I love that your showcase the stuff you actually love. I get so overwhelmed with channels that change their favorites every week. I don’t want to know what the latest and greatest is, I just want the greatest!
What I LOVE about you: when you love something, you love it!! Even if something new comes around, you don’t drop something that is “old” just because it’s no longer new. You will stick to something older if it’s better. I wish every influencer did that. Other influencers have a new favorite every week. They love everything that comes out and they will stop talking about “old” products just because it’s no longer a new release. THANK YOU for being so genuine and honest with your followers.
I love how much effort went into this video! You showed us a swatch on your hand, AND your face so we could see how it all blended in. That must have taken so much work to get all of those shots! I also love how you are true and loyal to some of your old products since so many launches recently happened and its really reassuring to see someone still talking about items that we have in our collections!
Maybe this is weird but you're my holy grail all-round beauty influencer ❤😭 Your channel is giving big sister who's cool and pretty but still really kind and nice vibes
I would loveeee for you to do a color season analysis for yourself as a video! Those are so interesting and help explain why some colors look great one person vs making another person look sallow or over the top. I love watching those and learn so much from them!
Thank you for listing the exact shades you use - I feel like our skin tones are very similar, and you have never steered me wrong with the shades you select!
For testing future primers, I would love to see you include Hourglass mineral veil, Laura Mercier hydrating pure canvas primer, and PUR four-in-one correcting primer. Those are my three current favorites for my combination and sensitive skin.
You are very authentic Abbey Yung. Love all your product reviews be it hair or skin or makeup. I was expecting a lip product category as well in this, I don’t know if you have forgotten the category or intentionally skipped it. But please do it in a separate video. I really look forward to it. Also some good eyeliner recommendations. Love 💕
Hey Abbey! Would you consider doing a video covering any cosmetic treatments you’ve done that you’d recommend? I’m not sure if it’s your personal wheelhouse, but with your level of research and how genuinely passionate you are about these things, I can’t think of someone whose experience and insight I’d be more interested in! I.e., resurfacing lasers, chemical peels, Microblading, injections, etc! I have melasma so I’m particularly interested in affordable treatments for that that would also help with ageing skin! I’m also curious if you’d recommending doing brow Microblading after having it done yourself!
I love that you do so many try on videos of these products. I don't think anyone does as many as you do. You work so hard and it really helps us pick out the difference in the products. Thank you it saves us all so much money and trial and error. This is why I love your channel. I love the iconic London blush you are wearing in this video. I think I want to get that one! I agree that the blush with the 4 powders should be able to dispense each one single at a time with a twist on off to open and close the holes for each section. That would make it perfect. Ive not seen the packaging but maybe you could take a tiny drill to it and make your own holes and put tape over them when you don't want it. Then you could use them individually too. Though you would risk breaking the container. If you did drill it I would put tape down then drill through the tape to try to prevent it from cracking and using a small small drill bit on a power drill.
Abbey, you are so beautiful! I would imagine anything would look stunning on you. ❤ I trust your opinions. like your viewers, you are extremely precise when it comes to figuring what is good/bad about a product AND whether things are actually dupes for other products. Thank you for all the hard work you put into your videos.
Absolutely LOVE the L’Oréal tinted serum. It’s so pretty and I’ve almost gone through a whole bottle which never happens with me. It’s a beautiful foundation. Also, the Dior concealer is one of the only concealers that I’ve used up the whole bottle and scraped the bottom.
My two fave primers are elf's hydrogrip dupe with niacinamide for extending how long my makeup lasts and essences dupe for the glow recipe dew drops for a hydrating primer. Please include these in your showdown video! I'd be interested in your thoughts 😊The caliray one is good, but sometimes it pills depending on the sunscreen or foundations I'm using, but I think that may be true for most "bluring" silicone based primers.
I have tried so many products you have recommended. Thank you for making my 52 year old skin look young. I would like you to try the Elemis Pro-Collagen Insta-Smooth Primer. I tried this on a cruise because I forgot mine and have loved it ever since. Thanks.
Primer is also good for acne prone people (like me) as it acts as a protective barrier between your skin and makeup. It Protects your skin from breakouts or acne.
I'm obsessed with the Iconic London blush now. Thank you for your amazing content and for showing us what is out there and that we have beautiful options!!! :)
Please test out a fantastic primer alternative, but bear with me, it's Monistat Anti Chafing gel. It has nothing to do with fungal infections btw. It is almost identical to smashbox and other heavy, blurring & filling primers. It completely erased my forehead lines til recently and still really improves my skin's appearance. Its very cheap, and you can use it as intended for a comfy underbra area and thighs. It's heavy but i believe performs well in that category.
This is such a good video!! I’d love this version with hair care!!! Also, asian hair care is such a good video idea; Stylevana has the Elizavecca hair treatment you love for so much cheaper than Amazon!!!! I’d love to hear your opinion on hair vinegars and so many of their amazing products!! :D
amazing list❤️ would love to see a video on your favorite brushes. I'm searching for a good blending brush for the crease and an angled one for eyeliner.
I love the Givenchy blush and I do use them separately. I put scotch tape on the holes and tap the blush I want on the inside of the lid . Trust me, it works!
Such a great video! I also love Pat McGrath blushes and own 3/4 you do. I don’t have Cherish...yet 😂 The colors are beautiful and they last on my oily skin. I’m also liking blushlighters. I have the same RMS and will be picking up the pink Iconic London. I want to pick up the pink Haus Labs but may wait for a sale and try the concealer too. I would love a concealer showdown! As for MAC, I recently got their highlighter in Show Gold which is a duochrome that leans pink. It’s beautiful!
