a regular cricut explore air will work. but if you're in the budget of buying a better one or want to eventually cut more than that, I suggest the cricut maker. now theres 2 cricut makers - the newest one #3 it also works with smart materials, that one is the best of course. I currently have the cricut maker the 2nd version. prior to that I had cricut explore air the first one for about 5 years and I made a lot of $$ using it for custom cake toppers, banners, shot glass decals, custom t-shirts etc etc
Thanks! Do you think I could use my cricut cake machine? I bought it to use with fondant but it never worked. I would love to make cake toppers for my cakes.
@@Zhannastar thank you I have checked out creativefabrica.com to see if they have it and it looks like they do I have a monthly subscription for a small fee (19.00), can download anything for free with commercial license . Thank you again .
I have cricut access when I watch tutorials and I try looking for the font being used in the videos I can never find them is there a reason for this issue?
I don't use cricut fonts. I download a bunch for free using fontbundles.net or dafont.com (my fave) or 1001fonts.com - theres just so many. (: or I purchase them on etsy. I like the handwritten calligraphy/script types. this one that I used, I did purchase it off font bundles - it was on sale for like $3 and its called heartbeat
I got it at joann fabric store. they have some pretty thick ones. but sometimes what I would do is glue a regular white cardstock paper to the back of the pretty cardstock (cause a lot of them are still too thin for my liking for a cake topper.) and lay books on top and let it dry, than use that and my cricut cuts it and its fine but than it looks more thick and just better over all
use stronger cardstock. sometimes I glue two pieces of cardstock together using foam brush and Elmers or mod podge glue. and than I lay heavy books on it and let it dry for hours and than cut. I only did that when I had custom colors cake topper orders. but thats too much work. so now I just use there amzn.to/2PfUz0q fallout
I had to download the font to my computer, than when I open Cricut in the fonts options I choose "system fonts" and than all my downloaded fonts are there.
if you go on dafont.com or www.1001fonts.com these websites you can download so many fonts for personal use. if you want to purchase the fonts use fontbundles.net
If you mean the font, its called "hello wedding" you would have to purchase the font, or see if websites like dafont.com or 1001fonts.com have it and you can download it for free for personal use. after you download it to your computer, open cricut design (after its been downloaded) and when you insert text, and than want to change the font of it, click "system fonts" and type "hello wedding" and your font should be there. hope this helped. sorry for late reply I was on a family vacation

Thank you for sharing! So beautiful 😍 What brand/ thickness of cardstock is this? I’m looking for something sturdy and won’t easily bend.
