I had all the same issues. Was about to give up. I saw somewhere that another possible solution was to reinsert the SD card in the frame. When I tried that I missed the slot and the tiny SD card slipped inside the frame. I said what the heck it hasn't worked 5 months so I took it apart, took out the SD card , reinserted, put it all back and wow it works. Something so simple. Take out and reinsert SD card.
dude I was out of my MIND finding the problem. Just tightened the power supply... reworks. THANKS. Gained a LOT of time and lifetime too i guess. Happy New Year.
A great tip. I got a new module and everything works but the laser won"t fire. I have done a lot of research on this and after much hand wringing have a couple of options. 1> A G code problem in the $30 to $33 range. I don't know much about that stuff, I'm new to this stuff, but I follow the forum closely now and there are about 65 issues that have been addressed in there Give it a try and the folks on this site will try to help you like they did for me. 2. I will order a new power supply and try that. Thanks for the post.
Thanks, Same problem everything works fine, but out of the blue won't fire and it will actually run a job but with no laser. I bought the power supply in your link worth a shot, everything seems fine except just won't fire. Appreciate the video.
@@lasersandsaws I have checked a lot, have not done anything with motherboard or any of that though. The laser is the only thing that doesn't come on, the fan works fine, if I click the Fire button everything operates as normal except the laser does not fire. The job will even run and laser will move but just no beam so obviously it is not doing anything but moving. It worked fine a couple days ago, just out of the blue no laser, I have not done anything to it either, it's in a room no people are in so it is not like it got bumped or damaged in any way. Should get power strip today and will see if that fixes it.
@@chadZevalkink Your description sound just like mine when the power supply went bad. I bet the new one fixes your problem. Let us know if you can how it goes.
@@lasersandsaws It didn't fix the problem still goes through same routine, doesn't fire and no laser even with the new power supply, no clue where to go from here, think my $400 laser is garbage.
@@chadZevalkink Is it an Ortur? If it is try contacting them and tell them what's happening with your laser. One question. if it's an Ortur. Do you have the most current firmware. Other than that I think you have a defective laser module because the motherboard is controlling the machine fine.
What is you laser model and head "w" output? I have atomstack a10pro and my modul output is 10- 11W 12V 3A, can I use same 24V 5A power supply like in your video as I have the same problem
I had the same problem. The laser would stop firing occasionally. Then it disappeared completely. They sent a new module. The process took 2 months. new module worked. Now the same problem started again in the new module. It works intermittently while working. Can I solve the problem with an adapter? Why does the module keep breaking down?
Hello, I have the same problem. This error gives me when I am connected via Wi-Fi from the phone and when I do it via USB from the computer, the laser turns on intermittently. did the same thing happen to you?
On mine it just completely stopped turning on the laser all of a sudden. There were no symptoms leading up to it. Does your machine function normally other than the laser module?

Sorry that's the case. You've checked your cables and everything is secure? Are you able to get the laser to turn on at all?
