Fury. April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

This is one of my top 3 favorite films ever made. The actors in this movie nailed their roles and the director did an amazing job.
You really need to see more movies if this is in your Top 3

@@PereraAjith not this 😂😂😂
@@MLawrence-z9k to be fair ML not one of my top 10 ,Saving P R is in a different league but I think this film has a good human, friends, brothers interaction which I think is what they were aiming for ,not so much the "technical correct war equipment" but a tale of brothers caught between a rock and a hard place
@@derek-press u must have misread my post because I'm definitely not disagreeing with you about anything other than it not being in the top 3 greatest war films , I never said it's not in the top ten tho ❤️🥱
The way these guys treat each other is pretty spot on. As a former army infantryman the way these guys ride each other annoy each other fight with and for each other is pretty damn spot on.
Cool story BroVet.
@@haveaday1812 he's sort of right it varies from crew from unit from regiment
Exactly!!! When you mesh into that brotherhood, nobody has to say a word. You can read and understand each other to maintain momentum. Whoever hasn't experienced it, is missing out on something special.
@@russellgover8899 I hear ya, but missing out on these guys' personality kind sounds like a win to me. Great movie, despicable gang of dudes.
As a female I would not want to bump into an infantryof men in the war!
The mark of a great movie is one that makes you feel as if you are actually there experiencing events etc. and not just a bystander watching through a window.. This movie nailed it.
yea i don't get why a lot of people didn't like it. I guess because it's not like other war movies that are full of heroics perfect soldiers. It just told it like it is. There was no glory in the end. Just war
REALLLL especially at the end where theyre slowly lossing allies and ammo you could FEEL the frightening
My dad was brad Pitt in real life. Tank squad commander in the end of WW2 and Korea. He only told us one story. In front of my tank a young boy stood up with a panzerfaust aimed at us , hit him with a shell and he completely disappeared.
the young boy was very brave
Yes, old people tell stories, when you hear them you think he probably won the war on his own. mean it comes out later that he was a chef or carried maps on the staff...
people who have really experienced war - do not talk about it.
And only documents and historians can confirm how it really was, everything else is just fairy tales
@@bigdevil73 WOW , reads like you have a lot of practice to what you wrote ind the end. Not everyone keeps things bottled up. It does no good. My father was anti- war when he came home . And then lost another son in Vietnam, plus one wounded, my brothers. My wounded brother talks about things. He still has a piece of bone fused to his forearm from his friend that was standing next to him. So , Rafael , not everyone lives in silence. DON'T EVER lump individuals into a group.

The thing that amazed me about this film was the tank cannon actually looked like they were firing (especially recoil) and not just ejecting a puff of smoke. Not sure if they did it during post-production or real-time but I appreciated the detail regardless.
Turret coming off the Sherman was pretty realistic. Cool to see how it was done...
The thing that amazed me was how terrible it was.
@@mrderp1292 the movie or war? It was realistic for a made up battle with a tiger tank. So ur saying.....
@@thetvbaby83 Just a terrible film. The tanks couldn't make up for what a terrible movie it was.
@@mrderp1292 you can write, but not so good with reading comprehension ah.
If you want to know what tank warfare is like then watch this movie. I was a US Army tanker for 12 years and my crews acted like these guys, even cruder at times and the battle scenes are spot on. It is exactly like that when a tank fires of a tracer goes flying past you.
They made a PIGS EAR of the tank battles though. No Tiger crew would have done any of that nonsense.
I thank God for saving your life. These movies inspire my brother, and he would have joined the US Army even though we are Nigerians jn Africa. 9/11 inspired him to tears. He would have joined if he could.
In my opinion Fury is a superb war movie. Has a great story and a top notch cast. The filming really gives you a feeling of the horror and intensity of war. Definitely one of the best I've seen.

