Fun fact: Taraji P Henton said in an interview that when her character Yvette handed Peanut her daughter she pinched her daughter and thats why she started crying. So it served 2 purposes..to passive aggressively hurt the child as well as to manipulate people to think that the child didn't want to go with Peanut. Go back and watch the scene in slo motion and you can see it.

I'm glad yall enjoyed the movie . One of Songleton's best. RIP JOHN SINGLETON. Tyrese is actually a good actor, most of us in the culture already knew this. Which is why the way his character has been written in Fast and Furious films has been pretty disappointing. You guys are Dope 👍🏽

You guys should check out some Martin Lawrence movies. He has a comedy called National Security. He plays a guy "abused" by police but it isn't what the media made it out to be. Very good movie. His other good one is LIFE with Eddie Murphy.

Wonderful reaction to another classic in the black community. This is a movie that a lot of us have seen since we were young, a stale. John Singlton always had a beautiful way with making factual or relatable things and executing it. Hope you are able to do more, there are TONS lol

Another fun fact, Tupac was supposed to play the Tyrese role but he was killed. John Singleton lived him and his acting and wanted him to be his deniro to his Scorsese. That's why his picture was on Jody's wall. He wanted to include him somehow and felt his spirit was there.

I never wanted to see this film. It always seemed like more of a parody than anything, full of nothing but black stereotypes. I was correct, but it was still decent for what it was.

As much as I hate the scene where Snoop is about to rape Yvette, I was always glad that they didnt have him rape her. Even if they didnt show the rape played out on the screen, it wouldve took away from the movie, cause it would've always pissed me off. 1, cause fuvk rapist.....but 2, cause I LOVE Yvettes character.... Jodi & Snoop had more than enough reasons to dislike each other.

This movie is overrated in my opinion because BET played it to death. Fun facts: The late 2Pac was supposed to play Jody & Ice Cube was supposed to play Rodney. Cuba Gooding Jr.’s brother was on Wild & Crazy Kids, Hangin With Mr. Cooper & Smart Guy back in the 90s. Please watch the following movies:
