MegaAirplanelover Due to the jet stream, it takes longer heading westbound in the winter. Our block time was 7 hours 3 minutes, but we spent 6 hours and 15 minutes actual flight time in the air.
CobaltPhotography 6 hours and 13 minutes makes more sense. Yes, westbound, most flights would take up to 2 hours longer than eastbound depending on the distance.
The distance is short enough, it shouldn't take much. In 2011 my Wife, Son, & I took a flight from ATL to HNL & it took 10 hours, on the way back 9 hours. Topped out at 612 mph on the way back, & both to & fro on the same Delta A330. It was over 4000 miles one way.
@@DeanT1987 The times above are what Delta blocks the flight at. As it's during the winter, this also accounts for de-ice, queuing, etc. I've never actually had 7 hours of flight time on JFK-SFO during the winter, but I've had plenty of 6 to 6.5 hour flight times.
See the reply below - these are block times which are set by Delta. Actual flight time was @ for this particular flight, though I've had some in the @-@ range before on this route during the winter.
The 767-400ER has a very distinctive roar… I absolutely love it when they depart LHR😁
Nice! Always great seeing these 767s still flying around.
Love this 764 that wing flex 1:25
Belo Vídeo Exelente 767 Equipados Com Motores CF6-80C2 ❤
You can see the gear 😍😍
Not even the most modern Airbuses have this feature
This is one of the first,if not the first Boeings to have a raked wingtip. The CF6 running at a very high N1 on the takeoff.
Yeah I’ve heard the 764 is pretty underpowered for its weight.
@@320ifly You heard wrong
No actually its not.
Just curious how strong is the headwind?
Damn that hyper intense roll tho
Was it hard filming with the the seat being further from the window?
GE CF6 or PW4000?
GE CF6
CF6
How did it take 7 hours? It should be under 6 hours with a 767.

Are those the same engines that are on the 747-400?
They're the same type, but not the same
Different thrust rating on the FADEC (basically the computer that controls the engine)
Yes, General Electric
7 hours from East to West Coast, um okay. Normally it only takes 5 hours.
Ever heard of something called a headwind?
No way that took 7 hours of flight time.

I know its stupid, but if a 767 could break the sound barrier... bump video to 1.25spd
Elmo: Turn Down Your Volume Please.
