MegaDeth amazing band. Incredible. They absolutely make powerful , memorable , thrash metal , great musicianship and skill , to this day in a class all by themselves
LOL bro, those are not the vocals from the concert, at the time he used recorded vocals from previous concerts to replace the live ones in post-production.
Rust In Peace is my favorite album by them and top 5 thrash overall. MegaDave is truly a mastermind and a metal God. I got to meet him during the Cryptic Writing tour and we talked for an hour and a half and I asked him what his secret of longevity was and he just gave me that evil grin. Then he invited me to jam with him. I chickened out. I still bang my head against the wall over that. HARD.
Saw this douche led band in 85 with still only a demo out Death Angel. & |5 yr old drummer & shitted on aMD?unfortunately they were set up for failure again with Possessed & 4rd time opening up for Exciter& showed then they were for lamer tamer tone deaf posers
Junior sure had many solos in this concert... Poison Was The Cure, Dawn Patrol and i would call intro of Trust bass/drum solo. And there is Peace Sells
@@heithembenmhni6374 Oh you want some facts. Metallica are better. Led Zeppelin are better. Even the Beatles shit on Megadeth and they're not even metal LOL. And yeah...Pantera kicked their ass mate.
We've lost so many of the really intelligent rockers recently. It's great that Dave wasn't one of them as he is the thinking person's metal head par excellence. One of the greatest guitarists who has ever lived also. Awesome gig. When the song was written 30, 35 years ago but still hits home now, that's some serious lyrics. To think at the time metal was thought of as a disposable art form with no value. Now we are realising the cultural and prophetic significance of it.... too late?
I saw this tour in Medford Oregon… Testament & Exodus opening.!!! Fucking awesome metal show.!! Rust in Peace live in its entirety was OFF THE FUCKING HOOK.!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
11-11-2020 this album is fkn EPIC how's about Megadeth being inducted into the rock n roll hall of fame and Slayer and Anthrax and Suicidal Tendencies. All those great bands deserve recognition
Dave is the best heavy metal guitarist ever.Even live he pushes himself with great sound. Ive seen all the metal concerts and dave + crew was the best.
Somewhat agree, the only competition I hold to him is Dimebag. Dave has more technical rhythms, Dime has more original rhythms. Dave is a samurai on lead playing, Dimebag is a Jedi Master, or perhaps a Sith Lord at lead. The only edge I would give to Dave is that he can play those complex ass rhythms while singing and never miss a beat or note. Dime could play and sing also, but he never did at the level or consistency that Dave did. Lols, Dime is my favorite though, so it’s hard to decide for me.
I noticed that Dave switched guitars for " Take No Prisoners " just threw me a loop at first wait he was playing silver v and then went back to the rust in piece v....
if you're paying attention so did Effleson...changed basses for the earlier songs...he only played a 4 stringer on early stuff....invented the 5 stringer himself.
I don't know i like Shawn Drover, he does keep the timing steady as a rock, if i were drumming Megadeth i'd be speeding up too fast.., Chris not playing too emotional and feel either.., but they both are Hired Guns !!
Brodericks talent makes playing the tunes look easy is all...very complex artist Broderick is---diverse, masterful and def an addition to Megadeth at this point in their careers
This era of megadeth shows that u don't need only technique to be at the highest. Compare this era with megadeth nowadays, both has incredible technique and speed but Kiko and Dirk has something else
Wish I could have seen this awesome show, this was one of their best albums. I stayed up all night learning this album in a small room and a cheap guitar, I didn’t care, this was my totem.
Video is super sharp. Left the tv on and this video was casting on my tv, WOW! Blewe away but the camera guy was a bit too silly on the angles. Other then that the whole thing was KILLER! Love Dave.

@@jeromebaca3248 😂
@@hiseverest9074 saw megadeth open for motley in San Antonio. Was no more than 3000 in attendance.
@@jeromebaca3248 Marty left in 2000, announced his departure in December of 99 yes, but left January of 2000
@@imalexbojorquez but the guy said in his stories it was early 2000s when he seen them with Marty. If he left in January 2000 and announced it December 99 that is very unlikely.
13:43 - absolute pornography
It's easy to tap in bass rather than guitar
@@sumathiwilson9650 I'm sure it is 👍
@@georgeharnwell but this whole show is absolute pornography though
He nailed it
hahhahahahahaa lmao lmao!!
Amazing
Yeah they sound pretty good just like the album love it 🎸🗿
You got that right I'd call him Legends icons gods well I wouldn't go with that far but you know Dave would say that too he likes a little respect he's a quiet man and I like that I don't think he'd go that far to say the g now with that we'll leave it alone and be nice watch him he's a good dog be nice 🗿🎸
Yeah 😊
They play it so clean too. Identical to the albulm.👍
I went to the 1990 tour. Best concert ever.
Awesome nearly album quality
They are crushing it! Chris nailing each and every Marty solo without breaking a sweat, too.
im glad they played rust in peace polaris live, one of the best drum intros of all time
Rust In Peace a Masterpiece Album from Megadeth....
