As a Xemistry major in college, I saved a lot of note taking time and space using Greek diphthong equivalents. When I learned of Thorn, Theta got quickly replaced.
@@peridotisthegoat96 In my opinion, we should only remove q because if we removed x, a word like tax would be spelt as "taks", which looks like a plural form of þe word tack (rewritten as tak), and we should keep c and repurpose it for þe "ch" sound, kinda like what is done in Indonesian and Italian.
I alſo like þe long ſ, which aſſiſts in diſcerning words by þeir varied ſhape. Modern typography looks a lot more flat. Long ſ makes reading in one's peripheral viſion better!

Something that I noticed, is that most English speakers do not pronounce þ or ð.
Instead, þ is pronounced like f, and ð is pronounced like v.
Here in Australia þat isn’t the case, it would be considered very low class/bogan - and every parent/teačer would be discouraging it.
