This is a beautiful home, but despite the space in the living area, I couldn’t live without a washer/dryer and the kitchen is too small if you are a cook. I would require an oven and at least a drawer style dishwasher. I have health issues that prevent me standing for long periods of time to wash dishes or go to a laundromat. It’s a beautiful home for someone without those limitations.

I absolutely love this! I didn't know porches could be added! I'm on disability and tired of paying out good money on a place that will never be mine. I was strongly debating on checking on one of these, wondering about a porch because "catio" would be a thing or enclosing it in with huge windows (possibly removable for summer? Plexiglass? 🤔no sliding french doors). The only thing missing for me is natural edged wood book shelving all around the walls, up out of the way so it leaves all the floor space open. I do art and love as much natural lighting as possible but that extra tall ceiling for the bathroom I could do without, a normal bathroom with a long, not tall, window added in would work. That extra space over the bathroom could be turned into storage, a basket and rope/chain pulley type system would take care of the carrying up and down the stairs issues 🤷♀️🤔
Unfortunately the system is setup intentionally that way, so nobody is ever able to get ahead. Subsidized housing in my opinion allows them to slap up substandard, stack and pack tenements and rake in the profits. The way of the future that the powers that be want for all of us, the peasants is that we'll own nothing and be happy.. or I believe it is more like they want us to own nothing and they'll be the ones that are happy. I do hope you are able to achieve your dream someday of your very own home. These homes, this way of living is the way to go. 😊

This is closer to what I need. I do need a smaller living space and a 1st floor bedroom with the loft for visitors. I’d love to paint the inside and do some things myself so I can hopefully afford what I need. I live off disability so I have to stick to a tight budget. I do want to move to your place.

This is what I'm looking for. I love a cabin, a container home gym and office to the side on some land and I'm set. Another great build. And I love the floor. Love ITH
I have 2 sons living with me and I am seriously considering buying two tiny homes with my bedroom, a kitchen, a bath and living area in mine; then having 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living space in the other. We could park them on a piece of land and live together without being cramped. Then when my teen is older, the 2nd tiny could be his home. My other son is an adult and will probably have his own place by then.
I like this design a lot. I think I'd have given the bathroom a few more feet to fit a washer/dryer behind the shower and I'd put a long dresser with a hanging rod above it on the wall opposite the sink since there would be a bit more floor space in the bathroom. This would make the porch a couple feet smaller but it would be great to have all the clothing storage in the bathroom.

I wonder why ITH didn't make a model based on this layout instead of cramming the stairs, kitchen, and bathroom across barely 9 feet of interior space. This design makes a large living room, wide and functional kitchen, and large bathroom. So much more livable than the Charleston, Dalton, Augusta, and even the Birmingham. And this is only 26 feet long. The kitchen needs more cabinets and making enclosed storage under the stairs would be great. Or maybe a washer/dryer combo under part of the stairs. I love it!
Randy: On this model, could you eliminate the top two steps, lowering the level? That way you could stand up beside the bed to dress? There could be a closet at the end for hanging cloths with a couple of drawers below. This would make the bedroom more user friendly.
I would go with white windows, and you can always paint them another color. Some screens that pull down (like shades) when you want them and up when you don't want them. Love that big deck on the end of the house. Isn't there vinal flooring that looks like pine flooring?
I love this home! where is the washer/dryer? I would close in the space between the treads and the loft, wall space! And probably do what Will & Becky did with the cabinet door to the loft. You can’t really get dressed in a loft, so having your clothes downstairs makes more sense, at least to me.