This proves Dave looked 20 for 30 years and then aged 30 years in 9
He's still looks pretty much the same as on this video in Countdown live DVD. He started to aged more quickly since 2013. He aged 15 years in 7 years since then.
The only way to avoid aging.....Deth!
actually in 2
It's called drugs and alcohol
And throat cancer.
Chris is killing it on lead!!
My favorite of them all, I know everyone loves Marty, but Chris was my favorite.
He plays the solos closer than any other megadeth guitarist
His accuracy is unreal. He's even looking and smiling at the crowd while playing these complex solos...
Bestia "rust in peace" ...este conciertazo va directo a mi lista de descargas ..MEGADETH!!!!!!
I love when Ellefson goes an octave lower on the one part in Dawn Patrol. Nice surprise and cool to hear.
Can you imagine back in time this concert with Menza RIP and Martin could have blown your mind !!!!
Amazing metal album. Still get chills when I listen to Take No Prisoners.
Symphony Of Destruction - 1:05:12 MEGADETHHHH MEGADETHHH AGUANTE MEGADETTTTHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Thigh master, thigh magics.
Hallowed be thigh name
I have been singing that for many years. I am happy that I was not the only one. Lol

All these years I thought it was just me that sung Thigh Master!! haha
El mejor concierto con el mejor playlist: album Rust in Peace completo🎸🎸🤘🤘
wut??
My main man,my guitar GOD. The strongman of Metal..The greatest Dave of them all.
Rust In Peace is and will always be the best album of MEGADETH and one of the best masterpieces of all time!
1:05:36 "Ok 2 more songs and then lunch break; man, I hate this job!!"
1:05:46 "I wish someday I could do something else... something exciting... like being an accountant!!!"
Shame he's a good drummer, just no energy when playing live
@@yianni8465 None at all. His drumming sounds like when you hit a pencil eraser against a notebook. Compared to Nick Menza or even Jimmy DeGrasso it's kind of pathetic, honestly.
No one ever done metal like megadeth , they only comes once in a lifetime
Speed clear clean power charisma heavy and strong performance the wild looks of Dave mustain easily blows your emotions apart.
Megadeth for life🤘🤘🤘
If only MetallicA hadn't kicked him out, they could have been fucking phenomenal with MegaDave
Ryan Wright you are totally right
Dave is like an endless stream of organized powerful melodies , always new and updated as if he breathes music 🎶 in and out , Metallica in my opinion could have limited him And to be a Mega u need no limits Dave knows nothing about limits 🤘🤘🤘 not his dictionary.
and they don't ever get mentioned for the FAKE rock-n-roll hall of fame ? these dudes are kickass!!!!
It's all good, you have to buy your way in, proves Dave isn't a sellout. \m/
@@craigcolbert9544 Yeah not a sellout because he lacks the fan base LOL.
oh well. thats ok.
Buck Rogers wrong!
@@wallywalpamur4960 does it hurt to be that stupid?
ellefson even pulled out the old mockingbird from the 80s! Badass
he just had it reinvented from old pictures because there were never any schematics made for it...available now for purchase....just saying
@@thrashrattlehead4548 No shit. Almost just about bought one. But bought a signature concert bass instead
Cool song.
@@gavinbiela8862 mock, yeaa
If you notice clearly...the sound of the drums is cutting right throug the riffs. Insane drumming, one of the best Megadeth Live Drumming
great sound but oversimplified the fills and beats, its just not megadeth
hmm well the electronic drums nowadays is total crap,, i hate it..!! I really cannot stand the sound of the new kit now... its horrible, IMHO.
The drummer is pretty awful here. He's not playing double kick at all. It's not even close to the way Nick plays the songs both on the album and live. I'm pretty disappointed.
Rust in peace is my favourite albums of MEGADETH and the rest are all brilliant. From Scully LFC.
for my taste this is one of the greatest speed/thrash metal albums of all times..... Dave is writing at the top of his career and every song is a home run no weakness to be found
Very well but I agree check out hidden treasures it's a real album but you can find it turn it up 🗿🎸
PS Kirk still wondering damn we shouldn't have fired that guy
PS you have to wonder if them too whatever get along and play together but I don't think that will happen they're just too old farts kind of like you know down south thing
@@davidrockey7190 hidden treasures was basically a collection of b sides and covers they had done for different soundtracks and stuff up to that point. It was pretty cool though.
Спасибо. Отличное качество при таком малом весе. Буду на ТВ смотреть.
mustaine vocals is beyond awesome in this concert. the music is top notch. great crowd. megadeth is 10 times better than metallica.
While they are better than Metallica, his voice is 75% autotune and overdubs. Would still go se them any day though
Everyone uses autotune these days so no point mention it
why bring up metallica? Out of nowhere? wtf
No one gonna address those awful Falsetto's? NO?, really?......OK.
Everyone uses technology nowadays. Get used to it and just enjoy the music!
In every live gig video there's always numerous a***oles saying how terrible the front man is/would be if there wasn't the auto tune and don't know what else. Especially for Dave.
You know something? A hair from Dave's balls is more significant than you.