Profound
I was a stand-in for Logan on Perks of Being a Wallflower. Really nice guy. Fantastic actor. Almost every take he did was money
We lost our Dad back in 1996, and he'd commanded a Stuart tank in Patton's Third Army. He got to see the Patton movie, and I think he would have enjoyed Fury and others. As was common back then he didn't speak of his war experiences although we understand and wish he would have. We still miss him.
a movie that has real functioning vehicles, true legend
I don't often rewatch movies these days, simply not worth it. However, I keep rewatching Fury. This is top notch and immersive in my opinion. Great flick.
Hell of a movie. My dad was 1st Armored in Korea and it brought back many memories of how and what he trained on. Thanks 🙏🏻
He might know my dad tank squad commander end of WW2 and Korea
Your dad may have known my dad
Wouldn't that be something.
My old man was tough as nails with 11 kids, fair, but tough. Never disciplined. He would tell the older ones to do it or he would to them.
One of the best movies I've ever seen. Brad Pitt and Shia LeBoeuf give stunning performances.
LA Boeuf did a good job....but Pitt gave his normal poor performance....he really is a mediocre actor.....
Was a tribute to the men of the Greatest Generation. I have known men that were in the Armor Division. A great tribute to the men and machines.
Thank You for the making such a great movie.
Love all the details the director put into every single aspect of this movie. It’s a fantastic film and the actors chosen were spot on. Really enjoy seeing this behind the scenes stuff, stuff I’ll never ever know about otherwise. Great movie.
david ayer should be so proud of his self ,producing a first class film, filmed as it would have happened
I watched this film 3 times and I get very emotional just thinking about my uncle walking behind such a war machine. It must have been freaking to count the time you have left to live...He never came back home.
My Uncle Bill was killed in Germany 22 days before Nazis surrendered. I live in the house my Grandfather built and sleep in his bedroom. Old timers, when I first moved here, would come up to me in the street and tell me what a great guy Bill had been.
Army, 2nd Lt. Bill Lorenz. Please say his name.
Me too....
All gave some. Some gave all. Honors.
One of the best cast ensembles in any war movie
This too is one of my top three movies ever.. David is a genius I saw this in the theater when it first came out. I could feel the fear, the damp chill, the depravity, the absolute brutality and calamity of war... the exhaustion. I was never in combat, much less the ETO in 1945, This had to be probably the most realistic war movie ( except for maybe the last scene ) ever made..
This film ranks as one of mt favorite war movies. Despite some inaccuracies, its super well made and very entertaining and relatable.
tbh theres not a lot of inaccuracies other than the fact that 1 a tiger wouldn't fire on the move, 2 the Shermans in the film wouldn't be able to fire on the move or that the tiger would target the last tank first but got to agree very entertaining. If they had a 76 with a gyro maybe itd be able to but they didnt have one
@@stubbystudios9811 duh Easy eight sherman can fire while moving
This movie gets quite a bit of hate online due to some ridiculous scenes, but overall it is incredible for anyone interested in Sherman tanks and the POV of a tank crew. Wish there were more of these movies and less Fast n Furious
One of the better war movies out there. Not perfect but really good.
I wish they would have paid more attention to accuracy in this movie, but we should be grateful we got one this good at all.
What a spectacular job by the Director. So much coordination required. This was one of the best WW II movies. Right up there with Saving Private Ryan.
it was a good movie but historically inaccurate.
It’s a great movie and I can’t stop watching, they did incredible job from the director, actors and producer they did amazing
That scene where the tank round pinged off the other tank was 👍🏼
One of my favourite war movies.well done to all involved
I watched this movie about 20 times and everything was perfect, the acting wow everyone was on point
Entertaining, loved the Tiger tank scrap. The crossroads battle scene at the end, is frankly b-ll-cks! Incapacitated Sherman would have been destroyed in minutes by a SS battalion.
Yeah, that Tiger would have never broken cover!
@@scotthaskin1509 And the Tiger would've shot the columns leading tank, which was the E8. So the movie should've ended there.
This Fury movie should come back with fury 2 it started from North Africa to France
10:39 David ayer admit it 🤣
This, roll credits.
He mentioned at the end of this video that as a director you tend to butt heads with the writers.
I like to think David had a disagreement with the writers about this scene.
He clearly knows it didn’t make sense but as a Director it’s still his job to convey the writer’s story. Even if doesn’t make sense
So many other terrible actions taken in the film as well
@@LucidLegend1984 absolutely agree. It's full of inaccuracies but as a movie, I still think it's great and enjoy it.

