It's a good vacuum but it falls flat on usage time compared to the similarly sized M18 model. Also it's quieter and if you're using it for dust extraction purposes in way outperforms the M12. I use my M12 as a car vacuum now and the M18 is always with my daily tools
12 volt run time will always be lower due to current and voltage and stuff. But it is a great vacuum nonetheless. For small cleanup jobs and if you have multiple batteries them go for it!
Yea
So basically it’s only good for using it for your car right
Exactly what I was thinking. Great for keeping the cars clean and also small jobs around the apartment.
Interesting. How well does the m12 perform as a car vacuum?
I'm getting the 18V probably tomorrow, and really looking forward to it. My big-azz 6 gal. Ridgid is great for big open areas, my 5 gal. Fein is nice and quiet for when the customer is meeting with the designer or a favorite song is playing, but I need something for small clean-ups in tight spaces. The Milwaukee vacuums have outstanding reviews, and I have batteries. I'm sold!
It seems like a handy on the daily job kind of vacuum when you don’t have a ton of dust
How do you know that it's been built to last when you used it for 5 minutes.
Milwaukee as the name brand and knowing good materials after reviewing 100's of tools.
I e been looking at this and the M18 version for a while now and can't decide on which I want. I prefer the smaller M12 size bc it would fit perfectly in my vehicle with my other pack out stuff.
perfect for cars
Anyone with another opinion about the battery life, mine last 10 minutes and I had to recharged it, I was using a 5.0 high output
How much does it cost
Are the hose interchangeable between the m12 and m18?
Awesome video man i am a Milwaukee nut I have the m12 and m18 fuel pack out in my opinion I would definitely go with the 18
Hose on mine fell apart after using it 4 times over a 2 1/2 week time frame. Returned it and went to Lowe's and bought a Dewalt corded 4 gallon tool box style vac for the same price.
I’m pretty sure it comes apart so you can clear obstructions
So now you're lugging around a 4 gallon unit? Those are two completely different units my guy..
The hose is twistable, it will come loose with usage, you just need to tighten it by going counter-clockwise.
Thank you for the video demonstration, but I would have also liked to see it's wet vac capabilities.
You could check out Project Farm’s video on cordless vacuums he tests out all kinds of tools and puts em to the test of which one actually preforms the best
Yes, Project Farm does crazy in depth testing on these small vacs.
@@Z69ChipmunkZ true, but he didn't test the new M12 vac or the M18 Packout vac. It was the M18 version. If I remember correctly, it's their older model
Bought this in may 2022, failed after a month, Wont suck up anything. This made me buy a corded vacuum. Biggest pile of junk milwaukee makes. Do not buy this.
Thanks 😎😍😎😍😎
2x quieter than what?
This vacuum sucks less than my ex gf also drains the battery faster than she drained my bank account
Sounds like you have GF issues more than vacuum issues.
I use this vacuum on my schlong all the time and I don’t think the suction is that bad. I’m married though so my bar is set quite low.
Same
Sooooooooo quiet, but... battery life is still terrible in my opinion. Great, well thought out design too.
Sucks up several pieces of pea-gravel, "Well there you have it, this is definitely built to last"
👏🏽
Thanks for the review.
I got that M18 Fuel Packout Vac.
It's not bad although u feel that the hose is not gonna retain its elasticity over time.
Go Berg!
Not convinced. 1 min of light vacuuming doesn't show if it sucks.
If you're on the platform with Milwaukee, I think you would like it.
Thought you were a Dewalt guy
Battery vacuum cleaner? I'm not convinced 🥸🤓😜
This thing sucks don’t waste your money. Will die in 20 minutes, will break in 2 weeks
Wow, don’t quit your day job
Lol you mean remodeling showed and bathrooms? Never
