I can understand why these were cut. Too many side plots and maybe a few too many red herrings, but I do like how they show off that Blanc is actually a decent detective. He has hunches, looks into leads, does his research, etc.
mike portugal I think the scene with Walt’s wife would’ve been fine to leave in. It didn’t make the pacing suffer and it led smoothly into Walt confronting Marta. But then again, Walt losing control of the business and story rights is enough motive for him to go confront Marta.
I understand why they cut those out, but I love that last scene. It’s far from perfect, but Craig is so funny/corny/goofy. For some reason “I ordered some of your featured product” cracked me up so much😂
I think the fact that Walt was in debt would have added a little to the story, especially when you see him threaten Marta because it showed just how desperate he was.
Yeah, but they also would give more meaning to the dilenma "Should Martha help these people?", at the end she asks if she should help, and Blanc says "follow your heart", but except for Meg's college, it's never clear what kind of help Walt needs. Now it's more clear. Still, i believe the movie is cleaser without this extra weght.
I get why it was all cut. It would’ve bloated the story, killed the pacing, and overcomplicated things. It’s a lot of details and moving parts to keep up with in a movie that already pulls the rug out from under the audience. The family being full of entitled brats that think they deserve the inheritance is plenty good enough.
'Knives Out' is such a richly constructed film that I wouldn't mind an extended cut with the above scenes which add a little more depth to the film as presented, they certainly don't clash with or contradict the film.
I bet if you were to name any animal and there's a 50/50 chance that there's a part of them that's good for something healthwise that can be made into a powder, paste or special ointment.

smart decision to cut these. Its not important why the family needs the money, just that they do need it.

"I did some mining offscreen" ~Blanc
Bahahaha holy shit your not wrong
Ransom was so obviously the killer. I definitely think that leaving these would have made Walt the suspect.
I think that was the great part tho. Most people thought Ransom was an obvious killer thus making them think it was someone else.
That last deleted scene was great Daniel Craig did such a good job in this role
Good Call, too much red herrings just to be blown in the mid section where it is confirmed that none of them did it
True, but they do show how good of a detective Blanc really is.

I'm so sorry for Walt..He and his family were in a deep trouble.

As soon as Blanc mentioned that he got Walt's hospital records I thought HIPPA violation. 🤐
Yup. But maybe he could have gotten a warrant? Don’t think he had grounds for one, though.
In the first one he looked down at the camera
So....my car is named after Walt🤣
Apparently the first
I’m happy that these got deleted
why? they made more in the film!
who puts snail jelly in body cream?
The use of snails is actually really popular in skincare, especially Korean.
@@zeechops401 Hm, guess she must have put something else wrong in it