Even if this film isn’t accurate to WWII , it’s still one of my favorite movies
For me , Fury is a masterpiece war movies !!!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 y los Marvel el futuro.😂😂😂
FURY has to be one of my favorites, especially as i adore Tanks. Some folk say this film was unrealistic. How the fk would they know when they weren't there?
Because it was unrealistic. You can read much about tank combat and tactics. Especially the final end of the movie was the most stupid. A whole SS battalion running in front of a isolated sherman was just pure madness and made 0 sense. The germans were not stupid and would have taken that sherman out with 5-6 men and a dozen of panzerschrecks and panzerfaust flanking the sherman.
@@MasterSteve_117 you're correct, I think the director was trying to put across the dedication these men had for the machine, each other and hatred for their enemies cause. Remember at this point in the war, they heard about the Holocaust.
If u had served and not specifically in ww2, you would know why.
This movie was such a blockbuster movie
In the worst sense of the word.
so much work behind that movie, omg. Bravo
Best job I ever had
I love that movie so many times i watching right here in the Philippines, the expression
of their face is so ideal its so natural
This was an excellent film. What a great look into the process. Folks that criticize some of its inaccuracies are totally missing the point. This wasn't meant to be a documentary.
I've watched this movie many, many times (including i'm watching now - 10/march/2023) and I love this movie so much, the sets is surreal and the cast's performance is incredible and worthy of applause! I've been curious to see what it was like behind the scenes of 'Fury' since the first time I saw the movie, but I kept forgetting, I'm just seeing it now.
you can nitpick all you want but the movie was an emotional rollercoaster and it did a better jjob at showing the horrors of war and the emotions of the soldiers than any other war movie ive seen.@@fallschirmjager0000
@@fallschirmjager0000I'm a history nerd but this is just a movie. If the main characters died in the first battle or in the tiger ambush, it wouldn't be a good movie.
You made an awesome movie!
I remember seeing a picture of my Uncle Cecil Dickerson with his Sherman tank crew. He was the tank commander.
I wish they’d make more movies like this. I thought it was incredible
No other movie can beat saving private Ryan hands down! The addiction is real
5:40 I agree the movie is about their relationship and that’s why I keep watching it. I think this is the best war movie since saving private ryan, and to tell the truth, those two are the only good war movies that were ever made.
Right here in the Philippines, that movie is number one at that time FURY
Love these guys man great actors
what a masterpiece
finally a new video of fury ... ;)
This was great. Thank you for putting this together.
The last scene makes me uneasy. When I saw it at the theater it moved me. I wasn't right for a few days thinking of the sacrife that the greatest generation made to fight against fascism.
Exactly what saving private Ryan did to me when i watched it at home 2 weeks ago. My nightmares are very intense though
Great film , really is one of the best all-time war movies
can't forget "fire.! "fire what" 😂
4:13 it's crazy how post-processing, effects, lighting, sound, are all so different in the final film vs the actual filming noises and colours of real life.
Michael Peña wearing the top hat! 💀🤣
*Awaiting the director's cut to be shown in full soon!* 👍
It looks like it is more easier to be at war than make a movie about war.
Thank you for this great behind whane i see all in order to front.
Excellent casting by the way
Best Tank Movie ever Design
Incredible film always will be every time u watch it . Perfect
I'm finally getting to see this on today. Thanks to Netflix!
Its actually a great war movie! I dont understand why the gun shots and bullets look like in star wars, but a great movie!
Tracer rounds are why it looks like that. Most heavy machine guns had a tracer round every so often to help them aim.
Love this movie !!
“I want to try to make it as real as possible” then proceeds to make the tank duel with the Tiger as unrealistic as possible
Agree. They made great visual work and atmosphere, but the story is quite flat and battles are too far from reality. Even the last battle. With couple of Panzerfaust, which every division of SS had at that time, Germans would have finished this battle pretty soon. Or simply ignored this immobilised tank and went their way. The final religious speech was also a bit artificial to me, but I can admit, that probably it is personal judgement. I was much more impressed by "Band of Brothers" miniseries. Probably it is good idea to use real background for the film instead of imaginary situations. There are plenty of real stories.
How is it unrealistic? Ah right, because people like you judge an entire move over one scene (that is still extremely good, but apparently having a documentary matters more than entertainment).
Imho this movie has two unrealistic scenes (and I'm not even mentioning the long fighting scene at the end) : the Tiger tank should never have left its conceiled position in stead of coming out of it; and the hidden anti tank cannon should have taken out at least one Sherman tank.
Most comments here assume war is predictable and the procedures are always followed by every group. That is simply not the case. What the tiger should have done or how the Sherman's should have responded is up for anybody's guess in war. Try not to think too much into this film and you can really enjoy it. It's not a history movie.
I mean... If you weren't there how would you know what is accurate and what isn't... Plus yes I know there are books and documentaries but that doesn't account for all Tankers who served... There is a slight possibility that this could have happened in the later parts of WW2... Plus overall it's a film for entertainment... And yes some Historical learning but it's not to overthink about
Watched the behind the scenes of the involvement of the tank museum’s involvement, excellent piece
This will be the best movie I have ever watched in the future. ❤
One of my favourite war movies, along with Saving Private Ryan
I generally enjoyed the film. But as an ex Tankie I had to cast a slightly critical eye over it. The main criticism is that the troop of tanks operated far to close to one another, in real life there would have been far more distance between tanks, but I fully understand that this was for photographic purposes. The other is the ending, sorry, just naff.
For me this is one of the best war movie
Very good for a hollywood movie. The multi levels of relation between the commander and the crew in the different situations added a very special dark/bright atmosphere to the scenes.
5* movie. Absolutely addictive.
I swear these videos have more production than the movie itself... let that sink in for a sec.... if they put all of the effort on the movie instead of these "videos" it might have been legendary, instead, we got a mid-low movie....
there was only one ting wrong with the tiger tank scene and it was HUGE.....no tiger tank commander would have got closer to the shermans he would have backed up and used that 88's longer range VS the pop gun the shermans had , even the E8 was out gunned at rnage
Correct
I'm going to watch this movie again tonight! Love this movie!!!!!
I loved saving private Ryan more, way more intense
@@nicolelawless9942 Waaaaaaaaay more intense. But fury is deep and light at the same time while entertaining. I love Saving Private Ryan, great film. But Fury is up there with Inglorius Bastards. Its just a good movie. Saving Private Ryan is so realistic I get involentary body reactions and nervous twitches my wife notices durring some scenes. I've even heard that some WWII verterans couldn't cope with the beach landing scene. It made me tense and I didnt have to go through that before. Bridge at Remagen is a good movie with tanks also, the tanks are not the focus (well sort of) but it's cool to see them smash through lines.
