At first Craig’s accent threw me off but as the movie went on I couldn’t imagine him speaking any other way. It really suited the tone of the movie. And “donut” in any other accent wouldn’t have had the same effect.

This movie is sooo good; one of the few movies I've seen where everyone in the theatre was laughing and having a good time. Also Chris Evans was giving off such sugar-daddy vibes in this. And Daniel Craig's southern accent was beautiful. Loved them.

First time I ever watched this movie, Ransom literally just walks across the frame for a split second and I *squealed* and practically yelled.. “OMG ITS CHRIS EVANS!” And then I looked over and realised my mum was staring at me like wtf and I went upstairs to watch it.
I looked her up after the movie and one of the things shes known for is speaking with a flawless American accent...took me by surprise that she was Australian too.
Her and Meg’s actor have British/Australian accents. I wasn’t really surprised at meg’s because she didn’t sound too British, but I was completely shocked at Toni. She can make an amazing American accent
Very well-written and crafted mystery! The best I've watched. Daniel Creig and Ana De Armas are amazing actors. Fresh take on a whodunit. Just I liked it.
Its been almost 2 weeks since I finished watching this and I can't stop rewatching it. This is my new go-to movie when anxiety creeps in again. Great casting, acting, writing, cinematography, visuals, everything is great in this movie. My bad for watching it 2 years after its release. Knowing there will be part 2 makes me excited. I can't stop talking about Knives Out!
This movie was too goofy. I loved everyone. They had their own personalities and faults including the dogs and except for Granny. 😂 I love Marta. She was practically clueless.

This is the best detective I’ve ever seen in my life! The movie embodied everything that I love. As for me, it’s ideal for a family. When you watch this movie, you often laugh. Intrigue persists until the end of the film. So, it’s really well written mystery! Watch it without a doubt!!))
It's not often you find a movie that lives up to the description the actors and the people working on it give. Totally agree with the attention to details-the little visuals of all the showpieces in the house, that knife thingy behind the chair, which I only fully noticed at the end- the background score, all the characters, the set itself-this movie is indeed brilliant!
Very nice movie, not obvious who the killer was from the start. It is a fresh take on a whodunit. I recommend watching this cozy mystery with a family.)))
I've seen the reviews from critics of traditional "who done it" movies, but they can all go to hell. In this case, it's not what you want or expect, but what you need. Great movie and a classic for it's time. ☆☆☆☆☆
Idk how to say this without sounding disappointed. I ENJOYED it very much, but it had even more potential. Idk. I will rewatch it many times. Evans is the name that pulled in audiences but I really loved the entire high quality cast.
I've been watching a lot of Daniel Craig movies lately and I've watched this movie almost 9x now and it's still as interesting as ever! BTW, the 2 dog's scenes were always funny and spot on.
At first Craig’s accent threw me off but as the movie went on I couldn’t imagine him speaking any other way. It really suited the tone of the movie. And “donut” in any other accent wouldn’t have had the same effect.
k b *i felt the exact same way!*
And the constant reference to kfc, (as he was Kentuckian) was quite amusing as well!
I felt the same way too! That's why i kinda like Craig be detective Benoit blanc again XD
That's was me too. Similar to Benedict Cumberbatch in Doctor Strange
I got used to him doing this accent when he was in Logan Lucky. That's a brilliant movie like this one.
Anyone else want a series of movies starring Detective Blanc?
yes!! i said the same thing after i saw this - like poirot and mrs. marple, before him! benoit is a ball!
I've read that Rian Johnson is already thinking of doing a sequel with Detective Benoit Blanc.

Which is hilarious, because those sweaters were originally made and worn by Aran Island fishermen.
The wool ones were worn by fishermen yes, but the cashmere ones nowdays, like ransoms, are obscenely overpriced.

jayyTeęe s Definitely‼️ She was great. Oscar worthy.
Jammie Lee Curtis
hell yeah! I enjoyed all of them though
yes!! she was absolutely amazing as marta!
She was so incredible! And clearly Daniel Craig agreed because I see she's in the new Bond movie with him too!
What I love about detective Blanc is, he's a normal human being.
He misses clues, he asks helps, and he can make mistakes.
Long history of such detectives in detective lit. Such behavior becomes problematic when book is translated to film, there's simply not enough time. Works much better in a tv series than 90 minute film.
