First off, excellent job on the figure Matt. Can't wait for my Sherman to arrive up here in Ontario, Canada! The add on kits look amazing, I will go broke watching Andy develop/share these great kits, lol. Great job Andy
Great job on the Sherman. Can I make a very small comment that with the next production, you make the tank commander have tanker's boots. I have served on every make of tank from 1968 thru 2004. M48 through M1A1 and we wore that kind of boot. Thanks again for a great kit for us modelers'.
I ordered the takom 1/16 scale jeep and Andys E8 sherman, along with one set of metal barrell and ammo, can't wait till they get here in the UK, keep me busy for a while !!!
The small satchels with 2 straps are M1936 Musette Bags, issued to Officers and others in lieu of the M1928 Marching Pack. The smaller single strapped bags are M-1 General Purpose Bags, will hold a full 200rd .30 Cal Can, or about 6 rifle grenades, or whatever the Joe wanted. The 3 strap large rolls are M1935 Bedding Rolls, usually issued to Officers, others scrounged, stole or cumshawed them, you see them hung all over tracked and wheeled M series vehicles.
I am a beginner (began at start of the year) but been following this channel for a while and feel happy seeing Andy's turning into a online shop. Hope it ships to Latin America as well (gotta check the site). Awesome!
I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to see some modern U.S. armor in 1/16th - that's affordable - like this Easy 8. A Humvee with a TOW & a decent interior... An Abrams, even the M-113 APC
Andy, I'v watched you a couple of years now. I've watched you grow your company. And I'm truly happy for your success. I've noticed you're going big with the 1/16 scale models. I'm sure you will be successful. I would like to make one suggestion, since you're producing your own models in a sense. One type of models you don't see and I wish there were more out there is 1/35 scale WW II airplane models. All you can really find are 1/32 scale. I've collected a lot of 1/35 scale armour. I for one, wish I could find the same scale in planes. Just a suggestion. If anyone could do this, it could be you. Thank you for your time. Continued success in all your endeavors.
1:35th scale is explicitly a ground military scale that Tamiya I initiated in the 1970s. The company's tanks were simpler, and motorized, befitting the preferences of their customers of the time. From what I have read, the improvements, accuracy, details, etc., had not begun till the mid-1980s. Better tooling in mold making reached consumers in the mid-1990s. I know of no kits of WWII fixed-wing aircraft kits in 1:35th scale. I have seen a few contemporary U.S. Army helicopter kits: Academy's Sikorsky CH-60 Blackhawk. Kangnam's Hughes AH-64D Apache Longbow. Trumpeter's Boeing Vertol CH-47 Chinook. We have a few dozen 1:32nd-scale kits of combat aircraft, most of older molds. Trumpeter recently made several, though some of these suffered from design errors. Tamiya has issued a number, which from all I have heard are exemplary! Their pricing would be high, though. I am no expert. This is just what I have read.
I got the shipping notice today for this and the Jeep. I am stoked!!! The Nutcracker music at the end is perfect. I think I would be sleeping on a cot in the warehouse for at least one night, soaking up all the goodness.
Today was the best invasion of Germany in a long time. A lot of Sherman tanks from Fort Glendale rolled over Germany. Thank you Andy for this big and great kit, delivered by MBK👍! Know I need a 1/16 Tiger for peaceful defence.
Just ordered mine! Also have a Tamiya 1/35 easy 8 on the way to build first so I can really do the big girl justice, they should look amazing together on the shelf! I'm definitely going to be busy this winter.
Damn. Amazing. I would buy one. But I'm building the 1/200 scale titanic. So I'm a little busy. Once I'm done with that. I will be buying one. Thanks Andy
At 8:46 (Sherman Set #2), the accessory that is immediately below and left of the part with two large bundles...is that two little heads looking out at us? 😳🤣
EDIT: Got my shipping notification email woo hoo, but the whole country is sold out of XF-69 Nato Black, You created the perfect storm. (P.S. Just snagged 5 bottles of Nato Black on ebay thankfully)
CRAP!!! They are going out in order? I'm 4,321 or 22, I forget. But keep them coming. How about an M3 halftrack with several figures? ( Just would be on my bucket list.)
Hey Andy, how about some 1:16 WW2 small arms accessory sets for U.S. and Germans??? I see lots of pics with the windshield down and a bazooka across the hood. Also, small arms (M1 and Thompson) in scabbards are common on Jeeps. Personally, I would like to put a captured MG-42 (on sandbags) on the hood of mine for the passenger. Can't wait for your next release. IMHO, the new German KF51 Panther tank would be sick. Cheers.
😢😢😢 I did not see any of the Sherman boxes with my name on it... Did see a lot with Andy...🤣😂🤣 Can't wait to have it here. I am very interested in the value gears but could not see them on your site. When can we expect them there? Take care
Amazing ! Andy has taken a hobby store and turned it into a global brand. How cool is that ? 😄
The clouds have lifted
Matt Fuss did a really amazing job painting that WWII US Tank Commander figure.
Paint job is good. But, rank insignia should be on both arms.

@@Subzero2151 Yes, you get the figure decals in the Sherman kit as well. Best regards - Andy

Awesome it would be cool for a 1/16 scale Halftrack to go along with the jeep and tank plus more figures
Trumpeter Makes the 1:16 halftrack
@@pierretrepanier3671 Only the M16 GMC, not the standard troop carrier.

A person may have to squat the suspension on the 1/4 ton, when loaded up with cargo, I've seen photos of the back end sitting lower, purdy cool 😎
Question, is their any way possible to purchase the figure already painted????
Yippeee Go Andy you da man!
They won't be there for long, Andy, I bet they will run out soon.
How does the turret traverse with all that stuff back there?
Very carefully 😁
He created a need then filled it. Then all the aftermarket guys jumped in. Smart businessman.
EDIT: Got my shipping notification email woo hoo, but the whole country is sold out of XF-69 Nato Black, You created the perfect storm. (P.S. Just snagged 5 bottles of Nato Black on ebay thankfully)

An early Christmas for many...:)
Hey Andy, I'm working on my 1/16 quarter ton truck and I was wondering of you have a favorite RUclips channel or other guide for painting US figures.
I can't wait to get mine!!!
An "EASY EIGHT" in every garage! My TAMIYA R/C 105 awaits its conversion...
Eee....I'm so excited. While fulfilling these will they include the "jeep"...or is that coming later?
Just like Christmas 🤩🤪
Andy if your next 1/16th kits is a tiger everyone that liked the Sherman will have to buy 4 of them! Haha 😅🇨🇦
Pre-ordered on the 6th of Oct. I had wanted a 1/16th tank and I wanted an Allied one, so its hard to say no to a Sherman :).
Andys taking over, hope he still has time to build models
Hey Andy, how about some 1:16 WW2 small arms accessory sets for U.S. and Germans???
I see lots of pics with the windshield down and a bazooka across the hood. Also, small arms (M1 and Thompson) in scabbards are common on Jeeps.
Personally, I would like to put a captured MG-42 (on sandbags) on the hood of mine for the passenger.
Can't wait for your next release. IMHO, the new German KF51 Panther tank would be sick. Cheers.
Saying December here in Scotland, arrrrrrrgh
Should be sooner then that all the kits have left the factory
