1:32 I remember watching this live and thinking how weird it was that Dave never aged. He looks pretty much the same here as he ever had since the band started. Little did we know like a year or two later he'd catch up on aging super fast lol.

Sleepwalker is a great song same with kick the chair. The sleepwalker into wake up dead transition gets me hyped every time. That drum fill gets me going!

I'm presently on my girlfriends phone and gotta say that i really like that time period in Megadeth's career w/Chris Broderick and Shawn Drover (2 extremely awesome musicians) and later went onto form ACT OF DEFIANCE

Dave and whoever involved in this production should allow us, the loyal "droogies" an physical copy of this released as a CD just as they did with the Bosto unplugged. I still remember then this came out and it really blew my mind. Fourten years later I'm still here and having the same old feeling. This is mesmerezing. MUST BE in every Megaderth collection. Sumarizes well those years between the return of Dave after 2004 and Endgame. Some really remarkable stuff. Even better than Thirteen and Súper Collider, which where récords with some extra expectations due to the return from Ellefson.
Hence the best of 2004 - 2009. Extradordinary line-up by the way.
07-08 was the last time Mustaine sounded ok, coz after the Endgame recording, he was shot, vocally + 10-14 was the worst era in Megadeth's history. Just terrible! '04-09 was good, coz of TSHF, That1Night, U.A, Warchest, Endgame. And, thank F for Dystopia, later. lol
Paul is an insanely good drummer, and I would have to agree that he's the best dave has ever had! Isn't it strange that after the fans start to learn the new personnel in the band, poof, there gone!! Nah - that's not at all strange! Our buddy bvb David wants to keep it that way!! Do ya feel me Dave, do ya feel me Paul? Yes sir....
Chris broderick was so good on the solos, one of the best live performances of megadeth 🤘

Not too throw cold water on Kiko, but Broderick is insane!!!! No lie I've seen them with him more than any other "sideman" and he seriously takes the show!!!! 🤘🤘
@@vincentrandles8105 I personally prefer Kiko Loureiro with his hybrid picking, but Chris Broderick was absolutely insane with note for note solos. Chris makes the Lucretia solo sound better than Marty himself in my opinion - quite incredible.

Without doubt the best set list. The opening four songs just sets the pace for the whole show. Not a single miss. Yes the vocals are overdubs but to be honest it doesn’t take away from it. Their playing is absolutely spot on
I love Megadeth but there's no way it sounded this good live. Would love to hear it as it was. Like rude awakening. I did get see rust in peace live 20th anniversary and it was pretty spot on epic.

Dave seemed like he was really engaged in this most I've ever really seen him engaged in it ever. Maybe because it was being filmed but I've seen them being filmed before. Just saying he is really putting full effort in it. Whenever actually looks at the microphone and sings he always sounds better. Its hard to do i understand playing guitars. I also understand he's somewhat famous for his snarl singing out the side of his mouth. Hell I've been listening to them since they came out.