When describing the shades of blushes will you please describe whether they’re cool, warm or neutral tones? Or will you please tell us what skin shades (warm, cool, neutral) the blushes would look good on? Thank you ❤
Hi Abbey ❤, Hope you're keeping well 😘! These types of videos are so enjoyable to watch and I get excited of the products you show 💕. I have a few of the Mac Lipliners which are great. My holy grail foundation is the Bareminerals Original in the shade Fairly Light, I also have the 24hr Brow Setter in that brand. You have to try the glitter toppers from Pixie! They are so pretty with a one and done eyeshadow, this on top and you're good to go. NYX have a great selection of Lipliners as I have a few of them in a bunch of neutral colours. Enjoy the rest of your weekend 💕!
You kept apologizing for things being repetitive, but I actually found it fun and like… validating?? (lol) to have my guess confirmed, like just a fun confirmation that I’m doing a good job keeping track of what the best stuff out there is right now! Besides, I’d rather get reassurance that the products I’m using/already were planning to get were great, than suddenly have 30 new products dumped on my plate that I now have to decided between, ya know? Plus, I love playing your videos while I’m doing my makeup every day because it feels like a fun podcast or like we’re facetiming, so even if I’m already familiar with the products I still enjoy the content. Thanks for all the good recommendations!! :)
So many good ones! I just repurchased MAC soft & gentle a few weeks ago after not using it for several several years. It's so pretty! I loved all of these blushes and want to pick up a few. If you haven't tried YSL lash clash, you should include it in your video. I love it so much!
The primer category is a curious space. I have wondered if my primer & sunscreens are at odds. Maybe give each time to dry, but that is difficult to do in a morning routine. I would love to see your opinion on Urban Decay All Nighter Face Primer & Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Maybe the Good Molecules Silicone-Free Priming Moisturizer vs. the Elf & Milk formulas. I 💞 to be updated on your favorite products that still stand out! ✨ Thank you for sharing! ✨
The new youthforia serum foundation has become my new favorite. The price tag isn’t fun and I also love the maybelline serum foundation but damn… that youthforia one
Have you tried the baked Almay blushes? They are legit, high-end quality. I never do this but I bought all four colors. I just can’t believe how good they are!
I love these types of videos, they are so helpful! Makeup by Mario is a brand I have never tried, so will check out some of the products you listed. I love the RMS and Pat McGrath blushes and dior forever concealer, which is one of my favourite concealers. Although for Mascara Benefit is my go to brand
I absolutely love the L’Oréal and Maybelline skin tints, but I HATE the packaging. I wish we could get them to change it, as it’s actually way too thick for the dropper style packaging. I actually keep the L’Oréal stocked in my kit (I’m a pro MUA) and so I de-pot all of my foundations into smaller bottles, but even so, I definitely lose a lot of product due to the messy/difficult nature of the packaging. I wish more influencers were talking about this, hopefully they will update 🤞🏼
I have loved the L’Oréal serum foundation, but it wasn’t until I was on my 5th bottle that I noticed the STRONGEST alcohol scent. I don’t know if they changed it because I’m sensitive and I can’t believe I’ve never noticed before. The smell will dissipate but it’s so strong and once I noticed it there just wasn’t any going back. I’ve since replaced it with the No 7 Lift and Luminate serum foundation and I’m shocked that I think I like it even better than the L’Oréal.
Actually you can use Givanchy blush each color sector separately - look I just cover 2 or 3 sectors with my fingers and scattter needed color to the lid:)
I love your videos so much they are so informative and I don't buy anything unless I know you like it. Could you please review Dae hair products I have really wanted to try their stuff but I want to hear your opinion first.
The make up by mario shade selection is the stuff of dreams, but Huda do offer a scaled down version. I agree Mac is the make up of make up artists and that's the difference....but hourglass is a close second
Hi Abbey, I love your videos and the effort you put into each video by collecting the details/research, and that makes us trust your feedback/reviews/suggestions on the products. I myself have seen major difference since I started using the Redken Acidic Line, Loreal Bond Maintain Line, It cosmetics salicylic acid serum, Peptides. It would be a lot helpful if you could add a small intro/details on your skin type or hair type when you start your videos so that it can help the audience relate better. My hair is fine so I could relate a lot with hair care, As for the skincare/makeup, a few products worked for the cause but a few didn't work, I suppose it had to do something with skin type. So, I thought it could help target the right audience :) Love ya!!!
I’m curious if you love the newly reformulated Dior concealer or if your rave review is about the old formula. They reformulated a few months ago and many long time lovers of it no longer are recommending it
also have you tried the Elf cream blushes? the peach one is *increidbly* similar to NARS orgasm but the most important thing is that these glide on like a dream and then.....stay the entire day. The first few times I tried them my jaw kind of dropped because I had never used a cream blush that was actually sitll there 12 hours later but these really last
I don't ever use a primer. I use Neutrogena Clear Face Sunscreen 60 as my primer followed by the Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray then my foundation. So far so good.
For the Givenchy blush I was thinking, what if you put 4 small triangle puffs on the pack and when you shake it to get pigment you use one of the puffs so that you use just one of the shades? I just thought of this as a solution, it might work
You single-handedly control my beauty and wellness budget haha! Have you ever tried regimen labs? I'm really itching to try the c.r.e.a.m. but want your opinion!
I love that your showcase the stuff you actually love. I get so overwhelmed with channels that change their favorites every week. I don’t want to know what the latest and greatest is, I just want the greatest!

