@@RiverPond11 and I thought he was just being badass and unimpressed... 😅
Which scene?
3:20 Just realized this alludes a bit to the end of the movie, where it turns out he was overthinking the whole plot, and it was “just dumb!”
I hope we can see more of him in this role or generally of this character, even though I didnt really like this movie, the acting was pretty great and the character is of Benoit Blanc lends itself as a new Hercule Poirot.
The Knives out Mysteries are the most original movies to come out in a long time. The writers put a lot of thought and effort into theses movies. They concentrated on good story telling.
Then to top of the fact that he's got a husband! And it's Hugh Grant...can this guy get more iconic
So many iconic moments!
"Oh -- Shit balls!"
Knives Out: It's not suicide, it's a murder, I must prove it, why I got hired?, there's still missing pieces.
Glass Onion: IT'S JUST DUMB!!
I just want you all to know that in spanish, instead of saying “I’m not Batman” he says “I’m not James Bond” and it was way better
Except Batman is actually a detective
Angie, or Angela Lansbury played Mrs. Fletcher, a mystery/crime writer who occasionally solves murders. Her tv show is called, Murder She Wrote. I don't know about the other 3 though.....
Natasha Lyonne, an actress who is friends with Rian Johnson. Kareem Abdul-Jabar, famous basketball player. Stephen Sondheim, absolutely legendary Broadway playwright.
Daniel Craig is so iconic as Detective Benoit Blanc!
Fun Fact:His swimsuit is in among us
0:23 reminds me of that No country for Old men scene where Chigurh asks the old guy to step off the car
3:05 it's a detail that may not be important, but I like how the bathrobe with the button down and tie is like a transitional metaphor of his suits in Knives Out to the clothes he wears in this movie. Sort of like showing how he's in a funk.
3:30- A clue stating Blanc in the face... and how he figured out the murder mystery!
A true gay icon if ye ask me!
Is it confirmed that he's gay? That'd be really cool.
@@akhilnair1137 yes it is and his husband is Hugh Grant
@@akhilnair1137 Rian Johnson confirmed it a while back and I agree it is damn cool.
There was NO way he wasn't gay. 😄 From the beginning, Blanc gave me Dill Shepphard teas. 🍹
@@akhilnair1137 I like how his gayness is portrayed here. I mean the movie did not mixed any political SJW stuff in it. The movie did not revolve around Blanc being gay, its we know now that he his gay and he his a detective.
I can't get over how the no smoking alarm sounds just like the alarm from Golden Eye on N64. Which is odd because Craig played Bond but Golden Eye was Brosnan.
The golden eye remaster opted for changing Brosman with Craig
@@ElEscolta I know but it's still so odd, I'm sure they didn't even use the same alarm sound effect for the remaster. It's just odd because there's a 6 degrees of separation but too muddled to be an Easter egg surely
need a version of this with clips from the original. daniel craig is such a legend in this role
me: 0 response to the covid gun from benoit
my sister: well, he's gay
Him not flinching at the gun shooting his throat is very funny you go gay boy✨ prove your dominance
Throat goat.
4:25 Hold up. I didn’t notice before, but is the painting behind Blanc supposed to be of Miles?
*Miles*
Yeah, that artist laughed all the way to the bank.
You can tell even craig loves blanc. He clearly has so much fun playing him
the incredulity in his voice during the reveal was something.
i love how blanc being queer made his flair for the dramatics even better in that context LMAO now i see hes not annoying but hes just camp 💅💅💅 blanc sweetie im sorry for rolling my eyes at you the first time, now im living for it!!
I see the death of Harlan and the pandemic made Trooper Wagner have a lifestyle change. 😃😜
And Blanc knew the killer from the first moment they met
No more books? Gimme alllll da booze 🥲
I just realized that Benoit was extra happy and excited when he solved the murder mystery game BECAUSE HE NEVER WINS AT THOSE GAMES WITH HIS FRIENDS and I bet he would brag about how he won a game hahahahhahahahahah
3:38 this's so funny idk why
Daniel is such a good actor and his Blanc is like the Southern Poirot.
You left out my favorite bit:
"My god, it's full of stars! 2010: The Year we Make Contact."
The fact that hes got a Hausband just makes me so 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
"OH SHITBALLS" Fucking kills me every time I hear it.
i absolutely understand why Tumblr loves this man
I love the confused grandpa vibes blanc gives for the first half of this movie. he's so awkward, i love it
please for the love of god, let Daniel Craig live the good life and do more of these movies as Benoit Blanc. just let him have fun! Knives out and Glass Onion were so good i loved them so much.
This makes me want to watch it more than the actual trailer
1:20- Feeling some Rob McElhenny energy here.
My fav part was of trooper Wagner making a random cameo and saying "Fuckin' A!"
The squeak when he slaps miles 😭😂
This just popped up in my homepage and I haven’t even seen the movie. First result when Googling the character was “Benoit Blanc gay”. Well what can I say, you have me intrigued.
I swear to God, they just got him drink before filming
All these legendary actors and the last time we see them on film they're playing among us, don't know if I should laugh or be pissed off.
Craig is already finished with Bond that gives him Millions so now he goes "imma do stupid shit because i can" and that's so fun XD
0:28 I know what you are Benoit Blanc
Blanc chilling with the alternate version of The Dude was the highlight of this movie for me
the og english voice definetly conveys better how angry and flabbergasted he is at the stupidity of Miles but honestly for the rest of the scenes I prefered the work of the german voice actor. he really emphasized his kinda shy and goofy traits and made him even more likeable. in my opinion ofc
"I'm very bad at dumb things.." LOL
