The system has failed is so underrated. Crazy how unique sounding and melodic the whole album is and it was all Dave. People always be like the first 4 are the only good yet 99% of the time they never listen to anything other than Peace and Rust.

Man, from the way he dresses and performs you would never think Mustaine was one of the kings of metal music. I’m sorry but the performance quality here is so extremely low, and it really can’t be understated how important that is to “success.” Success shouldn’t be the only things that’s important in music but Mustaine has openly talked about how he spent most of his career feeling like he had the success he should’ve had with Metallica ripped away from him. The music can be the greatest music ever, and in Mustaine’s case it was, but there’s such little fun, and that’s what he was missing. Metallica still to this day holds down stadiums of hundreds of thousands with ease.