Me too 😊

I'm so glad to hear that!!! I have a hard time quitting things I love so I worry about being too repetitive!
@@AbbeyYung PLEASE DONT WORRY! It’s truly what makes you unique and trustworthy!!!
this is EXACTLY why i watch her too! that and that she actually knows what she's talking about - especially with skincare!
I agree! ❤
Wholeheartedly agree! Thanks for keeping it 💯

Yay!! So glad xoxo

Please don’t take this the wrong way but you look stunning in this natural make up today.
Omg I'd never take that the wrong way lol thank you so much!
I agree! Natural but glowy and stunning, the hair and makeup, it’s just really really working for you here!

She explained this in the beginning that she did a separate and very thorough review of lip products

Awww thank you so much!
Abbey, you must compare the milk primer to the elf one’s that supposed to be dupes! Hope you have great day ❤
Your makeup is puuuurfect in this video! Can you do a tutorial ? 😍
Love favorites round up! Adding a few to my Sephora cart to try once the fall sale hits! Also veryyy excited for the concealer round up 🎉
Also prepping for the sale!!!
Would love to see favorite brushes, especially for each type of product!

I loved Elsie’s wagging tail in many of the clips 😂❤
Hahaha right... we were playing fetch between cuts lol

So right about Mac! Amazing products. Their face and body is the best foundation and there is no other like it. So natural
I love the Givenchy blush and I do use them separately. I put scotch tape on the holes and tap the blush I want on the inside of the lid . Trust me, it works!

The Lancome lash primer is a holy grail! Definitely going to pick up that iconic london blush you have on 😊
When describing the shades of blushes will you please describe whether they’re cool, warm or neutral tones? Or will you please tell us what skin shades (warm, cool, neutral) the blushes would look good on? Thank you ❤
I completely agree with your choices! The best concealer is Dior and I have tried ALL of the new ones. Also the loreal skin tint is top notch!!!!
The wet n wild contour stick is a dupe for the rare beauty bronzer sticks. And it's less than 5$
wow, wow! your makeup in this video is stunnnnnning. so natural and beautiful! love all of these recommendations. thank you!
Love your videos. Please do one on cruelty-free makeups, or small brands like Araceli Beauty or Besame Cosmetics.
I love mixing the hourglass ambient light powder with my blush if I want my blush more glowy. Or if the blush is very pigmented.

You have to try rare beauty mascara in your mascara showdowns! It’s so good!