If you don't like Megadeth just don't listen to it and leave us alone with your s***tty complex comments
MegaDeth amazing band. Incredible. They absolutely make powerful , memorable , thrash metal , great musicianship and skill , to this day in a class all by themselves
The Best Metal Album Ever Recorded
I was THERE. Wow. . Amazing. Good memories good times.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
daves voice at that time was for me just perfekt. That concert is flawless. amazing skills and music. favorite band for sure and pantera off course ;)
LOL bro, those are not the vocals from the concert, at the time he used recorded vocals from previous concerts to replace the live ones in post-production.
I like Dave’s singing, but the time it was perfect is anytime before the 2000s. In my opinion at least.
About 50% autotune
I love MEGADETH , рыжий красавчик !!!
Rust in Peace es el disco de metal que tiene los mejores solos de guitarra!!
Dave you look constipated as all hell... Love you man, a true Icon
HARD.
Right....
PURE talent. When we all dead they will teach kids about their genius
This concert is simply perfect! Flawless performance!
Seen them 3 times , always flawless
Damn, I saw Megadeth back in 2010, time flies
Saw this douche led band in 85 with still only a demo out Death Angel. & |5 yr old drummer & shitted on aMD?unfortunately they were set up for failure again with Possessed & 4rd time opening up for Exciter& showed then they were for lamer tamer tone deaf posers
De los pocos cantantes que no han perdido su voz.
Junior sure had many solos in this concert... Poison Was The Cure, Dawn Patrol and i would call intro of Trust bass/drum solo. And there is Peace Sells
The best metal band at all !!!!
Not even close. Pantera and Lamb Of God kick Magadeths ass.
Haha, nice joke.
@@wallywalpamur4960 LMAO! MEGADETH is the best band ever!
@@wallywalpamur4960 theyre good bands but they cant even get close to megadeth's level (opinions are opinions im not forcing my taste on anyone)
@@heithembenmhni6374 Oh you want some facts. Metallica are better. Led Zeppelin are better. Even the Beatles shit on Megadeth and they're not even metal LOL. And yeah...Pantera kicked their ass mate.
Met Dave at his book signing earlier in the day of the concert in 2010 on this tour. Such a great day
If there was ever a perfect Megadeth set-list this would be it..
Totally!!
Agreed!
A perfect megadeth setlist is all their songs..
Dave Mustaine is something this world can't explain. Such beauty!
16:06 "tear it up dude" LMAO
Saw this show in Atlanta that year, I was 18. Exodus and Testament opened. One of the best shows I've ever seen to this day
Man. This was an incredible performance.
I got this awesome DVD along with CTE DVD also🤟🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
We've lost so many of the really intelligent rockers recently. Now we are realising the cultural and prophetic significance of it.... too late?
yes.. hmm.. its true.. indeed hmmm...... so sad...., hmm....
Like eye of the beholder by Metallica written damn near 35 years ago and as relevant today as it's ever been. Sign of a classic.
I saw this tour in Medford Oregon… Testament & Exodus opening.!!! Fucking awesome metal show.!!
Rust in Peace live in its entirety was OFF THE FUCKING HOOK.!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Szuper banda, szuper koncert, szuper show.
11-11-2020 this album is fkn EPIC how's about Megadeth being inducted into the rock n roll hall of fame and Slayer and Anthrax and Suicidal Tendencies. All those great bands deserve recognition
chris broderick ans david ellefson are just incredible
Hello it's Clayton turmer
MPS I love how don't need all the effects and blow up and fireworks just play awesome dude 🎸 kick ass show .!!!!
Best megadeth era for me...Dave's voice on Tornado is supreme
It's dubbed in postproduction.
Was at the Show at the Palm's in Las Vegas,NV ..🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸🤘🤘
And will be there when they come back to Vegas in 2021...😎😎😎
I don't know i like Shawn Drover, he does keep the timing steady as a rock, if i were drumming Megadeth i'd be speeding up too fast.., Chris not playing too emotional and feel either.., but they both are Hired Guns !!
Brodericks talent makes playing the tunes look easy is all...very complex artist Broderick is---diverse, masterful and def an addition to Megadeth at this point in their careers
I disagree...I think Chris is playing his heart out!!
This era of megadeth shows that u don't need only technique to be at the highest. Compare this era with megadeth nowadays, both has incredible technique and speed but Kiko and Dirk has something else
I still miss Gar+Chris. These guys lack soul.
@@Scotty_Russell_Music yeah that was the OG megadeth for sure...amazing...too good to last
Historic gig/album of their first and finest 90´s records..
I will say Dave did a damn good job on the vocals in Lucretia... the notes are high af and he nailed it
Wish I could have seen this awesome show, this was one of their best albums. I stayed up all night learning this album in a small room and a cheap guitar, I didn’t care, this was my totem.
Yep me 2 cheap ass Harmony 🎸& a small closet for like 8 hours ▶️⏹⏮🦻🏼▶️⏹⏮🦻🏼😂😂 those days where the best. Wonder how many people did the same ?
Video is super sharp. Left the tv on and this video was casting on my tv, WOW! Blewe away but the camera guy was a bit too silly on the angles. Other then that the whole thing was KILLER! Love Dave.
