How to tint windows on a rc truck or car

Cool video, I've found the easiest way is when the cars come with the template for the window covers, I just take the empty sticker stencil and place it over a sheet of tint and use an exacto to get perfect precut sections, they also kinda fall into the little gap made from the paint

Awesome RC Terminator. I've done the paint method but never tried this. But you are 100% correct. True scale tint with this method. I wonder if it would also count towards scale points at a event. Awesome!

Thanks brother I never thought about that for scale points may need to check in on that but for a roll of tint you can do over 100 trucks so for the cost it’s a big win for me

They make a spray on window tint for RC cars that is much easier

Yes true I had some tint here and wanted to see how it would be to go on a rc body and if someone has tint laying around at home they could do this and not spend anymore money on the spray in tint