Omg I love the liquid blushes 😍
Abby please try the NYX Marsh Mellow! I really like and would be amazing seeing you comparing it to others
Please try the Tula Skin blurring primer. I never hear people talk about it but am obsessed!!! I order two at a time and am so faithful to it!
Haus labs rose quartz is a staple in my routine!! I have been using the new concealer and it’s fabulous for me. I have dry skin with some fine lines
I think I'm going to try the Hourglass blush!! The color is gorgeous!!
Have you tried the baked Almay blushes? They are legit, high-end quality. I never do this but I bought all four colors. I just can’t believe how good they are!
I'm here for a new concealer showdown!!
I think pore filling primers serve an important purpose. I definitely rely on them for smoothing.
That NARS blush has been d/c for a while. I got it on your rec just a few weeks before it was replaced with the doe foot ones and it's so good
I do love your recommendations as I think you’re sincere
Thank you Abbey ❤❤ this video is a hands on one of the favorites 😍
Of course!! thanks for watching xoxo
Great video, and one I'll be coming back to again and again as needed. Your reviews are the absolute best, thank you! 💞
Can hardly wait for concealer video!
Love it!!!! As usual! 😊😊😊 Thanks Abbey!
Thanks for watching!!
Thanks! I’m definitely going to try the Essence mascara.
I love watching you. Thank you for your knowledge !
For tubing mascaras, if you haven’t tried the Holika Holika one, it is amazing and the price is great from Stylvana.
Abby shared an amazon pump that fits the L'oreal one beautifully. Best $5 I ever spent on Amazon because you're right re the awful dropper.
No way?! Ok I'll see if I notice this on my next new bottle
I’m a loyal viewer and i LOVED this video😍 was just in the market for a new blush so its perfect timing
The new Danessa Myricks is the best nude palette I’ve ever used tbh
So helpful and informative. Thank you for sharing!
What lipstick are you wearing in the video? Such a great shade!
These are some of my favorites as well great tutorial!
Your videos are my favorite for unwinding after a long day ❤❤❤ thank you!!!!😊
What eye shadow are you wearing in this video. This whole eye look is perfection. I need a video on this or at least the products
Fantastic video! What’s the brush you use for applying eyeshadow as eyeliner?
I was looking for this question because I am looking for a good one too! I hope she gets back to us!!
Try the Rare Beauty pore primer. I love it.
15:49 Pat McGrath blush is $39 not $23. I was confused for a sec and though wow they dropped their prices, but no. PMG is still very expensive.
The make up by mario shade selection is the stuff of dreams, but Huda do offer a scaled down version. I agree Mac is the make up of make up artists and that's the difference....but hourglass is a close second
Hi Abbey,
I love your videos and the effort you put into each video by collecting the details/research, and that makes us trust your feedback/reviews/suggestions on the products.
So, I thought it could help target the right audience :)
Love ya!!!
Happy fall!❤
I just started trying MAC for the first time and I’m in love. So good.
Can you please try more skin tints other than those brands?
My first video. Love your personality and all of your knowledge. If you try more primers, maybe you could review the Tarte potted primer. 💗
I loveeeee tarte tartlette tubing mascara!!!! My fav mascara ❤
The first few times I tried them my jaw kind of dropped because I had never used a cream blush that was actually sitll there 12 hours later but these really last
That’s always excellent content. Thank you so much for your research. ❤
GRRL, take it easy when putting on and blending your eyeshadow, all that rough pushing and pulling will lead to saggy lids as you age !!!
It would be nice if you compare the concealers with the, natasha D, lamcome and the hourglass as well😊❤
Can you review Asian hair care products?
People don’t talk about MAC but it’s still my go-to brand and I’ve been buying from them for over 10 years. 🤷♀️
Just got the milk primer today!!
Honest beauty primer!
What product did you use on the video?
I don't ever use a primer. I use Neutrogena Clear Face Sunscreen 60 as my primer followed by the Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray then my foundation. So far so good.
I miss using Neutrogena sunscreen on my face - I had to switch because it would always migrate into my eyes. 😦
@@grespinosa Try using a setting spray, might help to keep the sunscreen in place.
Love when a new video comes out
For the Givenchy blush I was thinking, what if you put 4 small triangle puffs on the pack and when you shake it to get pigment you use one of the puffs so that you use just one of the shades? I just thought of this as a solution, it might work
You single-handedly control my beauty and wellness budget haha! Have you ever tried regimen labs? I'm really itching to try the c.r.e.a.m. but want your opinion!
