bottle in it. and everything esle.
I wear a shoulder bag because when I go out I have to switch to and from prescription sunglasses and it's more convenient to carry my wallet in there too. It's a lot easier than carrying around a glasses case everywhere I go
Praise you for mentioning the trimming! So important, so Underrated.
I am 100% part of the tucked-in-tee gang. It creates a cleaner silhouette and shows off my relatively narrow waist. Not a good look for overweight men. Tanner Guzy is the #1 evangelist of the style.
If you are ripped and/or jacked, tucked is fine. For the other 99.5% of us, untucked all the time.
Yeah, tucked tee-shirts only if you're skinny and/or jacked. If you got a beer gut, like me, it looks dorky.
Just... No
For me, it depends:
If you are thin, you can go tucked.
No.
In my country, Fanny Pack is usually associated with and commonly used by simple men from lower social status and/or income level.
I’m on the shorter side, so I tuck my shirt in if it’s longer in length.
But sometimes, I think a tucked in shirt just looks cleaner.
I tuck most of the time because I have worked my ass off to get rid of a gut and I like seeing the progress! If I am carrying concealed, I'll go untucked because it's easier to avoid printing.
Haha
I've gone from 120 pounds overweight to 20 pounds overweight, and while I still have a beer gut I can't help but notice that tucked-in shirts look increasingly less bad on me.
@@maltheopia That is awesome. Keep at it, the health improvements and just generally feeling better is priceless.
Thank you!
Thank you, Joshua!
I just discoved this channel and I love it! Also love the fact you're a military man..HOOAH (former army man here). I definitely have learned a lot because honestly I had no idea how to dress like an adult till I met my current gf lol, keep in mind ill be 40 this year. Anyways, just subscribed and keep the awesome videos coming good sir.
Let’s not confuse fanny packs with sling bags like the Tomtoc or Belroy slings. Sling bags are very much ‘in’ atm. And super practical!
Only if you are on a hike. If you are conducting business, carry a good quality, leather attaché or brief case, instead. Looks more professional.
Thanks for turning me on to Collars and Co. love their polos!
I do too! 😁
Thank you for every video including this! Have a good day! 💙💛
@@markotb I live by the Mediterranean it is compulsory to have one.
University shirts and graphic tees are a good choice of clothing for getting work done on a summer day.
And if you feel you need square toe shoes for that exact box, just get a slightly longer shoe, and go to a shoemaker to have an insert placed in to get that affect.
Great article.
But RUclips interrupted your piece for Collars and Co with an ad for sanitary towels.!
A 1 to 2 liter crossbody bag used as a pocket relief … pretty useful… it depends how you rock it.
Great video! Thank you)
I wear polos at work with average slacks. I suspect my grandfather did the same. I caddied for him and he did have some style. Otherwise all T-shirt’s are worn untucked, especially the polos .
Spot on video. Keep it untucked, no square toes or big patterns/Bill Cosby…get real and clean it up. Thx!
Fanny pack, is a great option for concealed carry when you're in clothes where you can't carry or it would be inappropriate to where a tradition holster (belt or shoulder).
Follow your advice , lots of great ideas. thanks .Donald
Love the collar shirts! Definitely a hot-weather alternative that I need in my FL wardrobe. It seems versatile as well.
I always untuck the T-shirt if I'm wearing the classic shirt and jeans, and it goes great with casual shoes.
I only tuck in T’s when they’re an undershirt with an over layer that I know will lift my T when I lift my arms or I don’t want it to possibly hang out the bottom.
i love this channel, rmrs is like a living advertisement for clothing companies
Shirt should be tucked in at all times!
Where I live we call it a "newspaper" when a shirt sticks out your trousers or from underneath your jacket.
It keeps your waistline high, gives opportunity to show off one's belt and makes the silhouette tighter and cleaner.
I invented the button down collar in high school in 1985. Queen of Canada Natalie Helferty Hollywood Royal.
@@maltheopia 😂😂😂
Congratulations on your daughter’s Baptism!! Is that a Byzantine parish?
I like a tucked in tshirt to start the day but i like it when it naturally fall out during the day an when the only exposure is the front belt buckle. Mind you this is not for a formal function but just as you come off the garden or your day walking around the neighbourhood towards the evening of the day.
Okay, so I've had the t-shirt tucked v. untucked argument so many more times with my sisters, girlfriends, and even my ex-fiancée than you could shake a stick at, and I am a FIRM believer in tucking in ALL t-shirts, for these reasons:
1.) Comfort!
3 compliments every day??? Are you Matt Bomer or something?
"You've given up on life and are just trying to get by..." Finally someone who understands me.
T shirt in a casual outfit can be untucked, but I actually like the tucked v neck with some nice slacks.
Thanks Antonio
Some of these looks make me crack up laughing!
Well done
Keep up the great tips on Mens Style!
My ex-girlfriend and still friend told me I had the habit of dressing older , and more formal, than I am -- I did this experiment -- I wore middle-age clothes and got treated like a Dad , I wore "younger" more casual clothes and got treated like " a few years out of college"
Those shirts look great. Will check them out.
Are you Orthodox?! I've been following you for years, and I had no idea (I'm Orthodox myself). Congrats on your baby's baptism, btw.
I use Cremo pomade, medium shine. Doesn't weigh my hair down and actually adds a little volume.
Fanny bag is useful and stylish for workers only ,including me, because I'm always on the move and always cutting tickets etc
I can agree with these and do admit if your younger if have a look that you can pull off that most can't I say go with it, but for some so called style things that are in I'm like I'd never wear this item isn't for me each there own.

Narrow square toe cowboy boots are awesome.
I'm having trouble with wanting to tuck my Pollo shirts, but I've always had struggles with the beer ceg belly. What do I do?
Binge watching style today.
I was going to say that T-shirts should be untucked unless worn as an undershirt, but Antonio beat me to it.

I like the T both tucked and untucked.
I agree with the shirt. They should be untucked unless its an undershirt
Love your vid's Antonio.. Question, I am retired first responder and as such I wonder if the "glory days" sweatshirts or polo's "rule" apply?
I agree that t-shirts should be worn untucked, but there is one possible exceptioncatch. Not all people keep their phones in their pockets. There are many clip-on carriers that attach to the belt. This causes the shirt to have a hem which sticks up in one area, and is not what the shirt's maker intended. When this happens to me, I feel unkempt and want to tuck in the t-shirt so as to avoid this.
I agree. T-shirts should be tucked in as as undershirt. but untucked otherwise
Another wonderful content...I will put this into a loop in public until my friends cease to repeat those mistakes (y)
How about graphic t shirts of places youve been to in your travels?!
Great content as always, 6:59 had me rolling though
🤣🤣🤣💀
